I have smoked cigarettes for roughly 18 years. At certain periods of time, cigarette intake was much higher than others, however the past few years I smoke on average less than 7 per day. Some days I have none. High stress days = having many. In the past I had tried other alternatives when it came to quitting - gum, e-cig, vape, breathing excersizes, cold turkey, etc. None of it held a candle to the wonderful feeling, almighty cigarette. My main preference for a very long time was Marlboro Reds, until the Marlboro Blacks were released. Everyone has their favorite but more often than not I treated myself to a pack of cigarettes that I was unfamiliar with. Some were good while others weren't. Even those that made you retch after having one eventually felt more tolerable by the end of the pack. It was like being an amateur cigarette connoisseur. I loved filling my palette and my lungs with all the different varieties. I love smoking. It's awesome to do. So calm and peaceful and relaxing...so good for the soul. There are so many people in my life that I wouldn't have met or things that I wouldn't have experienced if I had not been somewhere smoking a cigarette. So many times where life gets completely out of control and the weight of the world is on your shoulders, you just need that small bit of reliable relief to get you through that moment. It's awful when that moment strikes and you don't have any. You'll take anything anyone offers, even if it's not something you normally like, and you'll savor every drag. It sucks knowing that the security cigarettes provides are poison that will kill you in some terrible, painful way. Why haven't other quitting cessation methods worked for myself and the people I know? The general consensus is, "it's just not the same." The physical, habitual act of smoking is what's missing. Vaping involves mainly largish, hand held, metal smoking devices, while e-cigs just feel too heavy and clumbsy to be held normally in your mouth and your hand. Nothing beats the weightless comfortability of the soft paper against your skin, with the whirling, artitistic strokes of smoke billowing up from the cherry while simultaneously exhaling the rest out. Smoke Free has given me the ability to "have my cake and eat it too" - I can still smoke a cigarette without it actually being a cigarette. When you first open the pack, you will get a whiff of a natural, dark chocolate aroma. When lit, they give off a wood burning type of smell. I have asked a few non-smokers their thoughts on the scent and none of them found the odor anywhere near as offensive as real cigarettes. They go down smooth and burn pretty normal. To me, smoking one gave me the sensation of a cheap, ultra-light cigarette, kind of like an Exact, with an ever so slightly harsh burning quality. After having a few of them, my throat felt a little scratchy, but the feeling eventually ceased by the end of the pack. The packaging has piqued the interest of quite a few regular smokers who had never heard of such a thing, and wanted to try them. Each person took a drag filled with skepticism, and exhaled with a response of, "wow those really aren't bad at all!" They were all excited by the price too, since I live in a state where cigarettes are about $10 per pack. Despite my glowing review, I can understand why some people may not have liked these at first. Switching over to a brand or type of cigarette you don't like is hard when you have a wide assortment to access at any gas station. I won't lie, after the first couple days of Smoke Free I felt unfulfilled and missed the taste of my Marlboros. What helped me was smoking both. At first I alternated between which one to smoke, then having 2 Smoke Frees and 1 Marb, eventually to 1 Marlboro per day, to the point where I tapered myself off of real cigarettes while developing a familiar taste and bond with Smoke Free. It's been a couple weeks now with Smoke Free and I'm doing just fine. I was given a real cigarette last week and although I was still mentally accustomed to the brand and taste, I physically did not feel great after having it. I don't know anybody who picked up their first cigarette and didn't think it was disgusting and gross. Some of you, like me, may have even dry heaved or vomited their first time. For whatever reason though, we all kept doing it and got used to it. Your first reaction to Smoke Free may not be the most enjoyable, but it should certainly not make you feel revolted or sick. These have been a god-send in my life. It's nice to feel free from cigarettes and experience all the positive changes your body makes when you quit, all while still being able to smoke what still feels like the real thing.

These things really are amazing! They helped me quit smoking!

Finally quit after 30 years of smoking cigarettes and these helped make it possible! They are the closest thing I found to cigarettes, close enough to get me through the worst cravings. Thank you!

These are not tobacco cigarettes, they do not taste like tobacco. They taste a little like coco. And smoke. They smoke just like a regular cigarette. It is the best alternative that I have found, take that from someone who has quit 5 times over 20 years (and who has been smoking for 45). I once quit for 5 years. I have tried e-cigs, patches, gum, you name it. Acupuncture. Hypnosis. Pot. Everything. I truly believe that, had I had these, I would have only quit nicotine once and successfully. It completely gratifies the urge to draw smoke. I will use patches for a short time to help with the nicotine, but my main addiction is the drawing smoke. These will work for me, and thank you.

Helped me quit smoking!!!!! No offensive smell for people around you. Taste is nice and mild. No "burn" in your throat. Definitely recommend you try them for those times when you just need the activity of smoking. Nicotine free!!!

Quick review Summary: The best substitute for a "real" cigarette out there!! I've been smoking for over ten years. I was skeptical because of the reviews, but honestly I don't understand why these don't have better reviews. Compared to the herbal cigs (which are DISGUSTING) these are the closest your going to get to an actual cigarette. Now let's talk differences. First comparison: E-cigs. I've tried every brand of 0 nicotine e-cig out there. Right off the top this beats any e-cigarette if you need that habitual spark up, light, and genuine cig drag. E-cigs are heavy. They taste a bit weird, but that's something I can get past. E-cigs don't fit in between your fingers like a normal cigarette thus leading me right back to my actual cigarettes. Pointless and hundreds of dollars in the drain. These cigarettes at least promise the feel and habitual spark up that e-cigs never can. Herbal cigarettes: I've tried the ginseng and other herbal cigarettes. They are DISGUSTING. Enough said. I couldn't make it through the whole pack. Again, money wasted. Lead me right back to my old pack of cigs. Now these Cocoa bean cigarettes: I first got the pack and after trying everything I could out there. Vaping, e-cigs, herbal cigarettes and other methods. I was EXTREMELY skeptical. I look at the carton and they look a bit small. As I open the carton and bring the "cigarette" to my face it smells like chocolate. I spark up and take my first drag. I was so impressed that my husband asked to try and let me say! He's been smoking for far longer and is way picky when it comes to alternatives and we both concluded these alternative cigarettes are the closest thing you can get to the actual cigarette. My husband has even tried gum, patches and other alternative cigarettes. His only complaint was he wished there was more chocolate flavor. It took two of us sharing one Cocoa bean cigarette about ten minutes to finish one. The density is amazing. I don't know if they changed things up, but I'm not sure why anyone says they burn quickly. The pack has twenty "cigs" and I think that's great. At least I'm also getting the same amount a real pack has to offer. No cherries falling off and burning you while you're driving almost causing an accident (true story with those herbal alternatives). These burn evenly and smooth. Overall 5 star review from me. Conclusion: Unless you've smoked the same kind of cigarettes for years and deep down inside aren't ready to quit, these cigarettes are a wonderful alternative. Sure, they could have more flavor, but overall these alternative cigarettes are a great choice to quitting. They give you that habitual smoking feel, the taste is great and I can actually commit to these and will absolutely be buying more of these! I'm so impressed!!!!! (This review is not paid, but I will say if the company is willing to sign me up for any advertisement or reviews I'd be down!) :D In all seriousness. Buy these. If you're seriously ready to quit.

I quit smoking and needed something to fall back on in case of emergencies when I drink alcohol. In the past I've started smoking full time again and it all started with the cigarettes I smoked when drinking. I always envied those people who could just smoke when they drink. I really do like the act of smoking and the socialization aspect to it. I simply hate being dependent on it all the time like I was. It was truly a drug addiction. I didn't feel good unless I had my routine cigarettes, but what I didn't realize is that the cigarettes were making me feel worse once they wore off which made me "need" another just to feel somewhat "normal". All that being said I tried the other brand made in the U.K. "Honeyrose". I tried the variety pack and every one of the varieties smelled strongly of rotting fish and on top of that they tasted awful and burned very quickly. I went to a bar one night and many people in the bar were talking about the awful smell of the Honeyrose smokes I was smoking. Luckily they couldn't pinpoint that it was my smokes causing it. Some even suspected it was being caused by illicit drugs like meth because they hadn't smelled meth before and it scared them that someone was getting high off meth in the bar. Seeing these had a lower rating, but desperately needing a good alternative I decided to give them a try and lo and behold they are FANTASTIC! They smell like chocolate before you smoke them (which is awesome) and they taste pretty good too! Also, they take longer to burn as opposed to the Honeyrose brand. These are a true winner in my book and I can't believe all the low ratings (I'm guessing they are fake). I haven't tried to actually quit smoking with these they are just a crutch when I have lower inhibitions and can't turn down a smoke.

I have been a smoker for 21 years. I started in December with Chantix, but it made my mental illness magnified, I became very suicidal. So then I tried the nicotine patches, then the gum but nothing worked. I havent smoked in 1 week. These have helped me so much! It doesn't taste too bad, kinda nice after taste. I didn't even finish the pack. I just stopped going outside and I just kinda forgot about cigarettes. THESE WORK! I'm in shock that these made such a difference.

Outstanding product! This is the only thing that has helped me quit smoking tobacco. No offensive odor, smooth taste and lasts a long time. The owner answered all of my questions and I am 110% thankful for his help.

The first draw is strong and taste like paper but after that it's fine , This is the best thing I have found to replace the real thing not like the real cigarette but close enough to do the job if you are ready to quit .The small amount of tar can be eliminated by using the tar bar tips the tar can be seen in the tip. I got my first box yesterday and highly recommend this product. I am a smoker of 46 years I have been trying to quit for the past 2 years and have tried numerous other products but non were anything close to SMOKE FREE I now know I am smoke free for good ,
