Charges like a beast

So its everything it said it would be. 2.4 amps PER PORT with a system check so that it assigns proper charging to the device without overload. I don't know if this brand has cables, but linked up with ANKER cable for my iPhone 7 my phone was charging at about a rate of 1.6% per minute. So from Dead to 100% in about 1 hr!! That's pretty awesome for a car charger. The large end surrounding the ports its textured and makes it a little easier when plugging this in to the electrical port in the car. The LED is not blinding and allows you to see that the charger is plugged in correctly. This charger is light and fits very snug into the electrical port and did not fall out when charging from it. I would recommend this item to friends and family.

This car charger is on another level

This charger is the best car charger hands down. I travel a lot for work and so I am always in my car. I have to use my gps for everything so I needed a fast charger that would still charge while my gps was in use. Anyone that knows about google maps or apple maps know that these apps drain your battery in minutes and ordinary chargers only prevent your phone from dying while the App is running, but wouldn’t really add any charge to your phone. I am not a techy person so I can’t speak on the specifications behind this charger, but this charger is on another level. It charges my phone in no time and in whatever weather. It is definitely lightning speed and not to mention durable. I have had this charger maybe a year now and there is no going back. I strongly recommend this car charger.

Just what I needed

This is the second one I had to purchase, but it was worth it. I bought this to replace the charger that was stolen, and that one was purchased to replace the original that was stolen out of my car. I like the dual port, so a friend can charge their phone while I'm charging mine, and it doesn't have to be an android. It is small and compact, and fits easily in my center consul. I do hope it lasts me a while, because I don't want to buy another one!

Having 4.8 amps is so much better....

This unit came today. The packaging was very high quality and was very impressed by it. They took great care to make sure the Car Charger was not damaged by shipping. Looked just like an Apple Product....infact for a money, I thought it was. Gave a great first impression. I like the design since it did not stick out from the port. Many times these charges are simply to long and end up not fitting in such places as a cigarette lighter box. This one does, at least in my car it does. The unit fits very snug to the port only stopping just pass the T showing in the photo. This means only the length of the metal part of your USB insert is the total length of the unit sticking out from the port ( Plus an 1/4 of an inch or so). You simply cannot make it anymore compact. I also like the blue light showing it has power. The light is not to bright so that good for driving, though it could be a little brighter. The 4.8 amp ensures full power to anything I plug into it. This is important for larger items especially if they both are plugged into the unit. Nothing is starving for juice and it charges my Apple IPhone 6S Plus as fast as if it was plugged into the outlet in my home. So many times you here about wattage, yet they have 3 or 4 amps.

Simple and effective construction

Initial impressions are very good. It works with my Samsung tablet, which is the reason I bought this product in the first place. It doesn't have a lot of bulk outside the DC socket, basically just enough to get the USB connected and not a great deal more. The LED lighting around the USB port is useful in a dim car cabin, but it does not flood the vehicle with light (which is good, in my opinion).

Very quick recharge for my phone

I know nothing about electronics and computers or chargers for electronics and computers. Fortunately I have sons who look out for me. My son said .... mom, get this. I did. Now I am recharging my cell phone lightening quick and there is a 2nd whatchamacallit if someone else is in the car and needs to recharge their phone. Why it works, I don't know. But, it works and I'm very happy with it.

Looks good, charges fast.

Purchased this for my truck and so far it has performed flawlessly. Charges my iPhone 7 (work) and iPhone 7 Plus (personal) quickly and with out problems. Phones don't get hot. Have tried it with a Samsung Tab 3 and it also seems to charge a little faster than with the other adapters I've used in my vehicle. I would buy it again, having two outputs is nice especially if your wife is along for the ride. The company shipped it fast, and it came very well packaged.

Good for chevy trucks

this has been the only charger ive found that does not interfere with the radio when an aux cord is plugged into a phone that is also charging its a common problem with chevys. other cheaper chargers make my speakers very unclear with a lot of static when playing music. this one is different though for some reason so any other chevy guys out there who understand this this is the charger for your truck!

Just what I needed

We need to charge an iPhone and an Android phone in the car. I tried attaching a USB hub to our single-port charger, but the iPhone would not charge at all through the hub. With this Maxboost 2-port charger, the iPhone will charge from the top port, and the Android will charge from either port. I had some trouble figuring out which way is "top" since obviously the charger rotates. I figured out I have to pull the charger out and look at where the word Maxboost is printed-- this is the top. A better design would be if they put an arrow or a word on the flat front where the ports are. This charger works fine to charge both phones at once, and the illuminated ports are helpful.
