Yes, it works

Very easy to install. Putty knife to pop the old one out and plug this one in. My light and panel were flashing when opening door. Now it works perfectly. Much better price than a new freezer!

Easy freezer control module replacement

Can't say enough, for a fraction of the repair cost I repaired my freezer and gave it new life with this EASY to install control module. The old one went blank. Simply turn off the power and with a clean putty knife (any flat thin metal will work) you can pop out the old one and install the new one. Turn power on and you are done! The appliance repair services wanted at least $275. I repaired it myself in 30 seconds for a little over $60. Simple and easy. I had no experience.

Works great saved me $450

Sears changed me $100 to tell me what was wrong with my freezer and then wanted to change me $450 to replace this part. I order the part and the installation took 2 min. One to pop out the old one and one to pop in to the new one.

This part was super easy to replace

My Deep freezer died on Good Friday. I troubleshot down to the front display control board. My digital display was showing miscellaneous LEDs on the panel but temp not going up nor down. I could cycle thru the LEDs and occasionally a 6 or an 8 would appear but thats all. Internal light works. Easter Sunday the new part arrived. I removed the old and swapped in the new Control Assy. The High Temp LED lit red, the digital panel went to 5 and the compressor immediately turned on. I checked back in two hours and my ice pack was already frozen. This was AWESOME!!!!!

Fixed the problem

Door alarm would not shut off, interior light would not come on.. food thawed out even thought it appeared to be working.. exterior of freezer was very warm to the touch.. Very easy to replaced, pop it out , swap the one connector and pop it back in..

Saved me from purchasing a new freezer! I couldn’t tell you how to install, my husband is my handy man. Thankfully he is knowledgeable enough to know not to throw our money away on a new freezer when all we needed was this piece!

An easy fix for a broken Sears upright freezer

Our freezer stopped working after a power surge. After seeing from a you tube video that this part might be the culprit, I ordered it. It was delivered the next day, and all I had to do was insert it where the old one was. Very easy! My husband and son were impressed that I fixed the freezer myself and didn’t have to call an appliance repairman.

Very easy to install

We returned from vacation to find our freezer not working and all of our food ruined! I did some research on the internet and found instructions on how to test the compressor to see if it had failed. My compressor was good and research on the Internet pointed to the control assembly. It is very easy to replace and did the job to fix my freezer.
