I only bought this is because I lost the same one I already owned. It does make dramatic difference when taking photos in bright or around twilight time. Definitely buy this.

52mm Altura Photo Tulip Lens Hood

Um. It's a hood. It works. It says it's not reversible, but I could remove it and flip it around for storage with my longer lens--not a biggie for me since I leave it all together and "ready-to-go." It was NIB & in a very easy to get into plastic case. I got it for my Nikon D3300's 70-300mm lens. Even the "moleskin/microfiber" cloth was wrapped in a clear plastic. Inexpensive way to protect my lens/camera/long sunny pics. Recommended? Yep. Buy it again? You betcha! Excellent value.

Blocks the sun! (Mostly)

Nice hard plastic screw on hood. Works well for my canon t6 factory lens. I have yet to test it on my other lenses.

will not work with Gopro

I purchased the lens hood for my gopro with a 52mm lens casing. I figured it would work with the camera in linar mode to keep from venyetting. It does work when the camera is still but will venyette with camera movement. I give no negative review on this product because they never advertise the use with Gopro.

Great Lens Hood

Great lens hood for those afternoon shots. This eliminates lens flare from the bright sun when taking pictures. Works great and stays attached to the lens and is so easy to put on and take off. No issues in using this lens hood.

Good quality and great customer service!

Nice lens hood. Took me a few times to figure out how to get it on right, but I got it. I like the fact that my lens cover fits inside. Came with a nice microfiber cloth and a signed note from the President of the company. I will definitely purchase from "Digital Goja" again, as they seem to be very concerned with great customer service.

The butterflys are practically free!

Great price and just the lens hood you need to avoid edge shadows on your photos/slides! The butterfly edge pattern on this shade does the job. Highly recommended!!! You can pay a lot more and certainly not get as great a valuel Call it tulip or butterfly this lens shade will do the job.

For the price it’s fantastic, does the job. It does attach a little weird on EOS lenses but it will screw on and stay.

Great Lens Hood

This is a great lens hood. To be honest, I hardly ever need it as an actual hood but it's nice to have the added protection for the lens against bumps and falls. Mine threads on great and removes easily. Just take your time, the threads are thin and delicate. The MagicFiber cloths are very good and were included for free. I might grab another one of these with different threads for my other lenses. I recommend this product and I'd buy it again.
