Very pleased

Very solid and well built. Good surface for traction and appears to be a good finish on the metal. The legs don't lock completely, that I see, and the rubber pads on the feet are subject to sliding off (and being lost?). But it's a good heavy weight for stability. My husband was doubtful, but has given it his unqualified blessing. That's big! Very glad I bought it because it solved a big problem.

STURDY, STABLE, VERSATILE and a GREAT PRICE

We bought this to mitigate the problem of too high a lower step in our RV, typically occurring when we leveled the RV. This is an excellent product, very sturdy and stable. We don’t find the 14lb weight excessive; anything less would probably result in a flimsy, dangerous step. It is exactly what is claimed to be in height - 3.5” or 7” depending on whether the legs are folded or deployed. It is equally stable in either position. The size of the platform is large enough to be versatile; it can be set outside your RV steps or slid underneath. And the surface is a non-skid material, much like fine sandpaper. For the price, which was 40% less than another brand we were considering, this is beyond compare. Our only recommendation is to get some glue, we used Gorilla Glue, and glue the rubber feet on. We put a small dab of glue on the edge of the foot that contacts the leg when the foot pad is fully inserted so that I could break the glue joint loose if ever needed. We did this because on of the pads fell off during the first use. They have not moved since we glued them over a month ago.

Durable, large, and great price!

Great size and height! There are always those times when camping that your steps end up to high. I often take my Grandmother on trips with me, I have small children, and Im pregnant so that height can be to much! This step is sturdy, large, and durable. It feels secure and the height works out great plus it has a great price. I only ordered one to make sure we liked it but will probably be ordering another for the other door before long

Great Product

This is the best money I have spent. I have used this step both long ways when we just need an extra step and short ways when we were camping in a park that had a huge drop off and our steps would not reach to the ground. We had to use our leveling pads on our steps which made them really high. I placed this step where the short end was between our permanent steps and this was wonderful. We and the dogs were able to get in and out of the Rig with ease. Don't hesitate to buy this product.

For our 13 yo black lab to stick her head out of the window of the truck

Bought for our 13 yo black lab, she needs a bit of a boost to get in truck and my SUV. Wasn't sure from photos if this would work. When she's having a good day she can step on running board into cab, no problem. Other days we've been using her folding dock ramp trifold. We put in ground folded, it's 7" high and 15" wide. It works but it's huge and very heavy. This step is perfection. SUPER sturdy. Low to ground so it's easy for her to step on it. Really deep step so she's comfortable using. And the top is full no slip adhesive. I am impressed. Ordering another for my SUV and one for our bed.

Nice and stable!

The step was purchased to make it easier for my dog to get in and out of the trailer when we are camping. Very sturdy and Stella did not hesitate for a second once it was set down in front of the door. I confess I also like it as it is much wider and deeper than the fold down step that came with the trailer. Nice solid feel. I saw a review or two where people thought it was heavy but I do not think it is bad at all and think that is what gives it such a sturdy feel.

This product is often "Temporarily out of stock" for good reason. It is one sturdy, well made step platform made of welded steel that is wide enough and just high enough to step in and out of the camper. Many of the stools may be lighter and smaller-for that, they may get a good rating. But for ruggedly built, larger dimensions safety,felt carpeted for traction, Quick Products is an excellent choice. This stool has folding legs for convenient storage. Granted, steel is a bit heavy and it is painted. We would have preferred aluminum. But where safety, strength and durability matter, we can live with steel. The one improvement that we did make was to pad the feet with rubber squares found at the local home improvement stores. They were cheap and keep the "feet" dry on a wet surface..

solid step for the bedside for my elderly husband to step on to get into our bed that is raised due to rails on the frame. has a non-skid top. he can step up on it with both feet, turn around and then sit on our king size bed with no problem. really helped to get him in bed.

Less expensive and better quality and bigger platform than any of the others I looked at

I love this so much! I bought it to make the step up into my camper less of a hassle and it works perfect! I used to have to put one foot up and then use the hand rail to pull myself up and in, but now I can just step right in! It has a big platform, bigger than most on the market and my dog took right to it and uses it with ease to get into the camper too! This one was less expensive and better quality than any of the others I looked at.

Perfect for big guys

This step is freakin awesome. I'm a big boy (330lb 6'4") and I need something to help me step out of my RV. I bought this one because of the weight capacity. It just looks and feel super solid. The legs fold completely under the the platform so it's easy to stow away. Also, it's big enough that you don't have to worry about missing the step. This is one of the best items I've bought for my RV since owning it.
