I love the color and the quality!
So far, I have loved this color! I have made a few things with it and it seems to go pretty smoothly! The color is bright and I love it! My only complaint (its a very minor issue) is that you have to be careful if you are printing something very thin that you are very cautious to not break it. I made something that was supposed to have some little "pegs that stuck straight out and they did not work because they snapped right off. IT seemed like the PLA was just a touch too soft. It could have been me or my settings too, so I did not take a star off because of that.

Hatchbox PLA runs great through my 3d printer!
I just finished running a spool of Hatchbox pla 1.75mm filament through my Monoprice mp select mini 3d printer and had no issues whatsoever. It arrived in a vacuum sealed plastic bag and on a standard sized spool. I will purchase more and give it a thumbs up!

Works Great in a Snapmaker
Bought this for my Snapmaker 3D printer and it works great. I had bought another spool of filament from a different manufacturer and fussed with it for over an hour before giving up - couldn't get the filament to load at all. Hatchbox, on the other hand, fed right in immediately without issue. I fired up a print and it adhered to the bed right away without fuss. With every spool of Hatchbox I buy, the more they become my go to filament of choice (this is my second roll of Hatchbox).

Five Stars
I like this filament a lot, good color and quality. I use at 210°

Works so much better than other brands.
Built my own 3D printer, it was not working well, all prints were just frail and often would fail during print. I had bought whatever filament was cheapest. I thought I had made a big mistake building my own printer or that I was otherwise doing something wrong. I played around with temperature of the extruder or the bed, I made changes to layer height, speed, retraction distance and numerous other settings to no avail. Burrowed some Hatchbox PLA from a friend, tried it out and that made all the difference Now my prints turn out beautiful and functional. Even when I play around with settings it still works well. I will not go back to another filament now.

Great entry level PLA
I got this at the recommendation of my brother who loves it. I am printing on a Sain Smart Ender 3 with a simi-flexable removable bed. For my system I have found that a 200 C hot end and 60 C bed temp at 60 mm/s produce good mostly consistent results with minimal stringiness. Still have the occasional failed part, but that is likely due to settings vs filament. For inexpensive filament, it has exceeded my expectations and I would recommend.

Beautiful prints, vibrant color
New to 3D printing, but very impressed. Beautiful prints, vibrant color, consistent filament size, no jams - and no complaints whatsoever. Edited to add a couple more photos to illustrate print quality. Parts are for a Mostly Printed CNC 525 - [...]- can't wait to get this puppy together! As others have mentioned, Hatchbox 3D PLA arrives in a vacuum sealed plastic bag with a desiccant pack. I vacuum seal mine back up with desiccant when it's going to sit for a bit...

So good, they can't keep it in stock!
Great filament, too bad they can't seem to keep it in stock. Runs through my Chinese printer like a champ. I'm running low and would like to reorder but Hatchbox's supply chain seems, eh, disrupted. I like this stuff because it sticks to the raft with exactly the right amount of adhesion. Some filament I've tried sticks like superglue (I have to sand), other filaments don't stick (I get warps). Hatchbox has it figured out. I get flat prints with good detail out of a 0.4mm nozzle running at 205C. The blue is highly saturated. The diameter of the filament is consistent and there were no issues pulling it off the reel.

The best PLA
I own PLA spools from many manufacturers and I can confirm that the Hatchbox is the easiest to print with to obtain consistent results. I've used the very cheap stuff and it's hard to dial in the correct temperatures, but the Hatchbox seems to print well no matter what settings I use. Depending on what I need it for, I may still sometimes go with the garbage brands, but when quality is what you're after, Hatchbox seems to be the way to go.

Hatchbox prints really well on both Printrbot and Flashforge printers!
Hatchbox is my go-to filament. I received some Blue filament with my Flashforge but really didn't care for the color - it's almost a dull shade of blue. Hatchbox blue is so bright and vibrant! Makes great prints!! I’ve printed through several rolls of their PLA filament on both my Printrbot Simple Metal at home and my Flashforge Creator Pros at work – a middle school classroom. It prints well on both machines. I find 205 degrees Celsius to be the optimal temperature for most prints. Not all prints are perfect but I often find that the issue is more in the model than the filament. In other words, if my print has flaws when printed with Hatchbox, I can reprint using a different brand and the new print will have the same flaw. When this happens, making adjustments to the print settings (layer height, print speed, temperature) often helps. I recommend storing all PLA filament in zip loc bags or other airtight containers, with the silica gel packs tucked inside. I’ve had some rolls for close to a year and they still print flawlessly. I try to write helpful, concise reviews for all of my Amazon purchases. If you found this to be helpful, please let me know by clicking “yes” below. Thank you!
