Worked Like a Charm

Use this to check the temp of my pizza stone on the Kamado grill. Only way to know when the stone is up to temp, takes longer than you would think. Also to check cast iron pan. Especially when making pancakes, ever wonder why the first batch don't seem to brown like the second?

My car's AC was feeling not cold at all. I needed to test the temperature difference from the initial to the final as I was adding freon to the AC system. I need to stop adding freon once I got to 72 degrees. This gave me a good measurement of the AC air tempurature so I didn't go overfill my AC system. AC is working 6 months later with no problem. Plus it is fun to just point it at things to see the temp. As, I used it for the home AC and drafty windows.

Good value!!!

For the price, works surprisingly well. I am a very satisfied customer. The only issue I had with it was fitting a "lithium" 9V battery in the pistol grip. It just barely fit, but the battery compartment plastic cover (one half of the grip) won't quite snap closed. Nevertheless, this product works exactly as advertised, is a handy to have "point and shoot" IR temperature monitoring hand tool, and certainly a good value. I especially like the backlighting in the LCD and degrees C to F readout conversion features.

I have been having a "disagreement" with my landlords over the A/C. I live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and it gets really hot down here. The maintenance dude kept telling me there was nothing wrong with the A/C and his handy dandy electric thermometer proved it. The next day I ordered one to prove him wrong. He has been wrong every time we've had a "disagreement" over this issue. I would recording this to everyone.

Get this!! for your Grill! for your Pool! for your Nitro RC! whatever! you can't beat this deal, i got 2; 1 for kitchen inside, 1 for grill outside. Begins reads temp half second or so before display turns on--REMEMBER, depending on your distance from your target, the laser dot isnt always pointing directly at the item you are trying to temp. Like at 1ft the temp reads about .5inch below the laser dot, but at 3ft the temp reads right at the dot.

Accurate, fast, amazing little piece of tech!

This is a pretty cool and sleek little temp gun! Readings match my probe thermometer. Best temp gun for the price for a bearded dragon if you're on a budget. My little guy is super happy and I can keep his temps monitored at ALL times. I cannot stress this enough: BUY IT! Don't think twice.

Great value for a product that matches high end quality

I had been wanting one of these for a long time but found the usual price prohibitive, even from high volume Chinese merchant/distributors. I got a smaller one for a little less and it's OK but the range doesn't match this unit. the applications are endless. It's an outstanding value for a piece of quality merchandise. I highly recommend it at the $12+ price.

Sucess at last

My wife was complaining about the oven temperature being inaccurate so I bought the Cooper Atkins 24HP Oven Thermometer to put inside the oven....that was a mistake because it takes forever to get the temperature reading up to speed. And it still was providing suspicious results. So I purchased the Nubee Infrared Thermometer and it does everything I wanted an oven thermometer to do, fast and accurately. Open the door and shoot, close the door your done. No more getting out a flashlight to read the oven thermometer through the oven door. Now I have found other handy uses for the Nubee, like measuring the temps on reheated items from the microwave. Checking the refrigerator and freezer temps. Even my morning coffee....

Works great for an inexpensive thermometer

Works great for an inexpensive thermometer, it is very accurate within a few feet of the object you are pointing at when you have the emissivity dialed in correctly. Great for the hobbyist, useful in checking for cold spots around windows & doors. I use it for checking temps when working on cars. I would recommend this if you need a thermometer once in a while. If you need one for daily work there are better, but more expensive, models.

Great product

I bought this till I could afford a more expensive Infrared Thermometer. I use it ever day as an HVAC Technician. I compared the accuracy of the temperature to the $130.00 thermometer I wanted and they are within 0.1˚F of each other. I noticed the accuracy decreases drastically when further than 5 feet away. The laser stopped working after walking through the rain one day, but the temperature still works. The plastic feels cheap, but has held up fairly well getting thrown around in my work truck. This will definitely be something I buy again when it is time to get another.
