Performs as well as the $25 auto parts store bulbs
I was skeptical based on other reviews, but also tired of paying $50 for a 2-pack of bulbs at the parts store. I run my headlights every time I drive, so that becomes a frequent purchase. I have been running these bulbs about 2 months so far, and other reviews said they should be dead by now. Mine are still great, good color and projection. Will definitely buy a stock of these for all of our vehicles.

Hella bright!
Installation was simple and headlights are, well, hella bright. AutoZone was charging nearly four times the price for a Sylvania equivalent, so I'm chalking up another steal here, courtesy of Amazon.

Love the color and visibility given off! Stoked!
Just got them for my 2016 Hyundai Veloster Turbo and installed a couple days ago... so far super good! The low yellow light at the day for drl's is perfect and I think a cool match for our blue halos and ribbon leds... THEN you switch on high beams and the bright yellow iluminates everything in front of you like R.Kelly is making it rain down from the heavens! Went on a spirited run the night I put them in through a canyon and could see everything all ahead of me for a long while, the color combo with our low beams still on make these a really satisfying color for driving site wise and also car looks wise!.. big fan and would get again! Assuming they last and don't need to for a few years! Love them! Buy then for your H7 drl/bright lights now!!!

Good value
This bulb was a good value to replace a headlamp that had burned out. The size fit perfectly to replace an OEM bulb. The brightness seems appropriate and very close to or the same as the bulb it is replacing.

Good bulb for the price.
Nice bulb. Installed on driver's side in a 2011 Miata. Looks brighter than stock bulb, comparing with passenger side. Clumsy me dropped the bulb on the floor trying to clip it in. After cleaning it with some rubbing alcohol, it looks to be working fine so far. If it goes out prematurely, will probably order the same thing, but be more careful installing it.

Less expensive, better quality
H7 white 55w headlights compared to a stock incandescent (yellowish) bulb on the upper left and a white LED on the upper right. Hella is an extremely reputable company founded in Germany in 1899. These lights reflect that. Bright clean white. FAR less expensive than competitive products yet with the same or superior quality!

Purchased the H7 version to use in the high-beam positions (2014 Hyundai Veloster which has 4-headlight system). When I switch high-beams on I get the bright yellow from these Hellas over the white light of the low-beams (low-beams use Osram Nightbreakers). For myself I find this a good combination. The yellow coating on the glass envelope still allows very strong light output. The color of the light is yellow, not amber, IMO. Not everyone might see the advantage of this in the high-beam positions. It is a matter of comfort, perception and maybe how your eyes sense the color. For myself this works well. Life is unknown, I have not had them long, but Hella products have a good reputation, so I'm optimistic.

Replaced a Philips super vision plus max edge ultra bulb that costs over twice as much and supposed to work better but already died after one year. This light works as good as the philips. You just don't pay for the marketing frills.

I am so glad I found these and purchased them instead of trying the Sylvania again. I hope they last longer because my TDI Jetta eats bulbs and I went through 4-5 sets of the Philips and Sylvania bulbs. But I do have 350K miles so I guess that's about 50-60K per bulb.

Very yellow. Great to use in the high beams of my motorcycle as I use the highs during day time riding for cars to notice my approach better. Recommend to all riders out there to use yellow.
