I must admit I've often turned up my nose at all these little packs, figuring good ol' fashioned dish detergent was good enough for anyone. But our dishwasher detergent drawer keeps sticking, making the basic detergent next to impossible to use, and rather than replace the whole washer right now I just needed something I could drop in the silverware basket. Now, I've always liked Cascade, so these packs seemed to be the logical selection. I'm very pleased at how well they work! The combination of gel and powder allows for great scrubbing and icky stuff action, leaving my dishes looking great without any weird residue. The price is right for this selection and I will continue to use these!

Cascade wins hands down! It also works in the washing machine! I add one to each load of whites and you can really tell the difference! the Dawn added into it really takes out stains. If you get the lemon kind it takes out pit stains!

These make my life so much easier. For years, Dave has bought powder and i dreaded filling the dishwasher because it is so messy that way. I started picking up the household cleaning products and this is SOOOO worth the extra money (I know you get more bang for your buck with the powder). They work great, leave no streaks on my glasses. We won't ever go back to the messy powders!!!!

I was provided a free trial of Cascade ActionPacs. I like free stuff, but figured I would never actually buy these (without a substantial coupon) because they are more pricey than what I typically buy (Cascade or Finish liquid). However, I thought I would run a little test so I could write an honest review. I was pleasantly surprised. I put my dishes straight in the dishwasher-- no pre wash (I typically rinse first) and filled the dishwasher. Usually this results in "mostly clean" dishes. I am defining mostly clean as some stuck on cheese, etc. left over and the dreaded grit. With the Cascade Platinum ActionPacs the dishes came out clean-- I was shocked! I will suck it up and spend the money for these I the future (I will still look for those coupons though). I figure the money And time I save on pre washing and rewashing will make it worth it.

I have been using Finish D/W detergent and my daughter recommended Cascade ActionPacs because it made a huge difference in her dishes. I have been thinking about replacing my dishwasher since it really wasn't doing that good a job but, after switching to Cascade ActionPacs I think I can put that off for now. Thanks for a Wonderful Product...

I buy these every time they go on sale on Amazon; Great value with discount. Pros: 1) They do a great job of clean tough dishes. I cook Indian food and do not always pre-wash dishes before putting them in the washer. 2) Smells great. 3) Combination of liquid and powder seems to work very well. I used to use Finish tabs and they didn't clean as well. Cons: 1) Not a fan of the idea that the plastic covering of the tab melts in the dishwasher at high temp. They say it drains away, but I know some plastic residue would be left on the dishes.

It's the pack of cascade that keeps on giving. I usually buy the smaller packs (because they fit in my grocery cart), but now I find I am doing dishes all the time, so I run out so quickly. These pods are so great. You just throw one in, and push start and that's it. The scent is perfect and my dishes are just as clean as if i poured liquid in or used a powder. The larger container is a little harder to store, but i made more room because it saves me from having to reorder all the time. With the option to get these at Amazon Pantry, now i don't have to make room in my cart. Love it!

I tried to use "natural" products because I found a few that came in unscented...which I much prefer. I always hated the overly-scented products that makes my dishes retain that fake lemony smell. But after not being pleased with the cleaning and ability to cut through hard water of the "natural" products, I gave this one a try. I'm not totally in love with the scent (does this come in unscented?) but I can say this scent is much milder than others I've tried. And the cleaning ability is so much better than the "natural" products I tried that I'm kicking myself for not trying this sooner. I have no hard water build up. My glasses look crystal clear. Very pleased!

I really liked the price of these and with amazon pantry it was great to be able to pack a box with kitchen items for a flat shipping rate. I tend to switch up dish washing packets, it just seems to work better in my dish washer. Maybe I am crazy. The price was great for the big package. They work great and I generally have clean dishes. Occasionally I will have a spoon or something that is still dirty but pretty sure that isn't the dish washer packet's fault. I probably placed it right up against another spoon.

These little packets are so convenient to use. I suspect I was using too much product before by filling the cup in the dishwasher door, so this should be cost effective, and they do a great job cleaning the dishes. I'll keep buying this as long as they make it! July 11 UPDATE- I'm sorry I gave this 5 stars originally. After using it a couple of months, I noticed there is a film covering the stainless steel lining, the door, the dispenser cups on the door. So, I ran it empty with vinegar in the soap cup and on the bottom of the tub. After this cycle, the stainless steel was again shiny and the film was gone, so I did my usual load last night. Bad news, after one load the lousy white film is back. The DW company had all kinds of propaganda in the paperwork when I purchased, including strong recommendations to use Cascade. I wonder what their angle is??
