Easy great awesome

We have had this for three years. The only issue was a screw came loose on the hinge. That was an easy fix. We use this thing all the time. It’s not hard to clean in my opinion. If you don’t want to spend a lot you will be very happy with this. If you have kids you can make grilled cheese sandwich’s in about 60 seconds. I have reheated French fries , sandwiches and even some veggies. Heating tofu gets a little messy but again it’s easy to clean. Save me so much time.

Amazing

Love this. I make myself an egg white, sharp cheddar cheese panini and avocados on the side. Be sure to use the right kind of bread. I use ciabatta. Delicious and amazing each time. So easy to clean too. I highly recommend this.

Love this thang

With our non-energy efficient cabin, this press has been a life saver this summer. It has been so hot (83 degrees in the kitchen-even with our window a/c) I don't even want to use the toaster over. This little beauty grills up some terrific sandwiches without heating up the place. The surface area is larger than the small Geo. Foreman grill. Also I like the fact that it is not slanted (we don't eat meat so don't have to worry about draining 'grease'). It cleans up easily. The floating top allows for different thicknesses of sandwiches and it beats using both a skillet and the toaster oven.

How Did I Ever Eat Sandwiches Without This?!

We love this sandwich press and us it often! I am much more inclined to eat a sandwich when it has been toasted and pressed, so this has definitely increased my percentage of sandwich eating at home, which is good for my budget...but maybe not my waistline. You can even press burritos! The sky is the limit! In any case, great product, does what its meant to do and is easy to clean which is always a big plus. Love it!

You need this in your life! its like a George foreman on steroids! can cook everything from bacon to burgers to chicken breast to making grilled cheeses! it has literally became a staple in my kitchen and stays on my counter top because i use it for everything! been using it for 6 months when i write this review and have had no problems at all with it!

Get more than one!!

I probably shouldn't say this, but this thing is underpriced. It's one of those things that you buy because it's got great reviews and a great price...get it home and wonder why you didn't have one before...and then worry that years down the line, this one will give out and they will be sky high then. So guess what?! I ordered two more! One as a gift and another on reserve for the retirement of the first. For $25...it can't be beat! Love it! Thanks Amazon! This is a winner all around!!

Excellent little grill

I bought this for my husband because he had been wanting a panini grill. I looked at the fancier, bigger, higher priced grills, but went with this one because it has a history of good reviews. Perhaps when he proves he is responsible with this one, I will get him an upgrade :) This one is nice because there arent a lot of settings to worry about and try to remember what settings to use for what. Just turn it on, watch for the light, and then you're ready to throw your sandwich on there. He always uses thick sourdough bread and is happy with the way his sandwiches turn out. I told him to butter the grill, not the bread, and so now his results are much better. The non stick grill surfaces are nice and easy to clean. Even if a little cheese oozes out, it wipes right off with a paper towel. Nothing sticks to the surface at all. It is the perfect size for two nice sandwiches (on large bread), but yet not too big and bulky to have to worry about where to store it and it is not so big that it is cumbersome to move around and clean, etc. A lot of the other lower priced models that I looked at did not have the floating lid. This one does have the hinged floating lid so you can get thick sandwiches in there and the lid will lay flat and evenly on top. Aside from sandwiches, it is nice for burgers and steaks too. Nice to have something like this when it is too cold to go outside and run the big propane grill. We eat NY Strip and Porterhouse steaks a lot, so this little grill is really nice to get us through the winter months and not miss out on the beefy goodness. This sears them perfectly and we are able to get them done to our liking of "medium well." Boneless split chicken breasts/tenders work out wonderfully as well. It feels very well made, especially for the price and we are both happy with it. I am happy to have found such a good model at such a good price and he is happy that it works so well and is easy to use. It is the perfect combination of price, performance and value. It is not lacking any necessary features and the build quality is perfect.
