Originally received this toy as a baby shower gift a year ago, bought this one as a replacement after the other one stopped playing music. This is one of our daughter's favorites~ she has Down Syndrome and this keeps her attention for several minutes at a time. Our favorite go-to toy to calm her when she cries.

Baby granddaughter loves it!

I gifted this to my granddaughter when her mother did not seem to get why the baby would like it. My kids all had a toy similar to this that I scraped on the handle of their car seat or stroller and all four of them loved it including my grand babies mother. My grand baby loves it! So much so that at first I bought it to use only when she was with me which is from Fri evenings-Monday afternoons and then it would live at my house until she came back again. Her mother saw her playing with it and really enjoying it and then begged to take it home with her. I of course let her and now it is the toy that travels everywhere with them. I bought this for the baby at 4 months of age and she is now 8 months old and still loves it. I think all babies need one and would give them as gifts to anyone with a new baby as well.

So nice we bought it twice!

So nice we bought it twice! We bought this for our first little one years ago and it was one of his fave toys. We would take it everywhere, now we have made a second purchase for our newest member of the family and it’s a hit! This cute little toy is durable and the song is cute (not annoying) and most importantly not too loud like some baby toys. It’s easy to strap to the car seat, stroller, activity mat, etc. totally worth it for the smiles to come.

Absolutely adorable!

This is absolutely adorable attached to a car seat. My daughter isn't fond of her car seat unless we're moving. Pull down the little caterpillar, she hears the music and instantly relaxes! She loves looking at the colors and swatting at it while on walks/drives. What a help this is for us! I'm now more confident we can go away for the weekend to my cabin which is a few hours away. This will help tremendously on the ride!

Baby has loved this for a few months now

Baby has loved this for a few months now. The big caterpillar eyes make her smile and she likes the music. As to the music, I like that it's actually a pull-string music box type (all components inside the toy and activated by pulling the caterpillar head away from the tail) and not some electronic reproduction. It gives it greater listening longevity, tolerability, and durability. As others have mentioned, the Velcro is kind of weak--it can easily be pulled off if not fastened really really well. I don't consider this too much of a detriment, however.

My baby loves this!!

My son has been playing with this since he was 2 months old. We bought it initially to help ease some of his boredom, which seemed to come right at the 2 month mark. we hang it on his play gym and he grabs the rings and talks to it. the song it plays is precious and not at all obnoxious. I have been looking into the toys from this brand just because of how impressed i am with this caterpillar

Such a fun toy!

I bought this for my grandson when he was only 2 months old, and he just loves it! It plays a very soothing and pleasant melody when you extend it, which doesn't drive the grownups crazy. I hang it from his playpen and he can now pull on the rings enough to make the music play just a little. He smiles whenever we give it to him to play with. Months later, it's clearly still his favorite toy.

I Buy This For EVERYONE I Know When Gifting!!!

As far as durability goes...I bought my first one of these 4 years ago for my son who will be 4 in June and I am now re-using that one for my son who is now 3 months old and it still looks good as new! This thing is a God Sent in the car, the grocery store, etc. Trust in the magic of this thing and the quiet and happiness it will bring to your tiny human! This momma would have gone to crazy town without it! Great buy!!!

Hey little Gus Gus

My daughter (8 months) loves this guy. I named him Gus cause he looks like a Gus. He has a cute little side smirk goin' on. My daughter really likes the song he plays when you pull him, but if you imagine that song being played in a dark room, it seems really creepy like the shining. Oh well, it's sweet. Also he can Velcro onto your car seat which is neato. Thanks Gus.

Best hanging toy!

I love this toy! I bought it to add interest to my sons play gym because his is boring in the hanging toy department. Its great because it has a velcro closure so you can hang it anywhere. Its bright and plays music for almost 30 seconds. The caterpillar takes its time going back to small size so it doesnt startle the little one. I will probably get anoyher to hang on car seat. Favorite hanging toy we have bought.
