Love this!
Love the fact it doesn't sweat. Love the fact it fits in my car cup holder. Love the fact it is easy to add cucumbers or fruit to my water. Love the fact it is easy to track the quantity of water I am drinking. Love the fact it is easy to carry to work or the gym. Love the fact it is dishwasher safe. Just love it! In fact, I loved it so much that I purchased another so I always have one clean and ready to fill.

I LOVE!
I think I may have reviewed these before, but I am obsessed. I'm addicted to ice water, and I would break my insulated cups every few months, UNTIL I FOUND THESE. These I've only broken ONE of the 6 I own (still works but since I split the top it now 'sweats', and I also lost one) and I broke a couple lids. Well not the lid, but the little 'notches' in the lip broke thus making the lid leak. And that was like 2 years ago! I would have spent $130 at Starbucks by now! They are cheaper than the fancy Starbucks ones and LAST SO SO SO MUCH LONGER! I. Just. Adore. These.

THEY WORKED FINE FOR A WHILE (PROBABLY UNTIL AFTER I WROTE MY ...
I HAVE BOUGHT OTHER INSULATED TUMBLERS THAT WERE LESS EXPENSIVE THROUGH AMAZON. THEY WORKED FINE FOR A WHILE (PROBABLY UNTIL AFTER I WROTE MY OPINION); HOWEVER THEY SOON CAME APART AND HAD TO BE DISCARDED. I HAVE FOUND THAT TERVIS IS BY FAR THE BEST INSULATED TUMBLER AROUND. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THESE AND HAVE LEARNED THAT OFTEN TIMES YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. REALLY LIKE THE TERVIS PRODUCT.

perfect
I got mine today. So impressed easy to drink out of and press down to seal perfect. Impressed with the hold imprints. I follow ADavis review instructions to put the lid on to make sure it won't leak and worked perfectly. Its cool how Tervis put the little clear marks in the bottom band of the top part of the bottle so you can tell where to start, where the spout should be and the hinge when put on correctly.

Now my favorite water bottle!
My go to water bottle used to be the metal kind with a straw. But then, used my husband's go to water bottle (this one) and I was hooked! Immediately found on Amazon to purchase. Difficult to click all the way closed but when you do, it is completely leak proof. Sweat proof and keeps drinks cold, although not as long as the metal ones. But prefer this one and feel that I drink more water than using the metal ones.

Top Notch Quality and Made in America
Make in America with a lifetime guarantee. The third generation family-owned-and-operated business, now employs more than 900 people and is celebrating 70 years of Made in the USA success. These are dishwasher top rack safe. I've been through 3 sets of the cheap sets of 4 tumblers made in China. We never put them into the dishwasher and yet after a year or so the seal on the top breaks down and leaks. The last set I ordered arrived broken just in the mail. That was it. The Tervis tumblers are heavier and feel substantial in the hand. Like all double wall tumblers they keep drinks cold and don't leave rings on the table they're set on. My now go-to tumbler. The company offers custom made ones on their web site. The colors are rich and beautiful.

Great mug... but could be a bit larger
Great mug. Performs as advertised. Good for seniors and folks with arthritis who tend to drop things. Particularly those of us who have arthritis in their hands. Although made of a type of plastic that is microwaveable and dish washer safe, the mug feels closer to a glass mug in terms of heft. The only drawback is that, as other reviewers have indicated, the actual capacity is on the small side. If you really don't need a large mug then it won't be a problem. NOTE TO TERVIS: make a version that is slightly larger... 18 oz. or even larger. I would buy one that is as large as 24 oz. Given the coffee craze that has developed over the last decade, a lot of folks want really large mugs to hold the ocean of coffee that they consume daily. I think that it would sell very well. There's not much competition in solid, large, unbreakable, microwaveable, insulated coffee mugs WITH handles. It's an untapped market. I discovered the Tervis mug after searching for such an item. Most others are just travel mugs with no handles that weren’t microwaveable, etc.

Tough cups that are worth every penny
It seemed like a lot to spend on a plastic cup, but they have held up very well. I've put them through the dish washer many many times and they look brand new. I don't have any cracking, scratching or discoloration, which is kind of impressive with clear plastic. Also it turns out 24-ounce is a rather large size, but I like a lot of ice in my drinks.

exceptional quality for a plastic tumbler - buy with confidence
I was trying to replace some cheap versions of these clear tumblers that I had purchased at WalMart several years ago. The double-walled construction had broken, leaving me with two glasses - the outer shell and the inner liner. I live on a rock in the middle of the ocean so having tumblers that didn't "sweat" like regular glasses was important to me. I looked locally and could not find anything remotely like what I wanted, so I turned to Amazon.I did the research. I read the other products' descriptions. I read the reviews. I see that other purchasers either loved them or hated the Tervis brand. One even stated they were cheap and broke almost immediately. Might have been another size, but it was the Tervis brand. So, like many other purchases I've made in the past, I decided to go for quality rather than cheap price. I initially bought two, thinking that if I didn't like them, I'd not be out a whole set of 6 tumblers, which is what I needed. I received the tumblers and they were exactly as I expected. Thick plastic, heavier than my original ones, and packaged well. I bought another two after seeing the first two, and just today bought the remaining two for my set of six needed. But how would they perform? Just fine. They have only exhibited exterior sweat one time - when it was raining and 90% humidity in my house. I can't fault the tumbler for that. If you cannot hold a solid, heavyweight object, these are not for you. Fill them with liquid and/or ice and they'll be heavier. But they are quality. If they break, they are supposed to be lifetime replacement per the advertisement and the company's statement. Then again, you're not out a fortune if one does indeed break. My only caveat would be this: I believe my cheaper versions had the double-wall construction broken because of MY actions. I used to press the upper lip of the tumbler against my ice dispenser on the front of my refrigerator. I believe that pressure caused the seal to crack, leading to a brown stain inside the two walls (I drink a lot of iced tea). Eventually, the seal broke entirely. So I have learned, with VERY LITTLE EFFORT to simply place my index finger behind the tumbler lip and push with my finger against the ice dispenser trigger. That way, the pressure is on my finger and not the lip rim of the tumbler. DO NOT BUY CHEAP VERSIONS of this product if you are looking for high quality. Learn your lesson, people. You've all done it in the past and have been sorry for your choices. So buy quality - you won't regret it. And quality doesn't come cheap. It comes moderately-priced. Fair enough.

Excellent product. Purchased more.
Purchased two more, my husband loves these tall glasses that hold a lot of fluid. He uses them all day long to drink water, ice tea etc. I do not put them in the dishwasher. I wash by hand. When using for cold liquids, no condensation forms on the outside. Hence, no dripping on outside down to the table. The double walled container even with ice and cold liquid is not too cold to hold. The vacuum seems to hold up well over time. We have had 4 of them for 5 years and they hold up well... except that the container is no longer clear. They have become hazy (like wax paper) are no longer transparent. They are not as attractive as they once were now that the containers are hazy. Even with this degradation over time. We still like these classes very much. Recommend. I paid full price for these glasses. Photo of new container.. and 5 year old container (never put in dishwasher).
