Protects bottles well.

Worked perfectly and protected bottles during crossing country flight. Used a wine carrier to bring 4.5L in checked baggage.

So far, so good

I often bring back specialty liquors from places I travel and after having a particular favorite shatter in my luggage a few years back, I have always used these bags. I have yet to see how the bag performs at soaking up liquid and protecting the rest of my belongings, so I'll have to get back to you on that part.

Nice product for travel

Nice product; heavy materials. Decent price for three of them. Have already traveled with one. The square top is nice for different shaped bottles/flasks and it has a sturdy zip lock closer. It apparently help at hight altitude/low pressure on airplane.

Travel Protection Policy!

A friend introduced me to these a few years ago. Ever since, every time I travel with a breakable glass bottle I use these with no fear of the contents leaking into my bag if the glass breaks. I have been lucky that I haven't had the glass break on me to see exactly how much these will absorb. However, I enjoy the peace of mind I get knowing my bottle is traveling in a Jet Bag.

Better Safe Than Sorry.

I love beer and always bring back a few bottles anytime I travel. I call these my beer diapers and they do just what you think a diaper would do keep the liquid in and your other items dry. Do not just put a bottle in the bag and just throw in luggage and your bottle will break, you will still need to pad the bottle. Sadly my last bottle broke but no leakage at all and all items in my suitcase were dry. As I had many silk shirts in my bag that would have been ruined if the bottle had not been in a Jet Bag I can say I was happy I took the extra precaution

They do not seem incredibly sturdy or protective at first glance

I purchased these bags to safely transport wine in checked luggage on a long haul flight. They do not seem incredibly sturdy or protective at first glance, however we had no issues at all with the bottles breaking or even being damaged. Some of the bottles were bubble wrapped by the store they were purchased at, however two were completely free of additional padding, and arrived in perfect condition. We did take care to pack them in the middle of the suitcase, surrounded by clothing on all sides. The bags are not bulky, so they do not take up much space when not in use. I will use these again and recommend them to others.

Beer & wine traveled safely from Belgium to U.S.

We bought 18 of these bags for a trip to Belgium and France. Each bag held a 750mL bottle of wine or beer comfortably and with some room to spare. We even put two 12oz beer bottles in a bag, and they fit a little tighter but well (with some extra padding to separate the bottles). I would definitely recommend these, as they double as insulation, absorbant material, and a plastic bag to contain any leaks. We put them in our checked luggage on the way home with no issues.
