Model CX Now Configurable and Expandable?
I just purchased the SadoTech Model CX (March 2018). It is an attractive device.and easy to set up, With the many chime choices, you should be able to find one that suits you, The higher volume settings are plenty loud to be heard in adjoining rooms. In spite of the many answers given in the questions section, I was able to program a different chime for each of the two buttons. SadoTech has apparently recently upgraded this model to be expandable and compatible with the Starpoint models (again contrary to what is stated in the questions section.). The user guide that came with my SadoTech model CX has this paragraph in the opening section: " Product Introduction. SadoTech latest wireless doorbells are expandable series (learning code). and can work with Starpoint series doorbells. They are configurable and can be expanded to work with 20+ overall components, including additional receivers, doorbell buttons and sensors. For example, adding a door sensor can provide you with a door entry chime or entry alert system. Pairing additional parts can be done using a simple procedure in 10 seconds. The working range in open areas can reach 1000 feet." It would be nice if the seller (SW.LLC) would respond and confirm that this upgrade has been applied to the entire SadoTech C series as it adds considerable value to the product series. Assuming the above information is correct, I do now plan to expand my system by adding a second receiver so I can hear the bell in my garage. Follow up: I took a chance and ordered a second receiver ... the Starpoint model LR. I was able to program both transmitter buttons that came with the SadoTech model CX so that they ring both the SadoTech CX receiver and the Starpoint LR receiver. The information given in the product listings, questions and reviews about the SadoTech C series not being expandable and not being compatible with Starpoint is apparently no longer correct.

Perfect for multiple uses
Our family room is in the basement and the kids rooms are on the top floor, so we purchased this in order for the kids to have a way to call for us without shouting from 2 floors away. This items works perfectly for that purpose. The ringer is plugged in downstairs and each kid has one of the clickers to activate the doorbell. Now if they need something or are ready for "lights out" at night, they just press a button and we know they need one of us.

Great product. Does what it's supposed to.
My ten year old custom built (by someone else) house did not have a doorbell wired in. Being a split floor plan and most people going to the garage door on the other end of the house, a knock was never heard. I researched doorbells for awhile and came across this one with very good reviews. I needed two ringers for my front door and my garage door, and one transmitter that could be plugged in to the center area of the house so that it could be heard from almost anywhere in the house. They worked great. Easy to install (and my husband screwed them in instead of taping them) and the one that is the farthest away from the transmitter (the one at the garage door) works great. No problems with the transmitter picking it up. Our house is 2200 sq ft and I have no problems with this working at any door. I plugged the transmitter into my bookshelf in my living room because although this isn't the most terrible looking device, it's still kind of sticks out if left in the middle of a room somewhere (i originally plugged it into my arch over my island and it was a little obvious). Even back up in the bookshelf where the plug is it is very loud and I am able to hear it just about anywhere in the house. It serves it's purpose, looks decent, and is very LOUD. The location of the buttons is not directly left out in the elements---the one in the garage is fully covered but will get some humidity...the other is under our porch and may get a little wet with crazy winds and will be directly exposed to the sun during the day as well. Hopefully they hold up to that!

Easy to set up - lots of choices for bell tone and volume - plug receiver (door chime) into any receptacle - nice. Update (7 months later): For an as-yet undetermined reason, the receiver unit failed after 6 months. The remote transmitter buttons worked, but the doorbell chime unit itself did not. I contacted SatoTech customer support, and after providing proof of purchase and a short video documenting the non-working receiver, I received a new unit at no cost. I hope this one lasts longer than the first, but wanted to share their response to my request for a replacement.

Amazing Wireless Doorbell
I really like this door bell. It looks elegant and modern with its LED light based design. It looks great on your wall. It also works great under reasonable distance. My apartment is in the third floor and it still works perfectly. I put the receiver in the center of the 4 bedroom apartment and we can all hear of the bell. Additional, this doorbell (transmitter particularly) can stand for different weathers. After a year, it still looks new. The battery also lasts quite long. For a year now, I have not changed the battery since the first installation. I would recommend this doorbell if you are looking for one.

I've seen other peoples' remote doorbells break or go unused after the batteries die but this one had lasted quite nicely. The led light illuminates the bell at night and the speaker can be set to volume that meets my needs. I have 2 dogs that love to bark at the bell so I change the ring up every once in a while so they don't know to bark. Install was as easy as sticking the double sided tape on them, cleaning the surface of the doorway, and holding them in place for a minute. Plug in the receiver and your in business.

Not just a doorbell for me.
I bought this doorbell set, but not to use as a doorbell. I am a in home nurse and needed something that my patient could use as a call light. I am a sound sleeper and baby monitor and cow bell just wasn't the answer, the patient would end up yelling. Thought I would try this product and has work beautifully. Being able to change the music so I don't used to the same sound has worked great. Love the fact the music plays longer than a regular doorbell is a great plus. One remote is in the bedroom and the other in the living room, wherever the patient happens to be. I highly recommend this product not only as a doorbell, but for those that are caregivers. Easy to setup, to use and has great range.

Great doorbell!
We are completely happy with our doorbell purchase. It is sturdy and was easy to install. I like that the internal bell can be plugged in to the outlet of your choice and also has volume control. I can recommend this product!

I love this doorbell.
My house has two gates into my property, one on the street side of the house, and another one at the garden, front. Many people have been confused by it, as well as the delivery people. This product is the answer to my dilemma. I have a different ring for each gate, so I know to come out and greet people or delivery personnel. I searched the internet for many weeks, and I believe that this is the best option for this type of property.

Loud enough and distance is not a problem.
This is the second wireless doorbell that we have purchased. The first one from GE only worked when the button and receiver were within about 20 feet of each other. The second button was about 30 feet away and wouldn't work with the distance. It also wasn't very loud. We couldn't hear it on the highest volume setting while in the next room. We returned it and purchased the Sado Tech doorbell. The doorbell is loud enough to hear while in another room, in fact throughout most of the house. It also had no issues with the distance and walls blocking the signal. Our second button is outside of the garage with 3 walls between the button and receiver with no problems.
