These UPS's are great! I use them at home and at work. Has built-in Sine-Wave protection so it monitors incoming electrical signals and modulates them on the fly to provide the correct and constant voltage to your electronics all the time. Great for storm-prone areas, TV's Computers and all kinds of electronics. Not only that but it is stackable! You can purchase additional battery modules and get more power for more devices or more power hungry devices.

I was looking for a high VA UPS and this one was the most reasonably priced with good reviews. Four years later and it's still going strong on the original batteries. I'm thinking about ordering replacement batteries. Not because there's anything wrong with the original batteries, but because I can't imagine that these batteries will last forever. It's been running 24/7/365 for nearly that entire time. I keep an assortment of network equipment and a home media server plugged into it. It's gotten me through many power outages and ensured that I continue to have internet access.

My power is fiicky at best and after loosing data and my place in games from brown outs I figured it was time to upgrade to a battery backup. I did a little research and after hearing the popular brands quality was slipping (erhm, APC), I looked elsewhere and found cyberpower had some decent products out there. I needed something to keep up with a gaming rig running full tilt for more than five minutes so I decided on this. Pricey yes, but it has saved me several times. I've run my 42" HDTV and 1200watt gaming system off of it for over a half hour when I reached a decent save point. My internet box has a battery backup also so no worries there. I was surprised at the weight of the system, I guess to keep cost down they used lead acid batteries. They're easy to change out with a panel in the front, no major disassemble needed. In all I'm overjoyed this system lived up to my expectations and then some. The only hiccup I came across is the power cord as it's designed for a 20amp outlet. They sell the conversion cords to a 15amp outlet here, though one can be made for a few dollars worth of materials from lowes and any high amperage power cord while you wait for the unit to arrive. That way you can custom make it for the length you need, and the plug end can chosen based on space restrictions.

I bought my Cyberpower UPS in October of 2012 - now, 6 months later, I need to say how pleased I am with the performance of this unit. I've primarily used APC in the past and considered using them again. This time, however, the feature set of this unit seemed to provide (more bang for the buck). I can say that I am not disappointed with the performance of the unit in my area where thunderstorms are frequent and power disruptions and surges are almost as frequent. In the past 30 days, this unit has saved me twice. Connected to my Panasonic Viera AND Denon Receiver as well as the cable DVR and the telephone...it has performed above and beyond my expectations. When the fans kick on, it's loud, there is no doubt about that...but the fans don't run forever and under normal circumstances it just sits there doing what it does best - saving my equipment. If there is anything I can say that might be construed as negative - it would be that I can't turn off the blue LED display screen (as far as I know) and that has a tendency to light up the room at night ... something I don't like. A wide piece of black electrical tape has remedied that issue! I do not hesitate to recommed this UPS to anyone thinking of using it for home theater protection.

Awesome and silent operations. Reads out power fluctuations in Volts ie 118 - 121, shows battery level, ready and first time power out ran a small office voice, data, server, firewall and router with ease. And, its expandeable to add more batteries if needed. Buy it!

I've used this model before so knew the specs were what I needed. This is one of 2 UPS I have in my server cabinet and it gives me a solid 20 minutes to bring down my PowerEdge730xd and NAS properly. As others have said, the mounting that came with it is for the front only and it's way too heavy to trust those supports, so I use a shelf. I bought new and it did have some cosmetic damage to the case. I contacted Amazon and they immediately worked with me to resolve this offering me several options. I was very impressed with the customer service - they went out of their way to resolve this fast and I'm very happy with the purchase.

Installed this on an equipment controller to give power protection and battery backup during outages. It was to replace an aging smaller unit from another manufacturer. I must say, I am impressed with the build quality and ease of deployment for the unit. It is very impressive. Simple plug in setup for my application, and when the power cuts, it reacts more quickly than the last unit, and the equipment shows absolutely no fluctuation, which is much, much better than the last unit. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I bought the first one to keep my wifi and NAS up and running when our power goes out for the occasional 15-90 mins. Then I purchased the second one to run my entertainment system for the same reason. They are pretty responsive to everything except a real quick power bump. Because my loads are well under the unit power rating these unit will allow me up to about 90 minutes to get the electronics completely off if the power get real erratic.

After installation, has been working like a charm. The 'stress test' to commission the UPS went without a hitch, and even showed greater reserve capacity than had been calculated. Very pleased with the purchase.
