high quality.
It seems to be made of high quality stainless steel and feels good. It is suitable for repair work in the range of 8-13mm lens, and be careful of sharp stab wounds when using.

Best tool in the tool chest
This is a time, cost saver for the little problems you may have with lens. If your looking to buy a lens for whatever your using and find words like fungus or dust in the lens. This is the product for you, because I have a few which I paid 5-20 dollars that had little problems like dust and fungus but were great lenses. So if your looking to save a few coins, and are into photography this item is one of your best tool in your tool chest.

One of those tools that pay for themselves one its first use
You can mess around trying to unscrew lens rings without this and risk significant damage, or get the tool and be done with the removal in seconds.

Works Every Time!
The 5 stars are based on function vs price. There are definitely better spanner wrenches available, but they're at 2X to 5X the price. The wrench comes with two styles of tip - a flat blade and pointed one. The main drawback of this item is that the position of the two tips easily loosens and shifts, requiring constant attention. However, it does come with set screws that are tightened with a supplied Allen wrench. I use the Allen set screw for one side of the span (securely tightened), and use the hand tightened know for the other side of the span. So one side is always in the same position, and the other side moves according to the diameter of the ring that I'm loosening or tightening. I use the Neewer spanner wrench for adjusting and cleaning telescope and binocular lenses. They have worked every time, even when the set rings had been set extremely tight. Since they have never failed to do what I've wanted, I consider them to be an excellent product for the very reasonable price.

I wouldn't give it up. Spoiled now.
I love this tool. You can tighten its position with a thumb screw for quick adjustments or a hex socket for a more secure hold.

Gets the job done for occasional use
Does the job. As someone mentioned, the points tend to wander unless it's very tightly secured - solution is to fix one semi-permanently with the included set screw and move the other one relative to it. For the price and for occasional use, it's a great bargain. If you're an optical technician who needs a secure tool for day in, day out use, you should invest in a more expensive solution. For telescope and camera hobbyists, this is a very good product.

It does the job
This repair kit saved the dang day!! I was so worried about my lens and thought it was a goner when it got sand in it. The picks are adjustable so they can spread to fit any size lens and each has a tightening knob to keep it in place on the bar.
