Weak no longer equals defeat

As a lazy person, I do not have any upper body strength. This weakness has resulted in countless battles with jars in my kitchen where I am left feeling meek and useless. This war is won by this brilliant creation. Never again will I have to call for my dad when faced with a jar of pasta sauce. Never again will I be left panting in defeat by a new bag of cereal. I deem that upon birth everyone should be gifted with this life saving tool. I could not brag about it more. In this modern world it is easy to not believe that true love exists, this is until you meet this sweet tool.

I bought this for my mother in law (after having had one myself for a couple of years) because she is losing hand strength and it's hard for her to open a lot of things. We stayed with her for a few days recently and she uses this many times throughout the day to open various things around the house. She LOVES it, and I love mine!

Terrific Versatile Opener!

My wife, who has arthritis (R.A.) loves this and uses it several times a day. She has given it to friends and recommended it to others, all have great things to say about it. It is very convenient, intuitive and easy to use. We highly recommend it. For the price it can’t be beat.

Very useful

My husband and I are both seniors who have lost strength in our hands. I have arthritis in my right thumb which makes it difficult for me to open many things. This handy little thing works great. I use it frequently in the kitchen and couldn't live without it now. It adapts to multiple sizes and types of bottles, jars, etc. It also is sturdy and high quality.

Great for sensitive or arthritic hands

Love this product. My wife has a skin condition that makes her hands sensitive, but this lets her open bottles, pop-top cans, and - most importantly - bottles of champagne without hurting her hands. I can imagine the effects would be similar for people with arthritis. I also use it to pop open beer bottles and open tight jars. Lots of uses!

It works!

I love this multi opener! I have nerve and muscle damage resulting in ridiculously weak hands following chemotherapy, combined with plain old osteoarthritis, and I've reached the point where I had to ask family members to open things like Gatorade bottles for me! Not anymore! I've used this on a wide variety of jars, bottles, and pull-tops, and it works like a charm. I haven't tried really big jars yet, but I will. So far, I've been able to open everything with ease - which is a nice change since usually opening a 2-liter bottle of soda is enough of a struggle to get my hands aching. But, using this, I've had no hand fatigue at all and it's given me back some independence, and at 55, I need my independence.

GREAT bottle, jar, even bag opener!

Awesome product! I've went through a couple of the U-Shape jar openers that you'll see on here, which eventually break, but figured they were cheap enough to re-order every 6-months. As I was about to reorder one, I came across this and figured it was worth a try. It works so much better than the other jar opener, as it truly grips the bottle/jar, and can even open up bags! It's very strudy and looks like it will last a long time. Definitely a great purchase!

Best Purchase I've Ever Made

I've ordered so many "tools" in an effort to make packaging easier to open. I am a retired senior and have arthritis in both hands, especially my thumbs. This is a winner. I am able to open everything now, without having to wait for my daughter to help me. This will be the last tool I have to buy to assist you in opening packaging and lids -- everything!

6 Inch Multiple Opener

This item is good when used to open jars and bottle openers. But, this item can't open jars larger that 3 inch in diameter. And people with small feminine hands will find 3 inch lids hard to remove with this device. The bottle opener is OK if you don't have a cheaper device around. The pull top tab is OK if you don't what to a break a nail. There is also a potato chip bag cutter if you don't have sizzors handy. The bottom line is that I like this device as a jar and bottle opener only. But, it might be handy to carry along on picnics and tail gate parties. It's got a lot of openers on it. But, watch the small kids when they use it. There are ways a person can pinch themselves with it.

Very Functional Tool

I love it. This is a very handy jar opener gadget to have especially if you have arthritis in your hand / thumb joint inflammation. It works especially good for grabbing & peeling those safety seals like on creamer, aspirin and vitamins. Works awesome on the pickle, sauce, jelly, pepperoncini pepper jars, and even medicine bottles with push and turn lids. I wish I would have found this a long time ago. It doesn't take a ton on room in the kitchen drawer to store.
