Non kinking, heavy duty--should last forever water hose
This is the first time I have invested (yes, it's pricey) in a hose of this quality. It is a bit heavier than what I'm used to (especially when full of water), but there are no trips to keep un-kinking the hose. I have used this hose several times now and am quite pleased with it. I pull it out as far as I need then work away. When I move and it starts getting heavy, then I stop and pull a bunch of the hose to my work area and continue. I have used it to spray weed-killer on my yard; pressure wash my house and several other home owner chores. I lock this hose in my shed; the old hoses are now cosmetic decorations near my spigots (I can't bring myself to tossing them when they still work, sort of). I have it mounted on a heavy duty rolling hose cart so I can easily move it around, then roll it up quickly. This hose is heavy, so I wouldn't recommend a light weight (cheap) holder--I spent around $50 for one at my local home improvement store.

Strong, attractive hose, that really never kinks!
I have had many garden hoses and this one is beyond a doubt the best! Folks ask what color it is I'd say it is somewhere between copper and candy apple red. It has silver stripes mad out of a diamond shape pattern running down it's sides. It looks good, better still it really never kinks. One review suggested laying it out so I did that. It came exactly as pictures wrapped in a coil--no kinks. It is very strong. The fittings are extremely well made. I liked this one so much I ordered a second one. This is a really great hose. I just coil it up when I'm done, no container or rack. It comes in different sizes so you can get exactly what you want. It really is extra heavy duty--made to work hard and last!

its a hose, it does the job. Its long but according to the warnings dont drink from it!
I bought this on an Amazon deal of the day. I had been looking at them at Lowe’s and other places and wasn’t quite sure if I wanted one. But when they came up on deal of the day I decided why not! I really couldn’t buy a 75 foot hose cheaper anywhere else. Came in with good speed and well packaged (as normal for Amazon) and decided to go wash my car. The ends are fairly well designed. Not perfect but better than the generic green garden hose. Hose nozzle fit on no leakage or spectacular failures either. The grey is somewhat reflective also. But honestly they do kink to some degree though admittedly they are far heavier than most brick and mortar store hoses. I did have to have laugh at the warning on the back of the label though. I will leave a photo of the back of it.

I've been searching for a perfect hose for a long time
I've been searching for a perfect hose for a long time. Being an avid gardner I hate hoses that kink so when I saw this hose I had to give it a try. I was skeptical, but after using this hose nearly every day for 2 months I am giving it my highest recommendation! I've tried my best to kink this thing while pulling it around my garden but the kinks just pop right out! I loved it so much I bought 2! Thanks for such a great product and it's made in the USA!

So non-kink I forgot how irritating kinking was
My "yard" is almost 300 feet long and 200 feet wide. We generally use xeric methods but when we have dry periods or are trying to start new plants, we use irrigation. I have these hoses in series of 2 100's plus a 50' or 75' and never have any problems with them. They were emptied but stored outside last winter and were just great this spring. One of them got cut by a snow plow but I was able to repair it in a snap using the Gardena hose repair kit. The most important thing to say about these hoses is that they are so no-kink I had forgotten what a pain hoses were. I recently purchased some for potable water (these are not) and by golly, hoses kink! These don't.

Buy this hose!
Ya know, you'd think there wouldn't be much you could say for a garden hose, but I have to say.... Over many years I've bought plenty and well, they were what they were. This is a great hose! It does not kink up (my last one from HD which 'promised' not to kink -always kinked). The threads at both ends seal accordingly with ease; absolutely zero leak, even when left "charged" over night. Mine came in a red color which is great; it's quite clear where it is in the grass and you're trying not to pull it over some obstacle. Never before has a hose made be think, "boy that was easy to use; so nice to not water me rather than the lawn". My only slight regret is not getting the longer one! -but that's on me. Maybe it's a couple bucks more but the lack of any annoyance in using it is so worth it!

Great hose, cool burgundy color
There are a lot of reviewers who must either be first time hose buyers or just not very thoughtful. The hose is pliable. If it’s cold outside then it’ll be more stiff. If it’s difficult to roll up, lay your rubber hose in the sun for a couple hours, it’ll soften. This is a rubber hose, that’s how rubber works. The black plastic hose-saved piece on the faucet end does a good job of keeping stress off of the hose connection. That stress is what makes the hose female connectors leak or even pull out of the hose sometimes. Campers are notorious for breaking these; 99% of the time it’s their own fault but they always blame the hose. This is not a drinking water hose, I got it for washing the car. It rolled right up and looks great doing it. A bargain at $20 for the 50’ length. Soon I’ll be purchasing a drinking water hose. Don’t get me started on those campers who hook the hose to their camper’s fresh water intake valve (which makes the hose stick straight out from their camper, not downward) and then keep the water running 24/7, and they don’t use a recommended, brass angle adjuster piece or flexible short hose-saver to keep the stress off of the hose’s end, then post up negative reviews of the hose failing. Stay tuned for that review. As for this hose, buy with confidence. It’s a good hose.

Pleased with purchase Teknor Apex NeverKink 8642-50, Extra Heavy
They say guaranteed not to kink or tangle and it has not done either, I have another brand of hose that only lasted one year and has already kinked (also a non kink hose) and I have already written them about it and have done nothing to replace as of yet, but the NeverKink hose is doing well even under some brutal use and very high temperatures outside at about 106 degrees, other hoses during these temperatures and this soft a hose would of burst already, I've pulled on it tight and yanked on it and still it works and not bursting, best hose I've had so far for the money, I plan on buying another one if the other hose company does not send a replacement, I have even had contractor hoses that have not lasted very long as well

The only hose I'll purchase from this point forward
Standard for all my reviews: When reviewing products, I always remain objective and honest about the product or service. I always review with information that I feel others would like to know about the product as I always assume what I'm writing will influence for or against the purchase. I always try to go above and beyond surface characteristics and input into quality, value and application. Most importantly, I will always end the review with an answer as to whether I'd purchase the product again which I believe is the most critical question pertaining to the item. To manufacturers: Want me to review your items, just let me know! I bought one of these hoses years ago and wish I had purchased two. In that time I needed another hose and purchased one from the "depot" that said it wouldn't kink. It was horrible. In fact, every hose I've ever purchased at a retail establishment has been an exercise in sheer frustration. Finally, I stormed upstairs, found the "NeverKink" and ordered another one like I should have done before. It showed up and I couldn't be happier. The NK hose is a narrower (5/8") hose and not as wide in diameter as some, but that is part of the solution as well. It's very sturdy and you'd be hard pressed to kink it. I keep our hoses on a roll up device and this hose has never failed me. It's hard to get overly excited by a hose but it's one of those things that you should be able to take for granted, it's not rocket science. It's solid at each end with leaking (meaning that it doesn't leak) and the durability is great. End your frustration, buy this hose and thank me later.

This Is A Strong, Well Made Hose!
I waited a while before reviewing this because I wanted to see how it held up. So far I'm very impressed. The diameter is large, more like one full inch than the stated 5/8. It holds pressure very well even in hot weather when I've forgotten to turn off the water and it sits all day with the spray nozzle switched closed.
