From what I've seen in regards to reviews on hatchbox filament you could possibly get a great spool of filament like I did, or you could get something that's total garbage like some reviewers have stated. It's important to keep in mind that some of these reviews can be affected by each individual persons printer/print settings just as much as the quality of the filament itself. So far I have been lucky with hatchbox filaments. I've purchased white and "purple" in ABS as well as black PETG from hatchbox and all have printed just fine on my anet A8.

Best ABS filament! I have tried multiple brands of ABS filament for my Rostock Max V2, this has been the best so far. Extrudes smoothly without crackles. This makes it easy to get your printer dialed in and get good prints. I measured the actual diameter slightly under 1.75mm, so you will want to measure the spool you receive and adjust your settings accordingly.

Wish I would have listened and bought this when I first got my printer. I tried cheaper stuff at first and thought there was something wrong with my printer. After prime day came and went I had a few cash back credits on my card and decided it was time to give this a go. BEST DECISION YET. I have since bought more colors to print with. No clicking, smooth flow, nice finish.

Prusa MK2S - Hatchbox 3D ABS White 1.75mm. Since suggested print temp says 210c to 240c on packaging, I originally tried 235c with a bed temp of 85c and a density of 1.25 (per reading someone's info that I think was wrong). Lines were a little wavy and frayed. This test I was also using the sharpie trick of feeding the filament through a sharpie but my filament was breaking in the sharpie and I don't know if was from high heat or tension. Found another reference for density of 1.04 and tried that with a temp of 220c and bed temp of 85c. Lines were clean and sharp and layer adhesion was better and didn't use the sharpie trick. In both cases, adhesion to the print board was really good. I clean my print bed with 99% isopropyl alcohol to remove any oil and residue and don't use any adhesion aids. I'll be experimenting till I get this just right for this material but so far, I would buy again after fine tuning and getting some more models completed.

The product was well packaged and performed great when printing.

I was not expecting much when I read the reviews and all the trouble people have with screwing around with ABS on stock printers. I set the temperature, and it printed flawlessly without any other modifications to my Maker Select Plus. No slurry, no cage, no nothing, it just worked. I bought it because I couldn't get a part printed in PLA to not warp when attached to the heated bed (to connect a camera). I printed the exact same part in ABS, changing nothing other than the temperature in the settings, it printed perfectly and has held up for however long it's been since I purchased this with no signs of warping. I can't say anything better about it than that.

So far I have not had a quality issue while printing with this. Will order more! Working great for my current Pip-Boy project.

Just got it. I've been using another cheaper brand found on Amazon. And I have to tell you so far it is well worth the extra couple of bucks. First print out the gate and it looks great. Better layer adhesion than the other brand I've used. And no stringing. Or any artifacts to speak of. 3 small prints today and they each are beautiful. Started a big overnight print. If there is a failure of any kind on the filaments behalf I'll edit this in the morning.

Good quality for a good price. I was nervous about buying this sight unseen, but it turns out not to be an issue. The filament works just fine. I’m very happy with it. You may be able to find it in some places for a tiny bit less, but amazon provides all the other values that you benefit from, like quick shipping (free in my case), return policy if there’s a problem, and so on. Why go anywhere else?

This has worked fine for me. I've used it on an Afinia 800 printer and the results have been fine. Sometimes the MakerBot printers don't really like this filament and it becomes stringy but Makerbot isn't a great printer company anyways. This is great for the price, I've printed tons of things using one roll of this and haven't had any issues.
