Easy to clean pan
I am very happy with this pan. It was pre-seasoned well. I washed it with a tiny bit of soap right after receiving it as per the included instructions and have been just washing with a sponge and hot water since. I always rub a little bit of oil back into the pan after cleaning. It has been fairly non-stick already. I've made everything from fried eggs, bacon and gravy to chicken and vegetables with very easy clean up. I've used both on my electric stove and in the oven. I would definitely recommend this pan.

Best Non Stick Cast Iron made today
Cast Iron 10-1/2" These are the best Cast Iron pans made today that I know of....Look at the bottom of the pans in the photo closely because you can see how smooth the frying area is....Smooth means when you pre-season the pan it becomes "Non- Stick" fast after Pre-Seasoning....I also bought the Lodge Cast Iron 10-1/2" Chicken Fryer with Lid it's not near as good as the T-Fal and the Lodge Lid fits the T-Fal Cast Iron

Food tastes better.
I have always wanted a cast iron pan I got a gift card from Amazon so I decided to purchase one. Did not realize that they were as cheap as they were. I have used it every night since I got it December 27th. Cooking a bone in ribeye is amazing in this pan. Super heavy. I would recommend getting the silicone cover that goes on the handle and on the edge of the pan to make easy lifting and you don't burn the crap out of your hands.

... a while now and I can say everything is great and as-described
I've been using the new pan for a while now and I can say everything is great and as-described. All i can say is that when buying a cast-iron skillet, do your homework; keep your negative reviews to yourself if you don't have the ability to take care of your things. Owning one is NOT hard, the product sold does exactly what it's supposed to do. Here's some helpful tips: 1. Season it up a couple of times before you cook with it officially: lightly spread some oil on the pan, put it in the oven on 450 for an hour, and repeat that a couple of times. I simply turned on the oven and shoved it in while i was watching tv and let it sit to cool off afterwards. 2. Don't cook eggs on it the first time you use it. these pans BECOME non-stick, they're not born that way. Be a smart human being; cook meats for the first month; bacon, steaks, burgers... things that naturally season your pan and don't have a large tendency to stick. 3. Don't let them sit in water. rinse them off, wipe them down, and put a tablespoon of vegetable oil spread thin for storing. NOT HARD. **At the end of the day, even if your pan gets a little rust on it, don't just throw it away. Open your computer, go to the almighty google, and research how to safely remove small bits of rust. These pans are meant to be used for a long long time. You'll be healthier and the food you cook will taste wonderful. I myself have not had a single issue, nor has it been hard to clean. Keep it simple people. Don't be intimidated; you'll be better for cooking with cast iron. You can also brag a little bit; people tend to regard us cast iron chefs in a brighter light. Good luck and enjoy! Great product!

Tfal Cast Iron Pan. Amazing!
I love this brand. This is my first cast iron Tfal pan. It's HUGE, and heavy!! As soon as I received it, I followed the advice of other owners and "seasoned" it. It gets really hot, and stays hot for perfect deep frying. If you order this pan, be sure to order the silicone pot handles. It fits perfectly on this pan for easy use and safety. You can purchase it here on Amazon for under $5. I can't wait to use my cash iron pan again. For $20 And free shipping, definitely worth it!!!! Coincidentally, I have a Tfal skillet frying pan that came with a lid. I can use it for both this cast iron and it's original pan. Super happy about this product! Remember to season between uses for the lifetime use and better tasting fried chicken♡

Works perfect - as heavy as you'd expect it to be for cast iron
Exactly what I expected it to be. Needs to be kept seasoned. And my 45 year old wrist struggles lifting the pan and scraping out leftovers. I may need a special silicone mitt to try and protect from the heat while having better dexterity for lifting with one hand and using utensils with the other. Or, you need a 2 person effort. But, that can be expected from a large cast iron weighted skillet.

Food tastes better! Wow
Oh lord, when this was first delivered and I read about how you pretty much have to 'baby' it aka season it to keep it in good shape, I was like - I don't have time for all this!! BUT, BUT... I hang in there, and I did re-season it, (in spite the claim that it comes preseasoned) anyway, long story short- OMG.... I made some beef stew, (in the oven) DIVINE. DIVINE. Cast Iron, where have thee been all my life?? NOW I know why people alway rave about these things... what? Awesomeness! I shall baby it forever!

Can't Miss Skillet!
Great quality cast iron skillet. Why did I wait so long to get one? Everything tastes better cooked in a vast iron skillet.

Excellent Cast Iron, the home chef's best friend.
This is my FAVORITE companion in the kitchen, one up from my instant pot. The versatility of this cast iron cannot be overstated. You can make nearly anything in it. I've made whole roast chicken, scalloped potatoes, omelettes, deep dish pizza, amazing filet mignon, prime rib, all manner of sauteed veggies, chicken pot pie...its the best. The handle is nice and sturdy, and the cast iron is very thick and heavy, with good weight distribution, unlike some other popular models (I also have two by a competitor that are 6 in and 10 in, but this 12 in is my fave). It's very easy to clean and seasons well. Will be loved for years to come.

Doesn't get better than cast iron!
Been wanting a cast iron skillet for quite some time. Finally pulled the trigger on this one as it seemed to be a great deal. I was not disappointed. Why have I been cooking bacon in anything but cast iron?? I've been using this for about 5-6 months now and its amazing! I use it on stove top and even on my grill. These are so versatile and useful. My only concern or complaint is the handle. Its so skinny, it's hard to hold unless you have tiny hands and I'm always afraid its going to break, though there is another handle on the opposite side for additional support. Not enough to deduct a star, in my opinion. Do yourself a favor and learn about seasoning and maintenance of these pans. If you take care of it, it will serve you well forever!
