2007 5.9 white smoke

I have 2007 Ram 5.9 Cummins with about 140k. I always ran an additive but got lazy the past couple years. I started getting white smoke and a rough idle only on start up, then it would smooth out. I added the diesel extreme filled up the tank ran in on a 100 mile trip. I started it the next day no more white smoke or rough idle. Bad fuel or build up on an injector? I plan on running the extreme every 6 months and the everyday treatment from now on.

Improved results

Decided to try this after reading reviews and seeing it mentioned on a few of the auto shows. Used it in a 25 year old turbo diesel imported from Japan. Vehicle was initially little sluggish and rough idling but after using this and the oil cleaner much more zip and smoother. Seems to be a quality product and line. Will continue to use and try other products from same manufacturer.

I started using this over some of the other products that i was using and found that my run ran better than before. I had improved throttle response after about half a tank of fuel, and started a little better on those cold days. It's now sold at my local Napa store will continue to use. going to try out there other products as well

Excellent diesel additive! Restored our ecodiesels power and throttle response.

This stuff is magic in a bottle! My wife's 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the ecodiesel was high through regens frequently and acting sluggish. The first treatment I added almost double what it recommends plus their EDT treatment. Within 50-75 miles I could tell a noticeable difference in power and the sluggishness was disappearing quick! Now is going through almost no regens and it drives like it did when new. I added this in the next tank also just to give it a very thorough cleaning. From now on I'm just adding their EDT treatment every tank and I'll run this through twice a year like they recommend. I'm generally not into fuel treatments but after reading up on how awful American diesel is I'm a firm believer in additives for our diesel vehicle. This stuff and their EDT work!

I Have a 2001 F250 7.3 BEEN USING THESE Hot Shot products for over a Year Now. Those who know ford diesel and the injectors, Should Know That My Truck Has 285000 miles And My injectors are At 100% This review is for extreme diesel additive, I'm about to do an oil change soon and put in Hot shot secret stiction and extreme diesel, I want to be that truck that has over 600000 miles! And using this will help me get there.

This works!!! 2006 F350 Powerstroke

I have used Power Service Diesel Kleen additive in my 2006 F350 Powerstroke diesel for the past 5 years. My truck has always responded good to that product. After hearing all the hype about Hotshots Extreme, I decided "why not". Please believe me, with a fresh full tank and 16oz of this product, before I travelled 2 miles, my injectors started to quiet. By the time I had travelled 10 miles, you could hardly hear my injectors AT ALL! My truck never responded that well to the Diesel Kleen product. This Hotshots is only recommend for every 6,000 miles, so I may still use Diesel Kleen for my normal fuel treatment on regular fill-ups. Powerstrokes are known to being noisy and mine was no different. But that's not the case now! The next few start-ups were noticibly easier and quicker. I highly suggest this product to anybody who wants to help their diesel rig live longer and happier.

I'm pretty skeptical about fuel additives. This stuff has clear directions and actually tells you not to use it very often. That is the opposite of just trying to sell snake oil. My idle evened out, cold starts are much easier, and if I told you my fuel mileage improvement you wouldn't believe me. I'm a fan of this stuff now. I can't wait to try out their other products.

Helped with Regeneration

I started using this based on a Youtube channel I follow recommendation. I use this on a 2016 F250. My first use was stronger (16 oz) on a tank than recommended by Hot Shot. I have seen a real improvement in my truck's regeneration cycles. When I started using this my truck was regenerating about every 100 miles. My last regeneration cycle was 600 miles. I have done two treatments and have been using this product for about 8k miles. I also use the EDT to improve combustion.

My 3 cyl. diesel tractor runs smoothly now!

I've never been a believer in addatives. I'm a believer in this one. Within 5 minutes of adding to the fuel, the vibration I've been experiencing smoothed out. I was thinking I needed new injectors, this additive obviously cleaned the injectors! My 3 cyl. Compact tractor runs like new again!
