This works fantastic for mouth taping at night. The 1" width was never quite enough stick; my mouth would work its way open with it without fail. The 2" has perfect amount of surface area & stickiness level to stay in place overnight. I was even able to reuse the piece without issue. No stickiness left on the face, and my sensitive skin hasn't suffered for it.

Brand names became brand names because they make products that are better than the competition, and this is a prime example. There are a lot of manufacturers of paper tape out there, but I have yet to find one (I'm a doc) that does a better job of balancing adhesion and painless removal with breathability than the 3M product. Yes, this is exactly what we use in the hospital, and yes, there's a reason. If you're stocking up, you need some of this, some plastic perforated tape (TransPore is the 3M brand if you want to go with the genuine article) and very little else.

I love this tape! I used it after painful foot surgery and it held the bandages in place wonderfully. Its not heavy like most adhesive tape so it let my skin 'breathe'. Its thin, very soft, and similar to what most know as 'onion paper' except it has a sticky back that stays very well! Its very flexible and bends, folds, and wraps over any shape without a problem. I love that it's on a roll and easily tears off like Scotch tape. It also doesn't roll up on the corners on a bandage like other tapes do. I've taped directly onto skin, over gauze, and even over an elastic bandage and it stuck. It only came off when I took it off. I found it stays on even better when I wrapped it completely around my foot and overlapped the ends. With the gauze, it kept my incision clean and in place until I changed the bandage the next day. I liked the width, too. I could use the width to cover a larger area or tear it in smaller strips to use like a 'butterfly' bandage without having to cut them separately. Overall, I'll continue to buy these tape rolls in pairs or in bundles because their use is so versatile.

This came with it's own dispenser so no looking for scissors when needed - it was necessary the day I received it, so also timely. It leaves a residue like most tape but at least no one is allergic to this one. The dispensers are lightweight but effective and small enough you could carry it easily in a purse or small first aid kit. It sticks well, doesn't lift off unless you remove it but it allows skin to breathe apparently. No rashes have developed from using this particular typse and brand of tape so I'll keep it on my list to reorder. Thanks Amazon.

I use this tape to keep my mouth closed during the night while I sleep. It has made a huge difference in my sleep and nearly cured my dry mouth. This tape is very gentle, but adheres well. I have sensitive skin and have had skin reactions to adhesives in the past, but I have been using this tape for months with no problems. It does like some residue, but it's very easy to clean it off. I don't find the dispenser to be helpful and usually end up with cutting the tape with scissors.

Perfect tape and identical to what the hospital sent home with us. We needed more, and I was glad to find it here and a very good price. This is also good item to keep on hand for future emergencies or first-aid.... or just "being prepared." highly recommend. It sticks to skin surfaces well, somewhat waterproof, and it peels off fairly easily.

I have sleep apnea and bought these to reduce mouth breathing. It works. I initially used the 1 inch size, but have switched to 2 inches as these seal better. The only down side is it can be a little discomfort to remove the next morning, so I need to not adhere too firmly when applying. I have tried alternatives specifically designed to reduce mouth breathing and haven't found any that work, so am thankful that I have these.

I like the applicator because I don't have to use scissors to cut it. The adhesive is good enough for my sensitive skin but sometimes I have to use gauze & a tape with more adhesion that doesn't pull at my skin when removed. Recommend this product.

I thought this was a crazy idea, but when I read about using it to tape my mouth shut, I laughed but decided to try it. I have to wear a Cpap and it made my mouth like a desert--so dry I could hardly move my tongue! After using this, I have had no dry mouth problems! Crazy, but it works!

I use this for mouth taping at night. It is very sticky! I put a very thin layer of lip cream on to help protect my lip and mouth skin and it stays on all night. If you have sensitive skin, you might have problems but I do ok.
