Great set of spoons

I love my set of stainless steel measuring spoons. They feel good in the hand; sturdy and substantial. I like the deep scoop of the spoons because liquids don't tend to slop out the opposite side when pouring. They fill up perfectly every time. My old, plastic set was shallow and wide, and I always seemed to be slopping vinegar and vanilla extract, etc. out the sides. These work really well for powdered goods too. They even seem to give me cleaner rounded measurements, when a rounded spoonful is indicated. I guess that must be due to the shape of the cups. Also, the back side of each cup is brushed steel, making them look classy, and, of course, I love how easy it is to remove a spoon when needed. Glad I bought them.

Why I like these measuring spoons: 1) They're very sturdy spoons. Stainless steel is a high-quality material. They'll last forever. 2) The connector ring opens and closes very easily so you can remove spoons without much hassle. 3) They come with a 1/8 tsp measure, which my old spoons didn't have! 4) They're deep and narrow, so they fit into most jars. This is actually a huge selling point. It's so annoying when not even your smallest spoon on the ring fits into a spice jar!! Less likely to happen with these, it seems. My one small complaint: they're heavy to handle. But it's not really a complaint, because flimsy spoons bend and break.

WAY better than the plastic, cheap ones!

I previously had those cheap red measuring spoons that I think you get from the dollar store, and the numbers were rubbing off/completely gone on the handles! While I know for the most part what size the measuring spoons are, it's still nice to have them marked accurately. I decided I wanted something that would last a long time and not have the same problem I had with the last cheap, plastic ones. These are PERFECT! I love how nice they look, how they even include 1/8 tsp and 1/2 tbsp, which are not as common to find, and that the numbers are engraved, so no fear of them rubbing off. Don't hesitate to buy these, these are a great add to my kitchen supplies that I know I will have for years to come.

The best set I have ever purchased

I purchased these measuring spoons because I was frustrated with thin metal measuring spoons that would bend while scooping brown sugar and plastic spoons with size labels that would disappear and leave me to guess the amount each held. The 1Easylife stainless steel measuring spoons have been wonderful. They are made of super strong (though not thick metal) and the etched in measurement amounts will not fall off or fade away with use. I am very happy with this product and when I decide to purchase measuring spoons again, I will reorder this set.

Bought to measure my pet's medicine, now ordering a set for myself

I never considered replacing the flimsy, aluminum, measuring spoons I have had since I started cooking until I had a need for a 1/8 tsp. measure. The occasional time in the past when 1/8 tsp. of some spice was needed, an eye-balling of half the 1/4 tsp. was good enough. Then my pet developed a condition that required 1/8 tsp. of a dry medicine first once, then twice a day. I went looking to see if a measuring spoon set that included a 1/8 tsp. measure was available and found this and other manufacturers' options here. I opted to order this for two reasons: First, the design. The handles being flush to the measuring bowls looked as if these would be easiest to use in the medicine containers. Second, the reviews--people praised them. When they arrived I was really surprised how heavy they were. After light weight aluminum, I really was not sure how long it would take me to feel comfortable using them. This was no longer an issue after a few days, probably because I was so pleased with how well the bowl design of the measuring cups made getting the correct amount of my pet's medicine exact by a slight tap inside his medicine container. Before I had to use a straight edge to get the exact amount. An additional perk is that the handles are long enough to reach the bottom of the medicine bottles, a real advantage when the bottle is almost empty. Since I have to use the 1/8 and 1/4 tsp. measures twice each day, I have them handing on a magnetic hook in the kitchen. The way all the measures nest into each other when hung is very nice. The ring that attaches them is sturdy enough to use for keys. After using these for one month I have decided to order a second set. The set I have right now will only be used for my pet and the one I order, for me to measure spices.

Good Quality Item

These meet my needs very well. I'm not a professional cook but, I do dabble. My old set of measuring spoons had an etched measure that became very hard to read after years of washing. These look like they will last forever since the measure is stamped into the steel. They seem to be fairly heavy duty and dont bend easily. I've seem some reviews that complain about exact measures not being true..... Really? I'm not mixing the cure for cancer where life hangs in the balance over a microgram of ingredients! These are accurate enough to get me in the game and, I always adjust recipes based on my taste anyway.(as do most people) You wont be disappointed with these unless you are "one of those people". I which case you need an analytical balance, not measuring spoons

They do not bend!

I have a set of metal measuring spoons, but they were cheap flimsy things that could easily bend when scooping out ingredients. I was looking for something heavier. This set is it! The metal is thick enough that I am not at all worried about them bending while I use them. I also like the ring the spoons are attached with. It keeps everything together, but allows me to pull them apart if I feel the need. So far these have held up, and washed up well. I look forward to using them more in the future. Great price for really good quality!

Exactly what I wanted

My mom bought me new measuring spoons, but they didn't have all the measurements I wanted and they were plastic, so I returned them (please don't tell). I did some research to find these, and I'm totally satisfied. do a lot of baking, so I needed the 1/8 measurement and this has that. The ring opens to allow use of one spoon with easy cleaning. They are stainless steel, which to me means they are cleaner and will last longer. The measurement is etched in the handle, so it won't wear off in time like my plastic measuring spoons. Initially, I thought each spoon was deeper and possibly bigger in size, but I haven't noticed a change in taste in my baking ;)

I am not sure if it is suppose to be like this but the Tbsp spoon arrived bent. I don't believe it was bent in the shipping since all the other spoons are completely straight and it appears so in the picture. The metal is really strong and I am unable to bend it back so it probably happened during manufacturing. Overall the spoons seem to be made from a good material but I don' think there is QA or there is lacking of QA as they go into the box. *** Update, company contacted me and offer an replacement. It was painless and the new set was perfect.

Gorgeous

Wow! These are so beautiful and the feel is fantastic. Makes me want to buy a 2nd set even though we have other sets (maybe in my quest to reduce plastic in our kitchen?? These really are a cut above other steel spoons. Love the brushed look so that they resist looking scratched like polished steel. The clip is sturdy and I love having 6 in a set instead of 4 or 5.
