I've bought three now. Touchscreen works through the plastic when needed. Replaced one of the straps, but I am highly active and use mine five or more days a week. I substitute a nice lanyard or old camera strap when the stitching on the strap starts to go. Would recommend since it leaves hands free for other things. Gave one as a gift and still use the first two, a year or more later.

Works with iPhone 8+ home button

I bought this to use with my iPhone 8+ as it was advertised that it maintained full touch screen functionality. My phone fits inside with room to spare, and it works with the home button. This case does keep my phone dry and there is a bit of extra room for some cash and maybe a hotel key. It came with a lanyard, and an armband that I most likely will not use. I'll be using this in December while on vacation in Jamaica and hopefully pool pictures will be clear.

Loved it!!

I can’t brag on this product enough.... this was the best thing I bough for our trip!!! It went snorkeling 5 times, swimming numerous of times in addition to zip lining and still took awesome pictures. It might appear to be flimsy but let me tell you, it does the job... I highly recommend that if you plan to do ANY water activities and you want to use your camera.... purchase this item, it will not disappoint!!

This product is fantastic. It delivered its promises

used this for a trip to Florida where gong in the water was constant. Was a bit hesitant, considering my phone is practically my life. But wanted to take photos and videos while doing water activities, so took this along. This product is fantastic. It delivered its promises. And unlike other brands, (my hubby bought from different seller), the non-elastic armband was wide and tight enough, perfect for me. He couldn't use his armband because it was a thin, long, elastic material.

I'm happy with my purchase. Everything is what i expected it to be and it was so affordable. I had a somewhat thin case for mt s8 + but i still had to take it out of the case to close it which is still okay. I was still able to use my phone while inside the case without any trouble. Before i use i tested a few times in water by putting tissue inside to make sure nothing got inside. It was a success. So always test it before putting in your phone. But i did notice that some water got into the space between the clips on top when i submerged it,. So when i opened it little drops got in. But the case itself was 100% sealed so just be aware when submerging the case and opening it because drops of water may get in. The arm strap was comfortable to wear and the texture seems it would dry fast if it were to get wet. I wasn't a fan of the lanyard because it looks like the clip that is detachable could break easily. So i would just recommend using another stronger lanyard. Overall i was very pleased with my purchase.

Heads up on durbility

I tested the thing as requested and it was fine with being airtight however I purchased this to run the Tough Mudder competition. Needless to say it did not hold up to the challenge. About 8 miles into the competition I noticed my phone calling random people and discovered there was a small hole in the plastic covering. I believe it is good for repelling against being submerged into water and/or exposure to body moisture from working out, but the dynamic movements of the event in addition to sweat, mud, ice, water, falling and scraping along proved to be too much for this case to handle. I wouldn't recommend this product for a Tough mudder or similar event because of some of its rigid nature, which may get folded and/or bent repeatedly and cause fracturing which can allow moisture in. Thanks for the product and keep me posted if there are any changes made to this design. EJ

Excellent waterproof protecting bag for cell phone

Excellent product for Google Pixel! Riding a motorcycle leaves you exposed to everything. I was concerned even having my cell in the backpack, because although the backpack is water resistant, it isn't waterproof. I keep the cell in the OtterBox protective case and then put this in the waterproof pouch! ShaZam! It stays dry and I can still with 3 layers (1 screen protector, built in screen protector on the OtterBox case and this bag), I have no issues using the touchscreen even with motorcycle gloves on, which are very thick leather. I may even order an extra to keep other things for longer rides. Fantastic item!

Difficulty waking up iPhone X screen while in bag

On a positive note: I like the idea of the bag. It's built sturdy and seems like it will last a long time. Looks great. Great design. I didn't test for waterproofing because just being splashproof is my only need. My only complaint is that when the phone is in the bag, I can't wake up the screen on my iPhone X. The only way is to open the bag, then reach in with a finger and tap the screen. What also happened when I was doing yard work with it around my neck, the bag kept pushing the buttons on my screen and activating the zoom box. Maybe these complaints are isolated to my situation.

It's comfortable enough that I don't notice it

About 30 seconds after I put my phone in it, there was a little hole in the front clear plastic, big enough to be noticeable, small enough that it's not too big a deal. I expected it to be a little more durable, and actually waterproof. Buuuut I'm not using it for swimming or anything, and it's okay for running. It's comfortable enough that I don't notice it, and it's easy to manipulate my smartphone while it's in the case. Plus, the locking mechanism is neat. Update 8/16 A day or two after I wrote the review above, I was contacted via email and sent a replacement product. Lots of bonus points for standing behind their product. Even more bonus points for the replacement working great. No complaints whatsoever.
