Great product!

I have been using SR Biotin for over 6 months now. I purchased it as a recommendation from my doctor as my fingernails keeps splitting. This did the trick. Amazing how much healthier my nails are now. I found that 10,000mcg is needed however so had to take two of the 5000 initially but have since purchased SR's 10,000mcg capsules. Works great!

Really helps thin hair

I took 10,000mcg for 1 1/2 months. I could not believe the difference in my hair. It was thicker and fuller. My hairdresser noticed without my saying anything. She is now recommending to all who complain of thin hair. I do have thyroid testing twice a year. Luckily I had read articles on false TSH with Biotin. So when my test was a little off doctor researched and ran T3 & T4 which were fine. I am now taking 5,000 mcg. I have recommended to two other friends with thin hair complaints. Both are now buying product and say it makes a difference.

I fell in love with this product

2016 was the first time when I started using this product. I fell in love with this product. I love coconut, but now I love your coconut biotin which is easier to take in the morning or before meal. My hair is looking so good now, I’m taking it 2 years for now and wouldn’t stop. Thank you for a great product. I haven’t seen better biotin than this one. I don’t have any redness on my skin after using this or something. It’s just a good supplement to help your body get a great support.

Amazing

I'm almost done with my second bottle and figured it was high time for a review. I take double the dose (so two pills total) in the morning with my other medication before I head to work and get absolutely zero heartburn (I mention that because I've had repeating and heart burn issues with other high potency nail/hair vitamins). My first bottle I took double pills for the first month then a single pill a day. Second bottle I've taken 2 pills per day. I haven't noticed any results with my hair, but to be fair my hair was already down to my butt and I cut it shoulder length, but I haven't noticed any faster or thicker growth which is fine by me anyway. The real reason why I take this is for my nails. They have been weak and soft, with my layers constantly splitting and separating, my entire life. After the first month of taking these pills I noticed a difference and could tell that the layer coming from under my cuticle was growing thicker than the rest of the nail. There was an actual noticeable (to me) hump as they grew in and I cut my nails back to to the free edge because the old growth was splitting and the layers were peeling back into the nail plate. After another month the damage grew out enough for me to cut the previously split layers off and smooth the entire nail down and now after almost five months of total usage I can use a nail file to free up any ragged edges and just buff the top smooth and I don't have to worry about my nails at all. My nails still bend slightly, especially after a shower or doing the dishes, but they are much thicker than before, and they rarely crack and they don't peel. Amazing.

A little over a month's difference. My hair feels thicker & is visibly longer! I didn't take it consistently. Thumbs up for sure!

Want to stop loosing hair try these vitamins

My review is more like a comparison. I had been using another brand (from Walmart) for years. I like them as my eyelashes had grown and so did my nails. But something inside my head told me there’s got to be better biotin vitamins out there as I started loosing a lot of hair. So I ordered this vitamins and I couldn’t be happier within a week I noticed I was hardly loosing any more hair. My nails are growing twice as fast as before and they seem to be stronger. I will definitely keep buying these vitamins. Try them you won’t regret it.

I think it's working

Okay, so I posted a picture of my haircut in July 9th 2018... then another picture from October 27th 2018... I had a trim somewhere in between there. I have been taking these biotin supplements since September 9th and today is November 2nd. So almost two months I've been taking them. My hair grows so slow. I definitely feel though that I have gained some length going from chin/shoulder length to well past shoulder length in this time frame. I take one supplement every single day. I don't know if it's actually helping my hair grow but you can see it definitely has grown so I'm giving this 5 stars and will continue to keep taking them.

Amazed on how well this worked!

Love this product! I had been suffering from thinning hair for 6 months or so, and I finally decided to try something new. Between using coconut oil directly on my hair and taking another supplement to help hair growth, there is no comparison on how much better this biotin softgel is! I started to see a difference in as little as 2 weeks! My hair was no longer falling out as much in the shower and I began to see baby hairs growing in where my hair was thinning. I'm glad to have found a product that actually works. Even other people are noticing that my hair is growing back which definitely gives me a confidence boost because I was beginning to be self conscious on the very visible thinning areas of my head. I started with taking the one 5,000 mcg pill for the first week and decided to up it to taking 2 per day and I couldn't be happier. AMAZING!!!

Absolutely amazing!!! I paired it with the Sports Research Vitamind D (5000) and it completely stopped the MASSIVE hair loss I was experiencing for months and I can see inches of baby hair growing! Honestly I would cry in the shower seeing how much hair I was losing! I went to a doctor and found out my vitamin d levels were extremely low so I’m very happy with the quality of this product. Note, I was taking 2 a day in the morning so the bottle lasted 2 months. So it took a few weeks for the hair loss to stop and a few more for the hair to grow. Pics show 8-9 week difference! OH! I did not have any skin problems with it but I believe the vitamin d helped with that too!

Very good biotin

Sports research makes a very good biotin at a reasonable price. The pills are easy to swallow and don't give me indigestion like some other biotin pills do. I took these for three months and definitely had some hair and nail growth from this biotin. But, if you can afford to spend a little more, a much more complete hair loss pills is Propidren Propidren DHT Blocker with Saw Palmetto to Prevent Hair Loss and Stimulate Hair Follicles to Stop Hair Loss and Regrow Hair - it is a bit pricey but works much better than biotin alone, works better than even many prescription hair loss products I have tried.
