Charger, yes- Batteries beware

The charger works fine, the problem was with the batteries. 2 of the 4 would not take a charge after multiple attempts. I guess that's the chance you take. I discharged and charged4 or 5 times and still no luck. 8/29 update I was contacted by the service dept. and they sent replacement batteries. They all charged and work great. They get five stars for service. Would buy from them again.

I would like to correct a negative review I just left. I realize that I was trying to recharge the wrong kind of battery and it was my fault that I was getting an error message.

Great value!

I was a little skeptical at first because I never heard of this brand but you can't beat the price so I went ahead and ordered. So far they have been working great. I have a newborn with swings and bouncers galore that use batteries so I need a lot. After two uses, they have already paid for themselves compared to the alkaline batteries. I love how you can charge AA, AAA, C, D, and 9V all in this charger. The screen lets you know when they are charging and done. They charge quickly which is really nice. I am using rechargeable batteries from now on and hope this brand stays at this value. Definitely worth the money!

The Last battery charger you will ever need.

This is a fantastic charger. It does every size battery (AAA, AA, C, D, and 9 volt) so it really is the only charger you need. There are a couple cool things this does that impressed me. First, the cord is detachable so when you are done using it, unplug it and put it back in where the batteries charge and it's easy to store and takes up less space. Second, it can drain batteries so they can then be fully charged which can effectively reset the memory of the charge. It also charges very fast, even the larger sizes, which never took longer than 3 hours to charge the D size batteries. The display is very nice too letting you know where it is in the charge cycle. The batteries also come in a plastic case so after you charge the batteries, they are kept secure and clean inside these cases that hold 2 batteries each. A very nice product that actually works as advertised.

Good charger on ac and dc, never had a bad ELB product

I have had pretty good luck with all the ELB products, both batteries and chargers. While Im not 100% sure the mah are quite as high as they say... but never the less the are great products for the price, and so far better than the typical stuff available in most stores. This ELB "quick" is a good mix of features. Each bay is individually wired so you can charge 1 or 3 batteries not the basic 2 or 4 that is needed with many off the shelf chargers. Also it safe to cHargett batteries of various mA, so if you load a Duracell 2300 mah and a EBL 2800 mah it's not a big deal... try that with a standard changer that requires 2 batteries at a time and one of the batteries will be under charged or cooked. Plus it will use 110ac or 12dc, which means you can use many sources. This charger is quicker than some of their others but nit so quick that it over heats and fries the battery life. The EBL batteries have proven well in AM/FM/SW radios and LED lights and lanterns. Not says that the EBL products are the best of the best but they are a very good product at an affordable price.

Great Charger and battery set

Probably one of the best investments I have made for my daughters music box in her nursery. We used to go through C cell batteries every other week (4 at a time) and now that we have this charger, I haven't had to buy a set of new batteries in over a year. Recommend adding extra batteries if your device uses 4 at a time so you always have some charged (I also purchased the additional 6 pack and just rotate batteries). Highly recommend!

Great charger!

This is a very versatile charger. I can charge my AA, AAA, C, 9V EBL or Panasonic Eneloops without issue. The charger is smart and will not overcharge a battery. There is also a battery recondition function which will drain the battery completely and then recharge it. I definitely feel the price I paid was more than fair. The batteries are easy to put in...simply put the AA, AAA, or C battery in while sliding down the spring loaded metal arm. It will adapt to any battery meant to be recharged. There are two additional charge hookups inside for 9V batteries as well. You can use the charger to charge multiple types of batteries at once.

Great Charger

I love this charger. It is so difficult to find a charger that will also charge 9V. (The 9V do take a while to charge but that is really not a problem.) It takes up very little space and I appreciate that the cord actually unplugs from the unit itself. I just store it inside the charger. One thing that I have done to it was to number the spaces in accordance with the lights. (See photo.) I felt it was confusing to know which was charged if you had all 4 batteries inserted. UPDATE: 4-19-16 I was having trouble with the once space always reporting as charging even though there was no battery in that slot. I contacted customer service and they were ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIC! They promptly sent me a replacement charger and a postage paid label to send back the original one.

This Charger is the best one I ever purchased

This Charger is the best one I ever purchased, if I have one complaint it would be that it doesn't hold enough batteries at one time for charging! The display is very clear it flashes when the batteries are done if you set them in incorrectly it flashes a error and you just reset them and away it goes!

Really nice to charge batteries individually (instead of 2x or 4x at a time). Also have used the recondition ability and it seems to have rehabilitated a couple batteries whose capacity was beginning to flag. ------- Update 10-25-18 -------- One of the four slots started showing always charging (even with no battery inserted - similar to another reviewer's experience). Messaged the seller about a way to reset the slot and they offered to replace the unit, even though it's been over a year since I got it. Great service!
