We have a larger floor playmat, but I purchased this one to travel. As it turns out, we use this one much more often around the house. It is super easy to fold up and move out of the way. The trick is to push down on the middle mechanism while turning the knob to collapse it. We got it when our infant was 2.5 months, she has loved it for the past 2 months and plays on it every day. I do wish the mirror was less distorting - sometimes she gets upset at the mirror and I have to remove it. No big deal, she has other baby mirrors to engage with.

I debated on this for awhile! I looked at many different baby play gyms and mats. I read reviews and finally decided to give this one a shot. I'm SO happy with this product and it's only been two days. But my baby just loves it! It's really easy to snap together and to take apart. I LOVE the fact you can break it down with one hand! Just push twist and bam it's compact to take to another room. I do place something underneath for a little more cushion ( we have wood flooring). But I think the mat is well cushioned for the money. Also the mat is slippery which other reviews mentioned, making it tough for a baby to get their footing. However, this material is easy to clean! My baby is almost 3 months old and is having a blast. Plenty of room to scoot around or roll over. It comes with cute toys and their are links to add your own. Also it came with a small pillow for tummy time or to prop behind their tiny head. I bought the classic boy version but it would be great for a girl. I find that design to be unisex because it's just vibrant fun colors. For the price this product is awesome! . Hope this helps anyone that was indecisive. :)

My baby took a couple weeks to warm up to this toy, but around the age of 1 month she started to fall in love with it. At 3 months she still enjoys it. She can bat and grab at the hanging toys. The rattle, crinkling, and clanking of the plastic rings is still fascinating to her. The soft surface of the mat is good for tummy time. And the gym as a whole is lightweight, easy to clean, and convenient for tossing out of the way when you need to clear the floor. Happy, engaged baby, a little free time for mom, a good investment.

This was one of the cheaper priced play mats so I did not know what to expect. Once I received it, it turned out to be a great product! Very durable material. The mat is padded and the material is not scratchy. The plush animal toys (not hard plastic like most toys on a playmat) even detach and you can bring them along with you to entertain your baby. You can even attach the stuffies onto your child's car seat handle. Easy store and take on a trip since the bars can easily fold up. Great for a baby to learn tummy time!

We LOVE this. Our home basically looks like it belongs to the baby and he lets us stay here. I love that we can collapse it at the end of the day and reclaim a few feet of adult space. My fave things about it: -It collapses and opens easily enough to do it one handed if you're holding your baby. -It's super easy to pull apart for washing -You can buy different toys to hang (in packs of 3). We like to rotate the toys out so our baby doesn't get bored. -We can travel easily with it because it folds up and secures with velcro We learned quickly that if we put the baby down in it at a diagonal so his feet could kick the base of one of the arches he could shake his own toys. Then we'd just helicopter him around each corner when he started to get bored with the view. So by the time our baby was about 5 weeks old he could entertain himself under this for a good 15 minutes at a time. Now, at 12 weeks, he'll hang out playing with the toys for a half hour or longer. We hang the toys at the high setting when he's laying in it and move them to the low setting (attaching the mirror to the base of one of the arches) to do tummy time. Works like a charm!

I think I spent more time researching baby play gyms than I'd like to admit. I needed something big enough to fit two babies, foremost. This gym fit the bill in comparison to some of the round-shaped gyms. The material comes clean easily and doesn't attract pet hair (a big deal for us). The colors ans patterns are pleasing to look at (we went with the "vintage boys" design). The toys are good for sensory purposes. They rattle, crinkle, have rings for pulling, and rubber for teething. There's also a mirror. It's flexible and the reflection is warped, but that's to be expected in a baby toy, I suppose. I also loved that you can adjust the arms to either a dome or tepee shape. I had considered a considerably more pricey gym just because it resembled a tepee, but am glad I found this instead. My older kids like to drape a light blanket on top when they play with the babies. Mostly, I like to get this gym was fairly inexpensive. The quality is great, and I don't feel as though anything is lacking based on the price. Overall, Pros: Price Easy to clean material Toys perfect for sensory purposes Colors not too "babyish" Toys can be removed and washed More/different toys can be added Arms can adjust to two different styles Cons: Pillow is same slick material as the mat, so it slips out from under a wiggly baby. Could be improved by being attached to the mat. Arms can be difficult to adjust. It took some time and effort to figure out you have to push down before twisting the lever to release the arms. Mirror reflection is warped (not a con for us but could be for others)

After only using this a month, his strength has changed remarkably! He was only happy on his back before we got this, now he enjoys tummy time and has become strong enough to hold his head up for long periods of time, he's learned to turn over to get to his toys, he's gained enough strength from using this that he's almost able to sit alone (he's very close) and he's also scooching forward on his tummy to reach things. He will be crawling soon. It's been amazing watching how fast he's developed these skills. He was completely fascinated from the moment he was first placed under the arch. It's easy to travel, spot cleans well and the toys have shown durability so far. We're over the moon for this play mat and so is he!

My daughter loves this mat. She can entertain herself for a good 15 minutes on this thing. The material on the bottom can easily wipe off if your baby spits up like mine does. It washes well I would recommend cold and gentle cycle and air dry. You can also add other toys to it if you want like I did. The play mat comes with two different heights you can attach the toys to one higher and one lower on the legs. It was super easy to put together too. The little pillow that comes with it is perfect to put under your baby when they are doing tummy time. It helps because it lifts them off the ground a little making them want to raise their neck up.

My factor things about this baby mat is that you are able to retract it once your baby is bored of it or asleep. I have mine placed in the living room but it makes its way around the apartment! Watching my son play on it, is absolutely amazing! I can see him staring at all the colors and patterns on the mat, he reaches up and grabs not only the accessories but the sides themselves. It’s too funny watching him stare at himself in the littler mirror. So far he’s had one spit accident and I was able to clean it with no issues as it didn’t stain. The only thing I would say I don’t like is the pillow, he just doesn’t care for it, it’s hard and I can’t figure out how to make it stay attached to the mat. Other than that my son is happy and that’s all that matters to me.

I use it in addition to the bigger baby mat on top of my 5X7 area rug. I didn’t want to spend $80 or more for an infant item my kid will use for, at most, 5 months. I was looking for a play mat less than $40, but the cheaper ones looked small. Pros: 1. $39.99 seems reasonable to me. 2. It comes with a mirror toy-babies love these, 4 hanging animals and a soft “pillow” 3. Size is just right. Lightweight. 4. Playmat is soft. No funky smell upon opening the item. (I think I didn’t even bother to wash it first before using it- although that’s what I’d usually do) 5. The quilt pattern really fascinated my 6month old! He just learned to do “cobra pose”(sorry, yoga term) when we got this. 6. It has an “easy fold” option, which is really cool when your home is has been dominated by baby furniture/toys/clutter. Cons: 1. None for me! Thanks Amazon!
