Don't bother with thinking you'll save some money by buying some low budget 18-Volt tools... The 20 Volt DeWalt tools are like having a NASCAR, and everything else is just a Prius... Bought this set for my 23 yr old Grandson. Me, I build Movie Sets (for over 35 years), and I'm frequently on Location out in the middle of nowhere; so I have a full collection for myself. Note: 20 Volt DeWalt is the ONLY Brand you'll ever see on a Film Crew Set.

Great Deal compared to Impact Driver Alone

I was going to get just the driver - but when realized the impact tool came with just one battery, I figured that getting this combination would get me the second battery and a VSR drill at a price I couldn't beat. In this particular package, the tools were assembled in Mexico and the batteries were assembled in Japan. Bag and charger came from China. Everything works superbly - and that driver is absolutely wonderful.

Good Driver Set.

I like the convenience of a battery operated unit. I was disappointed with the impact driver because it didn’t have the power to break free the first nut I tried it on. That is unfair, because that nut was so badly rusted in place that, when I used a manual wrench, I twisted the bolt off. DeWalt is a good product with long lasting and quick charging batteries. Both of these drivers feel lighter than other units I own. They come in a convenient and strong canvas carrying case. I strongly recommend this set.

Quality tools.

Had a dewalt drill/driver handed down from my dad, which was reliable and reliable for many more years. Battery finally went so I opted for a knock off brand. Well, lets just say that I got what I paid for. My neighbor assisted me with a project and the closest driver to me after we positioned a sheet of siding, was his dewalt. After using it, I looked at the drill and realized why my dad had the dewalt. This was no weekender tool ! I took a picture of the model info, and found this combo set for a little more than the cost of just the drill. You get a carry bag, drill/driver, driver, 2 yes 2 batteries, and a charger. This tool packs a punch and is much lighter than older dewalts. Excellent, need i say anymore.

I would have bought them a long time ago if I knew how powerful these drills are! I have built many things with them, and they have never disappointed. I didn't experience any fatigue from using the drills for long periods like I have experienced working with other drills. I own several expensive brand drills, but find that I always reach for the Dewalt. The Batteries last for a very long time & they charge up fast. The drills are easy to use, and are very powerful drill set. I would highly recommend it.

Can't go wrong with Dewalt!

Purchased this drill and driver combo for my automotive shop. The batteries are long lasting which is very convenient. They provide enough power to get the job done. My guys can use this working on cars or I can use this just around the office doing fix it jobs. DEWALT is a great brand and I will stick their products. Very happy with my purchase.

Light on the end is helpful

I bought 4 of these for my shop class. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Not only do my students treat these drills/ impacts with more respect because of the brand, they are simple to use and have a helpful light on the end to allow students to see more clearly. I also love the chargers and bags that come with them as they are also of extremely high quality. They also have been used a ton in the year since I purchased them and they show no signs of wear and tear despite how often they are used.

I am so happy with those. Money well spent!

Got this kit and extra 5600mah batteries non OEM. I love Dewalt, always wanted those but didn’t want to spend the money. Well, they’re worth every penny. And they’re made to last. My neighbor makes lockers for gyms, he treats his tools like trash, and had everything. Said DeWalt is absolutely the best. Never breaks down.

My go to tool for everyday auto repairs & carpentry work

Great tool for everyday chores and repair work. Makes deck work and automotive repair much quicker. I love the impact tool, makes removing rusted fasteners easy. Purchased assorted socket extenders and metric sockets. My every day go to tool. Long lasting 20v batterys get the job done without constantly charging. No need to use pneumatic impact wrench with long air hose dragging behind you any more.

Great for the Price, but not true 20v

Order these on a whim. I needed some new Dewalt's and saw this package deal for 20v Lithium drill set. Now, I will say this - Title is slightly deceiving as it's 20v Max and 12v base. Still does the job and works extremely well!! Used it to put my 4.5" lift kit on my 92 Jeep and had no issues for the most part. Battery life is decent. For consistent pick up and use I got about a good 4 solid hours before she needed to change the battery ( That is undo a bolts, put down, line up new shackles thread on new bolts and then use dewalt to set them and lock them down). PROS: Lightweight, Great Price, Good Power (will lock on bolts super tight), Nice bag, quick charging times CONS: States 12v with 20v Max - Not a true 20v, The LED light on the Impact drill is located under the bit, makes it hard to see what you are doing above it to line something up.. Overall - For the price and what you get, I couldn't be happier! It helped me get the job done and will be using it for other jobs as well!
