I absolutely love these lights. They're not too dim, and they're not too bright. Normally I leave a lamp light on in throughout the night. These have that only saved a lot of energy, but in the morning I don't have to remember to turn the lamp off. Absolutely perfect and I would definitely recommend.

These produce a nice bright, white light that meets my desire to be able to navigate through my house at night without turning on any lamps or overhead lighting. After receiving my first order and comparing them to a variety of night lights that I recently purchased from Amazon, these proved the best and brightest. The dusk- to -dawn sensor works better than most of the other types that I purchased for comparison. In my kitchen, these produce enough night light for me to safely navigate to get a beverage or snack without turning on any lights. I am placing my third order today and will ultimately have these throughout my house. An advantage is that the slim profile does not interfere with convenient use of another wall receptacle. Parents with small toddlers are cautioned that the cover is removable and it is not an enclosed one piece.

First and foremost, I am a repeat Maxxima customer. It all started when I purchased the MLN-10, MLN-15, and MLN-50 back in 2012. You can see my reviews of those on those respective pages. Previously I had those cheap LED night lights purchased from the dollar store. Well guess what, those didn't last very long. All my Maxxima night lights are still running strong. Fast forward to the present. I moved to a different house and my kids have grown up. Because they sometimes wake up in the middle of the night to either get their own drink of water or go potty, they need to be able to see. Nobody wants to turn on the normal lights to be blinded, hence the reason I had to order this. I wanted to buy as many LEDs night lights my money could afford. I came across those Chinese knockoffs that currently have a lot of reviews but one thing caught my eye. There were several negative reviews posting about 2 things. 1. No UL certification 2. Electrical malfunction showing burned night lights and/or sockets As a parent and a homeowner, you use night lights so that you don't have to unplug them every day. Since they have the photoelectric sensor, you trust they can come on and off without issue. You don't want them to burn up your house. One way to trust electronic devices is to either ensure they are ETL or UL certified. In short: "UL and ETL are both what are called Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratories (NRTL). NRTLs are in place to provide independent safety and quality certifications on products. Electrical appliances typically require their certification (especially 240V appliances). Some charging station manufacturers do sell unlisted products; it is very important to check for the UL or ETL mark before purchasing. UL develops the testing standards and tests to them. ETL tests to UL standards. In order for an inspector to sign off on a permitted installation for an EVSE, the National Electric Code requires the EVSE be NRTL listed. " So what does that mean? Maxxima, the brand I've trusted in the past, is certified. The Chinese knockoffs are not. Don't save $2-5 just to chance your house burning down.

Light is cool/blue so keep that in mind when ordering these.

These lights work perfectly. They give off a good amount of light at night, and the light sensor on each light turns the light on at the appropriate level of darkness, then off when the morning light streams into the house. I've been using these at my house for months -- no complaints. The LED strikes me as more reliable than the typical 4-watt light bulb I had in other night-lights I've purchased. The filament in those bulbs always seemed to be too fragile to last very long. I know that some reviewers found these lights a bit too bright for their liking, but they seem fine in my view. I live in the country, and it gets pretty dark here, so it helps to have an inexpensive way to softly illuminate a hallway or stairwell when you get up at night to get something. A good product.

Update 8/26/16. I received my second set and they have the same sensitivity to light, meaning they are now off in most of the locations that in the past they would have been on all the time. In only have one dark hall where this new light continues to stay on, but it's still a huge improvement over the original sets I purchased. Still 5 stars! Received the set today and wow, I don't know if they tweaked their design or if I have a bad set, but these are way better than the previous sets I've purchased. The set I received today is much more sensitive to ambient light, so in the partially dark areas, it DOES NOT go on. I swapped in all 4 with existing ones that were almost always on even during the day. Just to make it clear, it is the exact same set, I've purchased this 4 pack a couple of times before and like many others experience, the light comes on unnecessarily when there is still sufficient ambient light to see. I replaced the "always on" ones with these and they stay off until it is truly dark. I ordered another set just now hoping that this is in fact the current design of the lights. I'll post another review or update this one if I find that the next set is good or if it goes back to the old behavior of being on all the time.

We have had a lot of night lights, but like these better than any of the others we have purchased. These respond to the amount of light in the room and turn on at dusk dark and stay on until the sun is up. They give off enough light to see going to the bathroom without breaking your neck. For my taste, they are a little too bright to have in the bedroom, but my mother has one in her bedroom and is happy with it. Because they are LED, they don't get hot. I also put one in mom's garage, since she has managed to shut the garage door on occasion without the overhead light coming on and had to feel her way to the door. ("Mom, you could have turned on your headlights...") Anyway, these are great little nightlights and I highly recommend them.

These are very nice lights, bright enough to light up a small bathroom or hallway.

I ordered this one for bathroom and bedroom for night time use This is very light brightness so if we wake up at night we can go to sleep again in drowsy without wake up fully

Happy with Maxxima MLN LED Night Lights. I had other LED Night Lights, the kind that you can swivel around, even though they worked OK I found them not to have enough light especially in a large dark living room at night. I was still bumping into things in the living room when I turned off the lights. I personally do not like being in the dark at night. So I am happy that I found these LED night lights. They are bright but not bright enough that they are going to blind you and are really good for large rooms that need a little light at night, The nice feature about these is that you can either shine the light upwards for more light or downwards for a little less light. So pleased that I bought them.
