I really like this printer. The print quality is excellent and I'm using a generic ink cartridge. The ink cartridge prints about a 1000 pages compared to my desktop printer's 3000-6000 pages. Easy setup. I just connected the USB cord, that is included, to my laptop. It also supports WiFi so I can print directly from my phone using the Samsung app. The fold-down paper tray is adjustable to print envelopes. Printer controls are on top and light-up. The power cord completely detaches. The printer is 2 inches longer than a sheet of paper and 7 inches tall. It prints 21ppm. It's as quiet as any home laser printer. I regularly use mine in libraries w/o any complaints or negative staring. I own 4 great laser printers. But having one with me was like carrying a small microwave. Inkjet printers are smaller but they print about 150 pages. If you're lucky they require only 2 inkjet cartridges to print anything, because who looked at the ink cartridges BEFORE buying printer or running out of ink? Plus, laser printing looks so much better than inkjet. One day, I absolutely needed a 22-page document in an hour. I found out the library has a daily 20-page limit. Literally their printers won't print a document if it counts more than 20 pgs or your library card might exceed the daily limit. Fortunately their staff, because they knew me, made an exception by putting their code in the printer. FedEx Office charges nearly 15 cents per page, provided you find parking and there aren't long lines. So, one of the best decisions I've made was buying this printer. PROS: Everything! Price, print quality, well-built, easy use, easy setup, lightweight, size, noise-level, mobility, WiFi, Apple/Android/PC compatible, etc. CONS: No scanner, carrying bag included, color printing, or automatic 2-sided printing. All are easily solvable! Use a mobile scanner app or take a photo. Buy carryon luggage or duffle bag. (I'd rather save the money than get a cheap MSRP bag included). Manually flip the paper to print on the other side. Go to FedEx Office to get far superior color printing. Their color printers cost $15,000+ each. Besides 95% of all printing is black and white. Note: HP just released their version of this printer. As near as I can tell, the only difference is there's is all-white. And don't forget to carry paper!

I hate buying color print cartridges so we decided to try this laser printer. SUPER impressed. I can't get it on my wireless network because the driver from Samsung is broken when I download it, but that is a separate issue So it is plugged into my computer, but other than that it is a great machine. Prints quickly and the laser aspect is nice. It is a small printer and fits well under my desk. HIGHLY recommend. I have had it for about 2 months and it has been a champ thus far. I am still using the sample toner that came with it. I can't say how many pages I have printed, but my husband it going to grad school and my daughter has needed a lot of class work printed out. I did exhaustive research on printers and I am super happy I bought this!

I simply got tired of those crappy inkjet printers that ate expensive cartridges and then only worked right at the beginning of their all-too-short lifespan. So, since it seemed I wasn't going to get a decent color print anyway, I gave up on having color in return for having reliable legible grayscale printing. This product prints super fast and I haven't had it long enough to see if it lives up to its promise of 1500 prints per cartridge, but I suspect it will produce enough printing per cartridge to satisfy me. I haven't tried hooking it up wirelessly yet - it sits right next to my computer so the cord is easy. It's small and easy to load paper. So far, I'm happy with this purchase. (Another friend who was unhappy with inkjet printers for the same reasons that I was recommended this solution and he's happy with his non-Samsung printer as well.) Before you buy this, however, check the price of replacement cartridges to make sure this is what you want. I found the price to be very reasonable. Especially in light of the fact that I wasted $80 for inkjet cartridges for that piece of crap printer right before it died.

I did a lot of research for an inexpensive home/mobile use printer that I could use wirelessly! I'm happy I came across this one. The printing is fast and professional as stated. The included toner will give you about 500-700 pages before you have to go out and buy your own. Connecting thuan printer to my WiFi router at home! Couldn't have been any easier. It literally took less than 2 minutes. You have the option to connect via your desktop or mobile app. It is SEAMLESS! We have bought this printer for business use, and has not let us down! We are truly happy with this purchase. Recently we noticed, Samsung has a similar color printer to this , and that is prob our next buy. Printing off your phone couldn't be any easier. I have clients come over all the time, and love how easy it is to print off their phones whatever documents they forgot. Shipping was fast... got here in a day ! You won't regret it....

Bought this printer because it handles small paper. We're printing on 4-1/4" by 2-7/8" pages, and it handles this paper size on the SHORT dimension without the paper getting stuck. We just printed 1700 (small) pages over the course of 6 hours with only one caveat: the toner did start having problems fully adhering to the page after about 50 pages in a row. We suspect the pages are coming out too hot and the toner smears a little post-print. Pointing a fan at the printer for the extended printing session got us more time, but the printer still eventually overheated. It kept printing and never shut down, but toner started not adhering as well. It's really not designed for continuous use, so I'm not surprised. We were working it way harder than it was designed for. Problem was easily solved by swapping out printers when one got too hot (we bought 4 of these printers). As a regular-page-size printer, it's awesome for the money, and a real workhorse. Toner ran out relatively fast, but seems reasonable for the money. In our experience so-far, it continued to try to print on cartridges it thought were empty, until the toner finally ran so low that the print actually started to wash out. I suspect I could keep printing indefinitely on a totally empty cartridge, which means it should be pretty refill-friendly, but I haven't yet tested this theory. Overall, great product, and if using it for more "normal" intermittent use of 1-50 pages at a time, you should be in great shape with it.

This is an amazing printer that fits most (if not all) of my office needs: 1 - It is small (8.5 x 13.1 x 7 inches) enough that you can elegantly put it anywhere. 2 - It is gorgeous looking and at the same time very discreet (unlike those big do-it-all machines no one can miss). 3 - Works silently enough. 4 - Prints 21 ppm (which is quite fast). 5 - Extremely easy to setup... actually I had it running in less that five minutes. 6 - By far the easiest-to-setup wireless printer I've ever seen (if you have an iPad, just get the Samsung Mobile Print app from iTunes and that's it!). 7 - Amazing printing quality. Even the eco mode looks great!! 8 - Installing the toner is easy. My only HUGE problem with this printer is the price of the toner. Nowhere I can find it for less than $50. So basically, you are buying a new printer every two toners - which seems to be how those brands make their money nowadays (the printer is cheap, the ink... that's another story - LOL!). The instructions say that one toner lasts for an average of 1000 pages... that is $0,05 per page. Those numbers look horrible to me. ...BUT to be completely honest, those toner prices are in line with all the other models and brands I've seen. So in the end, you should still pick the printer that suits you best. I would suggest you do some research before buying ANY printer, because what you are getting is a commitment to buy its toners (and that's where your money will systematically be). RECOMMENDED!!

After years of using a inkjet printer which I was happy with. I just got tired of buying all that ink. The ink got more expensive and refilling it myself was just not worth my time. Saw another Samsung model printer being promoted on one of the technical blogs I frequent. They were sold out. Amazon was also sold out, for the same price. This Samsung model was "suggested" so I checked out the reviews and decided to purchase for the price given! I also purchased the Samsung toner as well. I know, I know...there are off name brands that were offered cheaper. But for my first time I purchased the Samsung toner. The printer had a toner, setup CD and the USB cord included. The instructions were quite clear and easy to set up. I have a Apple IPhone 6 Plus and an IPad 2. I also have a Dell very, very old laptop. I did not plug in the printer to warm it up as instructed. I inserted the CD and followed the step by step instructions. When it came up to go wireless or USB. There was also a step where you could set up with the USB "temporarily and after setup disconnect USB." I chose that one. Followed every step, there was a point where you "Power on-connect USB" etc. and then at the "Finish." I disconnected the USB from my laptop to the printer. I checked if the Samsung was listed under printers on my Dell laptop and it was! I only had to check it as my "default." Then I checked my IPhone 6+ and there it was after I "searched for printers" and then I printed a test and it worked perfectly! I then checked my IPad2 and again there was the printer! Printed a test page and was successful. I did not download any app into my IPhone or IPad...there was no need too. The Apples just picked the printer up! And as I said before my Dell did the same. The printer is very compact and takes no space at all. It also goes to sleep after a time. But I completely turn it off when I am done using it. And the best part is the "Eco-printing" step that you can use before you print so as to save toner. It prints in grayscale! I was also very satisfied when it prints normally. The black toner works very well. Some reviews have complained on the cost of the toner. But it is not a game stopper for me,12,000 pages vs 300 in black or grayscale.

For those who are asking about toner alternatives:E-Z Ink (TM) Compatible Toner Cartridge 2K Replacement for Samsung 111S 111L MLT-D111S MLT-D111L (2 Black Toners) Compatible With Xpress M2020W Xpress 2070FW Printer Sorry for the long post:E-Z Ink (TM) Compatible Toner Cartridge 2K Replacement for Samsung 111S 111L MLT-D111S MLT-D111L (2 Black Toners) Compatible With Xpress M2020W Xpress 2070FW Printer - Toner for Samsung SL-M2020W. I purchased an extra Samsung brand toner as I knew the new printer would have a cartridge that has a smaller amount of toner (as most printer brands do). Yes, they are expensive. Then I started reading the review on several different vendor websites about toner comments. I selected EZink Premium Toner Cartridge through Amazon MLT-D111L for M2020 (2 pieces--i.e., two cartridges). It comes with a 100% Quality Guarantee. And two cartridges in the box. - Invoice Description: E-Z Ink (TM) Compatible Toner Cartridge 2K Replacement for Samsung 111S 111L MLT-D111S MLT-D111L (2 Black Toner Cartridges) Compatible With Xpress SL-M2020W Xpress SL-M2070W Xpress SL-M2070FW Printer by E-Z Ink $16.99. Saw and sharing from EZINK: - Website: Samsung User -- This note appears when buying E-Z Ink: when we put this toner in to a samsung m2020w did not recognize it and did not work, what can we do? --asked on October 21, 2015 - Answer by EZINK -- Never allow manufacturers to update your printer. There is a chip on the side of the Samsung toner, remove the chip and place it on the EZINK toner. EZINK should be aware of this problem and provide duplicate chips on their toners. --Amazon Customer answered on October 23, 2015

UPDATE: After about two hours of setup, it seems that I just needed to restart my computer one last time (in addition to the printer) to clear whatever errors were preventing me from printing wirelessly. Will update again if it stops working. Couldn't get wireless printing to work with this, even after getting on the phone with their tech support. My router is the newest and most popular router available on amazon, and my computer is a MacBook with the latest operating system installed (as of 2/1/2017), so it's not like my hardware is outdated. It seems like the last time they updated the driver for this was 2015, so it looks like Samsung has just stopped supporting this printer. Don't bother with it, it's just a waste of your time and money.

If I could give this printer FIFTY stars, I would! We all know the deal, you get a printer at a great price, only to spend hours ripping out your hair wishing you didn't buy another blasted printer!! We've ALL been there, folks! Well, low and behold- this was not the case with this little bundle of JOY. I bought this printer specifically for coupons and eBay labels when I sell. Other reviews have stated it''s as easy as pie, and they are 100% correct. Including unboxing, this printer took me less than 10 minutes to connect and print wireless from my laptop and iPhone 6 Plus. I have another Samsung printer that is a color laser and it still works like a charm and I have printed MANY items and labels on it. I"d highly recommend this printer to anyone that needs something small and easy to use. This does come with the toner in the box, it's inside the machine when you receive it. LOVE this printer so far and I am very happy with this purchase. Samsung did it right and the price point is crazy cheap.
