Awesome!
This is my first slow cooker and l absolutely love it! The fact that you can take out the cooking pan and put it on the stove top is just awesome and makes less to clean up. I've cooked 5 meals in it so far and in surprised at how easy it is to clean. I'm living by myself and I love how l can cook and freeze the leftovers, so easy!

Browning on the stove in the same pan!! SOLD!
I love this crock pot! The fact that I can brown meat on the stove in the same pan that goes into the crock pot shell is just awesome. That pan is also very easy to clean compared to a traditional ceramic crock pot insert. The whole thing is much lighter weight than my other crock pot too. I really like the keep warm setting and the digital controls. It's a keeper!

Let me tell you, I've been through two slow cookers in less than a year because I keep breaking the crock when I wash it after use. They are so heavy and hard to handle. So I decided, no more, I'm getting a slow cooker with a metal pot. So I ordered this one and I could not be happier. The food cooks exactly the same as the cooker with a ceramic pot, except for one thing. When it's time to clean up, the pot is so much lighter and easier to handle. I will never go back to ceramic pots. This is the way to go.

A Great Crock-pot
I was afraid to buy this crock-pot thinking how could it work both on stove and as a crock-pot. Well i have to say I am amazed and very happy with this pot. I've used it six times now and I wonder how I lived without it. One of my husband's favorite dishes is chili and with my old crock-pot i would cook the meat and add everything in the large pot to get it hot before i put it in the crock-pot. That is all eliminated and I simply brown meat, onions and seasonings then, while on the stove, I add the beans and tomato items. Then just slip it into the crock-pot container. i have had no problem with the teflon coating as i use plastic type utensils. As a caregiver this has been very handy and also much lighter and easier to clean.

easy to set, easy to clean up, reliable cooking
this was a gift to my daughter and she hasn't stopped raving about it. she loves the programmable feature as she works and can serve her family a meal soon after she gets home. it's super easy to clean and easy to use. highly recommended! in fact, my pot is getting creaky and i'm thinking of getting one of these for myself.

Has just about every option you can ask for
I've used this once and browned onions/garlic/meat on stovetop (gas stove) first, then put in the crockpot with other ingredients for the day. It worked amazing! Very pleased with the stovetop browning option. I'm still giving this 5 stars, however, the one option I also looked for, and didn't find, was the lid lockdown feature that many crockpots have. I also like that it sets itself to Warm, when the timer is done. Very pleased with this purchase!

I don't use it too often, but when I do, I have no complaints. It's convenient to be able to brown food (or saute onions, etc) on the stove top with it, then transfer to the slow cooker. Size is good for just the 2 of us as well (never too much food as the rest can refrigerate for lunch the next day). I am confident leaving this overnight while sleeping, although the kitchen smells like food when we wake up (doesn't hold all the smells inside, but that's probably a good thing). I also prefer this digital timer to a non-digital one, and it automatically switches to 'keep warm' when finished cooking.

Best Slow Cooker Ever
I love love love this cooker. It's oval and about as long as an average breadbox - see one of my photos. It really isn't heavy considering how well it's made. It makes the crock pots we used to cook with seem like an open cook fire and a cast iron skillet. Not that there's anything wrong with that. But this little darlin' is the bomb! You can remove the inner part to actually brown your meat on the stove top. Never lose juices that way. Then place it back in the lovely stainless cooker to start our meal. The removable part cleans like a cloud. It's so durable and non-stick! I cook a pretty large roast in it and have plenty of room for veggies. I have cooked a whole bone in chicken in here too. It's oval design makes it better for large meats and bigger stews and chili servings. Two cooking levels - low and high. It can also be set to keep things warm when they are done with the cooking process. Super for stuff that gets done cooking before you get home or when you are eating out of it for an afternoon of football or a party. I can't recommend this cooker enough.

Overall I love this crockpot and I am very very happy with ...
Pros:1. You can brown in the crockpot pot reducing the use of an extra pot. 2. If you add ingredients you take the crockpot pot out of the crockpot place it back on the stove to heat to boiling and then replace into crockpot reducing cooking time and time in the risky food safety temperature zone. 3. It’s not a Teflon type non stick but rather a sprayed on ceramic type material which is also non stick. (See the product description). Cons: the handles get hot so be sure to use oven mitts. Overall I love this crockpot and I am very very happy with my purchase!

Time Time Time is on your Side!
Just did my first corned beef....house smells wonderful. Now I can set a more precise time. Old pot only had 2-6-8 hours timing, but this one allows for any times in increments of 30 minutes. Two heat levels. And next week, I'm going to use this metal bottomed pot to sear my pork chops before slow cooking them. What a smart feature!
