I purchased these lights and installed them on the back of my truck as a supplement to the back up lights for backing at night. Within a few days one of the lights developed condensation in light on the lense. I attributed it to a severe temperature fluctuation; but, after a heavy rain the moisture inside was worse. I attempted the Amazon return but was 6 days beyond my return period. I googled the Nilight Company and sent an inquisitive email about warranty or return policy. I was ASTONISHED by the email I received from Lily at Nilight the very next day! She asked for a photograph of the light and my purchase invoice. A quick screen shot and photo with my phone and an email reply went out. Lily provided an apology for the light failure and a TRACKING NUMBER for lights they had already sent out to replace the defect! Wwwwwhhhhhaaattttt?! It was that easy. I have ten other Nilight products and have never had a problem. They are great lights and illuminate the darkness of night brilliantly! I don’t usually write reviews but my experience was awesome and they deserve the recognition! Thank you Nilight!

I got this pair of NiLight LED lights for free from NiLight during a Facebook promotion contest, they are shown installed on my Jeep Wrangler in place of my 4.5 year old NiLight 18W cube for lights. The amount of light in the dispersion areas above and beside the Jeep is incredible now, but I will say that the down range beam lighting is not much different. That said, these are not driving lights with a pencil beam, these are fog lights with a desperation beam. Overall, they are what you expect from NiLight, a high quality aluminum housing, properly sealed to prevent ingress of moisture, and cheaply made yet functional mounting brackets. Based on my experience, I fully expect years of faithful service from any NiLight product. They seem to be about the most dependable blend of high performance, durable build quality and low cost. Sure, you can spend 80% more to get 20% more performance, but I'm not seeing the need for that unless your running Baja or racing nights at the Easter Jeep event. For us normal folk, saving the 80% in money is more than worth giving up the 20% in lighting performance and durability.

Over the last few years, LED light bars have transitioned from just a tool to see at night to a cosmetic detail for a vehicle. In regards to using it as a lighting tool, I do not baby this light. I take it off the beaten path and off shoots where a light can be the difference between driving off a hill or coming home unscathed. This light is super bright and has a spot light in the front while having some flood for the sides. The two different types of lights provide some visual depth at night. If you have ever driven off road, you know that visual depth is hugely important to see the different between a dip, rut, or "vehicle eating" hole :). This light also looks great when not in use. I have received several compliments in just the last two weeks that I have had it. It does not have the clear typical light bar that you see from most vendors. This has a contrasting look with a black background with white light emitters. Considering the price, you would never think it was not a major brand. Lastly, something I didn't expect but received was great customer service. NION, one of the vendors that sells this light, stands by their product. When I encountered an issue, they were quick to reply and fix the problem. I would not hesitate purchasing this light from them. So when things get dark and gloomy, there is no longer a need to light up the Batman logo to call for help, simply power this LED light and it will light up any dark forces you may encounter! :P

Ok, so I'm giving it a 5 stars..... RIGHT NOW!!! I've read that in the future they condensate, in hoping that's not the issue, but speaking as of right now, these things are incredible!!!! They look so good and are so bright, I'm very Happy! They fit PERFECTLY in the factory fog light holes for a 2003 to 2007 silverado.... I HIGHLY recommend these for the money.... NOW 6 months down the road will I still feel the same way, idk..... but I sure hope so!

OK.... I've installed them and used them for about an hour so perhaps this is premature. I'll try to update my review in a few months but for now I'm very pleased with these lights. I bought them to use as "spreader lights" on my boat. The old ones had plastic housings that completely disintegrated after a year in the sun & weather. The housings on these lights is metal so I'm hopeful that they'll last longer. Additionally... These are LEDs so I'm certain that the voltage/amperage drain is far less as compared to the old halogen lights. These lights are BRIGHT! I don't know how far the beam is thrown by these lights but as "spreaders" used to light up the deck and engine on the boat these produce an amazingly bright, white lite. Again... I'll try to update my review after using them for a few months. I'm hopeful.

This review is a RARE OCCASION I am not one to ramble on about a product - I normally just comment stuff like - good - happy - as advertized - etc. Just received these lights. I ordered 2 of the 36w 6.5" floods to mount on the side of my service truck for the evening service calls in the middle of nowhere. I do a lot of evening work (especially with the winter months coming) (( dark at 5pm )) The majority of the LED lights offered on Amazon are primarily "spot" lights - If your looking for a WORK light, floods are the ONLY way to go. Floods light up a wider area, they may not reach as far as a spot but these still light up I would say at least 50 foot from my truck. I have tried spots in the past and honestly, because of the "zero'ed in area" they light up... many times it is actually, kind of distracting. (this area is super bright and this area is in shadows) I was planning on mounting 2 on one side of the truck's tool boxes. PLAN HAS CHANGED ! - - one of these, lights up the entire work area. Seem to be very well built (heavy). I am extremely excited about these lights - I have gone through many different styles over the years but these lights blow them all away. I will be ordering another so I can light up both sides of my truck as well as the rear. I am also considering 2 of the 18w 4" floods to mount under the cab steps facing the rear to help light up the area while backing. I can not comment on the longevity / lifespan of these lights but, if it lasts a year - - well worth the $12 - - I'll just buy another to replace it. They arrived well packaged VERY HAPPY PURCHASE

36w 6.5" Flood bars: Work good. I actually prefer the 18W 4" flood bars better. These 6.5" bars have quite a light "halo" that the 18w 4" ones don't, the smaller ones disperse a more even flood. but these 36w are a little bit brighter. I have used or tested and reviewed the following Nilight LED lights: –2PC 27W Round Flood: work ok, great price but the 18W 4" Flood bars throw and disperse light better and seem just as bright. –2PC 27W Round Spot: don't bother. Had them next to the 27W round floods and could not see any difference. –32" 180W Bar Spot Flood Combo (Double-row LED, Straight): so far it's awesome. great flood at sides and a great bright spot. awesome for the money. –2PC 18W 4" Flood Bar: work great. highly recommend for bright light for less than +-50 yards. –2PC 18W 4" Spot Bar: great little spot lights. Mounted on my '02 Tacoma bumper as fog lights wired with my high beams. –2 piece NI18A-5 5.3" double-row Flood Bar: fairly bright broad flood dispersement, very flat wide beam, good for fog/driving lights. Seem just as bright as 36w 6" bars. If you ever get a Nilight sent to you that's missing any pieces or hardware just get in touch with Amazon or Nilight and they'll take care of it.

I have these on the back of my F-150 to turn on with the back-up lights. I have a backup camera but I can not see anything at night because the stock backup lights are too dim and they are too high off the ground to light up the road/driveway behind me. I added these under the back bumper and they are awesome! Super bright and they look pretty good. I might have purchased the smaller ones (in hindsight) simply for esthetic reasons, but I can't complain. I am thinking of ordering a couple more for the bed of the truck, under the tonneau cover, so I can see easily at night. I would definitely order again and would recommend!

This is a really impressive set of lights. Small enough to place on an ATV or small off-road vehicle (even a riding lawnmower!) and bright enough to use in tandem with another (and it's spotlight companion) on a full-sized off-road vehicle. Seriously, people spend so much more money elsewhere to add this level of illumination to their vehicles, both on and off-road. This is, hands-down, the no-brain option to add more light to wherever you want it to be.

I installed two 36w 6.5" flood bars on my ATV. These are incredibly bright and work perfectly for illuminating trails in the dark and for general work light applications such as making repairs outdoors at night (I don't have a garage, so I tend to need portable and durable light sorces to get things done when it's dark outside). For these applications these suit my needs perfectly. I anticipate that they will occasionally get wet since my ATV is stored outdoors in a semi-enclosed lean-to with a leaky roof, but probably not as much as they would on an on-road vehicle. They seem to be water resistant enough for the conditions I'll be exposing them to so I'm going to hold off on sealing the lights better with clear silicone sealant as some reviewers have suggested. I will update my review if I notice any issues with condensation in the lenses or burned out bulbs. It's not easy to demonstrate just how bright these lights are in a photo. I would say they are at least 5 times brighter than the stock (halogen) bulbs on my ATV...I would compare them to the LED headlights they're using in automotive applications now. From a distance, the beams cast off from the lights mimick a new BMW or Cadillac (aside from the spacing between them on my small utility ATV). Overall a great product at a great price. I'll be purchasing more in the future for some of my other vehicles.
