Great Product with Mutiple Purposes

This works great for an all-weather storage bench. The bench is actually pretty comfy (I was debating whether or not buy a cushion, but I don't think I will). Pretty easy to set up, only took me about 5 minutes, just make sure you have everything facing the right way. The directions are on the box that it comes in and don't show many details about how to figure out which way each piece should face, but with using logic it's not hard too figure out. The storage area is great, although I'm not sure what to store in it yet. I wouldn't trust storing anything that could get water damaged, but it's nice to have the option of more storage. It has definitely added a little more life to the backyard and I can see it being used for years to come. I feel it is reasonably priced too. Overall, I am pleased with this buy and would recommend it for someone looking for an outside place to sit and store their outdoor things.

Perfect size & features

First let me say, yes it really is a split lid. It didn't really look like it in the pictures but the description said it was. That is a big plus to me, at least, for our uses. This box is the perfect size to neatly hold our recycling until it's ready to go to the cub. Got this to put on the deck, right next to the kitchen door so we could quickly & easily put the recycling in its place, AND I could then reclaim a cabinet in the kitchen to use for kitchen items I actually plan to keep & use.... Like appliances. My middle-school son put it together in about 5-10 min. Probably took him longer to get it out of the box. It is the perfect dimensions for what I wanted and a price that I could handle. AND I gained precious kitchen cabinet space. (!)

Good, solid outdoor bench!

Love it! Even my dog likes it...jumping up to take an afternoon nap while I'm out on the deck enjoying the afternoon. It's one solid container too! Cushions store nicely in it!

I bought this rubbermaid shed for my garbage cans. But the amazing thing is the quality of the parts of this product. About a week after I put it together we had these incredible hurricane force winds. Went out to put my garbage in the cans and the entire thing was gone. I looked around my 3 acres and managed to find all of the parts. I was climbing onto rocks into bushes everywhere. I found all of them and not one part was broken. I don't think there were even any scratches on it. I have now moved it so the wind can't take it again.I would make sure the size is what you need as my cans barely fit inside but other than that I would recommend this product.

Good sturdy item for the price

While it is a little larger than I expected (and heavier) it has done a great job. Please note after delivery it should have 2 people to move it to the area where you want to build it. I ended up opening the box and taking it piece by piece to the backyard to build it. The individual plastic pieces are not heavy but all together they amount to a sturdy solid structure that even once built needs two people to move. I was putting it on cement and was able to push/slide it to a level area. It has held up to major rain storms already this spring. It is well sealed so no rain run off went into the container. Please note the particle board shelf they provided warped within 3 days in the humidity. So you will want to keep a close eye on the shelf and rotate it if it begins to warp or replace the shelf altogether with another material. I won't need the shelf this summer but will need it to put the garden materials such as flower pots, stands, and statuary items away when the fall clean up begins. I recommend this purchase for someone who wants to store smaller items outside. If you need to store bigger items such as shovels and rakes this is not for you.

Great product for sure/Worth it for the pool

Very sturdy. Not completely water proof. If there is water on lid when you open it all of it will go onto your things stored inside. We are using it for our deck by our pool. Pool noodles are too long and will not fit inside. Pool hose and other supplies for cleaning pool is what we are storing in side. If you use it for towels. just make sure to wipe lid off before opening if wet. I really like this and may purchase another for the other side of deck. For putting together: I lady of house put it together. Just make sure to slide first two parts all the way in. I had to pop all parts apart and start over. Took me with starting over maybe 1/2 hour. When first opening. I thought there is no way this will hold anyone to set on. Well, it will hold 2 good size men just fine. If you have Amazon prime. I ended up getting free shipping which was very nice. Product made very well. Rubbermaid needs to trim some of the plastic trimmimgs off a little better. But a 5 star for us

Easy assembly. Great purchase for something quick.

I didn't know what to expect in terms of assembly. I'm a new home owner and not always the best at putting things together. But this was simple. No tools were used. It snaps together like a puzzle. My 9 year old helped me as some of it is awkward (i.e., needing to hold a piece and slide another piece on to it). Other than that, the shed should be ready to go in 15 - 20 minutes. I just recently relocated it in my back yard. I emptied it first, then slid it over to a new spot. Easy. I wish it was slightly taller because standard height tools are too tall and will not stand up like a rake, shovel, etc. But I bought a lock to store my electric mower with collapsible handle, a fertilizer spreader with collapsible handle, a hedge trimmer, trimmer edger and a rake sort of lays across diagonally. There's more room too.

Had one just like this one for 18 years

Had one just like this one for 18 years. We keep pool chemicals in it and it has worked out very well. Would still have the other one but in the spring time our city was devastated by basketball and softball sized hail. This product actually withstood the hailstorm better then I ever expected, but one big basketball sized hail stone broke one of the Rubbermaid hinges on one of the doors. Had that hailstone missed by an inch either way I would still be using it. I live in North Texas and my other container stayed out in the extreme weather for 18 years without any problems. This new one is just a little off being squared but I think the heat will make it right. Seems like the older one was this way at first also. It also had a small hole on the outside of one of the back panels but this looks like something hit it in transit. I used some 80 year calk and filled the hole. If this one is anywhere near as tough as the other one, it will out live me. I recommend this product!!

Great patio bench

I have a small patio and not much storage space. This is perfect for the space. Struggled a little putting it together, but no tools needed. Just some muscle power.

Very sturdy, easy to assemble, full dimensions in review

I ordered this for my back patio to replace an old wooden bench that was literally on it's last leg. I would highly recommend this storage bench. Despite being "plastic" (it's a composite resin) it is VERY sturdy. I weigh 380 pounds and it easily holds me. In fact I would absolutely have no worries about standing up on the seat of this and jumping up and down, even at my weight! The assembly is very simple, instructions are right on the outside of the box. No tools are required, it just snaps and slides together.
