Favorite toddler toy ever!

My son who just turned 2 loves these. He has always liked legos, but isn't old enough to put them together on his own, so I thought he might be ready for the Duplos. I was worried he wasn't old enough for them yet and thought of getting mega blocks instead. I am glad I didn't, because it didn't take him long to learn how to put the pieces together and he LOVES these. He plays with them more than he has ever played with anything, and they are so good for him. The storage box is nice, but smaller than I pictured. Even so the blocks only fill it up half way. However we also got the 70 piece Creative Building Box set, and the little Farm Animals set. Together they all fill the plastic bin clear to the top (but still able to close) and are the perfect amount to really get into some serious building fun. :)

Nice set

Very nice lego. I bought it for my friend's kid. And I think he will love it. I like the idea of mixing different blocks together so you can create your own house/world. Terrific First Set!

This was a perfect purchase for my youngster. Just the right amount of pieces for a "first set". This set did not come with a play mat - I had to order it separately. Love that it comes with wheels and a little dog! Very happy with this purchase!

Kids love, colour brilliant

Kids love, colour brilliant. The box closes properly and all the blocks fit easily, even if it is not packed neatly. Just throw in and close the lid. Children age ranging from 1 year to 9 years plays with it. So far there are no breakage, and it is all boy children. I will recommend for any family. The best part is the packing up and storing. Easy to pack up and store away.

Great Toy for Toddlers

Given as a gift to 18 month old grandson. He absolutely loved them. I must admit I was surprised by how much he did like them. I think his favorite thing was after I'd put them all back in the container, he would promptly dump them all out. Could hardly ever keep them in their box! He loved stacking them and also loved the window feature once I assembled it for him. Was also fond of the little doggie in there and the man. He kept referrin to the man as "dada". It was funny. Very pleased with my purchase and my grandson as well! Mission accopmplished!

Lots of Lego Duplos = Lots of Fun!

This is a great set of Duplos that can be used by itself or can be used with other Duplo sets such as Town Fire Truck, to build on that set. The All-in-One-Box has a lot of small square pieces, other shaped pieces, a wheel base that can be used to make a train, a car, etc. Our 4-year-old grandson loves this set! Highly recommend.

This set is so cool! I love the storage box

This set is so cool! I love the storage box. It's cute and holds a lot of duplo blocks so my son is able to keep all of his sets together easily. It is a great starter set. He is able to build lots of different things from the building blocks included so it keeps him busy for a good amount of time. It is one of the toys he keeps coming back to. Duplos are easy for him to take apart and put back together without help so it's great for both of us!

Great set, but not enough pieces by itself.

This was my sons first lego set. It's a good set, a lot of good pieces, and the little dog is a plus. But I would get another set with this one. There isn't enough generic pieces, like little squares and the rectangles. That's what we did, and later on we got a couple car sets. There is never enough platforms so we'll have to get more of those too.

This is a great DUPLO set that provides hours of play time and learning

Awesome toy with unending hours of playtime! The large size of the Duplo blocks are great for the younger children. The imagination of our grandchildren always surprises us. So not only are they learning but there's always lots of laughter as we play together. All the pieces are stored in the storage box it comes with. With colored DUPLO pieces which also have numbers on them makes this a perfect choice for any younger child. We've also added to this collection as we've purchased other Duplo sets.

Lots of Types of Pieces

Got this for a two year old girl and specifically bought this one because of the windows, dog ("Puppy!") and car piece. There are only a few designs in the booklet, which is OK for a lot of Legos, but it would have been nice to have a little more inspiration for the younger ones. She puts pieces together and takes them apart. None of the pieces look too small for little ones who are still putting everything in their mouth. The cover closes tightly so the pieces don't fall out every time you move the box around (i was worried about that). Also, it has the nice addition of some decorative blocks (1, 2, 3, cherries, etc). I really like the versatility of the pieces included. There are a lot of possibilities there and I'm sure some patterns are available online.
