I'll give it a 5 star, there's really nothing that has gone wrong with so far! For a starter tattoo kit it has worked wonders. Some people say the colors bleed out but all the color I have packed into my pieces have not bled out and stayed pretty true. The power supply has worked fine and given me hours and hours of time and is still kicking. The liner gun has worked great as well as the shader. Comes with a decent amount of needles (r3, r5, m7, m5) really all the needles you need to do whatever you would like. The pedal is a little bare bones but works just fine. All around the whole kit is totally worth it and is good enough quality to last. It's not professional stuff but it works just fine to get you started until you see if tattoo work is for you and your ready to upgrade.

Great kit for a beginner BUT THE INKS ARE HORRIBLE. I only tried them out on 3 small tatts and they all had disgusting looking reactions, were very painful and the ink didn't stay in the skin. This happened with different colors and black on different people each time. Also I personally think its much easier(less steps putting the machine together) and more hygienic to buy disposable tubes, needles and grips instead of using the metal tubes and grips in this kit. Also had to tune the shader to get it to work but that's to be expected. Besides those minor things this really is a great kit to start out with for the price and we have got some really awesome tatts out of it.

Ok so, where to begin??? I have NEVER handled a tattoo gun...spent many joyful hours under one, but never held one. Until this kit came in. I stenciled the lotus flower (photos show original picture, linework, and shaded lotus). This was on the bigwasp practice skin that came with the kit. After a week or so of playing around with it, I decided to try my wrist, where i inked the bipolar smiley. As you can see in the pictures, I promptly stenciled a cherry blossom branch and went to town. This tattoo is my first ever I'm super stoked. These guns are awesome. The link to the instructional videos is easy enough and the videos are super easy to understand. I'm really happy with my purchase. I'm new to this and I'm really happy I got a good kit the first time around. I had no issues with the ink either. I've heard good things about immortal ink. So far so good. I would highly recommend this kit for a beginner artist!

Got this for my wife as a Valentine’s Day gift. She is an artist that’s always wanted to try tattooing. Seems like a good beginner kit to practice with. I probably would spend more money if it were going to be used to give an actually tattoo just for piece of mind but it seems pretty good. Tattoo machines are pretty simple by design so I’m sure you could do good real tattoos with it. Instructions were kinda vague.

I was going to rate this a five but I got it only two days ago for my birthday and both the liner and shader gun sparked and broke. It was very fun to use, but I didn’t expect it to break so soon. Hoping to get my money back for it... I changed the rating to a 5 because the customer service was phenomenal and they had no problem refunding me for the defect!

I/we have zero experience with doing tattoos, I have several as does my brother but neither of us ever touched a tattoo machine. Well out of nowhere I decided this seemed like a great idea! Our wives disagreed but that didn't stop us! This setup along with approximately 4 minutes of extensive training via YouTube we were ready to go. Now as I stated no experience with tattooing and even less talented in art, we were ready to put needle to skin! It is easy to use and worked incredibly well! I found that if someone draws something on me I can trace it/follow the lines pretty good! I can freehand tattoo stick figures like a champ! By the way, it is my new favorite tattoo! Now on to the important stuff. The only part of description I thought seemed bad was the pedal. I thought about ordering a better pedal along with the kit but decided to wait in case I was totally horrible at tattoos but to my surprise the upgraded pedal is now included in the kit! As a matter of fact most everything that people complained about in reviews was upgraded! This seller should really take a moment to update the photos and descriptions. Another item was the power supply, it looks better than the one pictured! Another thing I held off on buying was some expensive inks. People complained that it didn't work at all or was faint or didn't do anything correctly at all, if this is the problem, chances are you have your machine set up wrong! This ink worked great on our tattoos. Very bright and colorful. I hope to God it fades and disappears as we did end up with some questionable stuff! Not all was bad though! Seriously though watch videos and read up up while you wait for your delivery! You will see that most bad reviews about this setup are all user error! When you break it all down, tattoo machines are a simple machine and there isn't much to go wrong. You can't just throw on a tube and a needle and go. If you set it up wrong you will end up with a prison tattoo that was done with a staple and a burnt plastic checkers piece. If your not going to follow the directions and learn before you start, just sharpen up a staple and go crazy. Keep everything sterile and don't reuse anything, replacement needles etc. Are cheaper than an infection! The art is forever, unless you get an infection and lose an arm or something! Remember that this is a real tattoo machine and the tattoo is forever! Also if it seems to painful, it may be the placement! Some parts of your body hurt way more than others! Another thing I have recently found out is that some very talented artists can't tattoo to save their life and then you got people who have no artistic talent but can tattoo with a stencil/flash incredibly well! Use the practice skin or bananas work great before you go for that face tattoo you've been wanting! Or put it where the sun don't shine? Remember I am not a professional. I am not even an amateur. I am not even qualified enough to sweep the floor of a tattoo studio, but after reading some reviews and hearing some other stories, maybe some of this review may help someone! This is way cheaper than going to a professional shop, it may not be as good but you just keep practicing and you will get better! Don't quit and it will pay for itself in one use guaranteed!

For 40 bucks--are you kidding me? This is a fantastic set for a beginner like me. Sure the ink isn't the best, but you're getting a whole kit for 40 dollars, what do you expect? Everything else is fantastic. If your power supplies are popping, and then no longer working, it's because you're not doing it right. You're putting to much power through the device, so the fuse will break to prevent potentially worse damage. You need to take some time to tune up your gun before you start so you don't have to run it so high. This happened to me, so after a little Youtube, I figured everything out. To fix your power supply you just need to take the circuit board out of the case, locate and remove the damaged fuse, then replace it. Solder it all back--and there you go! Very satisfied.

Before ordering this Kit I had never tatttoed anything. This kit is very easy to assemble and use. I used the practice skin, but I feel like it does not represent tattooing on a person so i practiced on myself ... This product has literally paid for itself after one use. If you are a beginner or not sure if you want to get into tattooing, I would recommed getting this kit. it comes with everything you need +. People have complained about the inks not being the best but I think that depends on how your skin takes the ink. Im a brown man and the reds and yellows look great. The Black ink that comes with it isnt the darkest so I would get another bottle. Black Budda is really good. I imagine this machine will break down after awhile but again for the price it is a perfect starter.

Awesome kit for the price!! Missing a couple things but comes with just about everything you need. Quality was surprisingly good for the price!! One thing, get separate ink!!! Guns needed some tuning, but I read other reviews, saying the guns were sparking!? The kit comes with spare gun parts and mine runs like a 500$ gun with some fine tuning I performed. Very happy with the tattoos I have done with it so far.

I had absolutely no knowledge on how to tattoo or how to set up my equipment prior to buying this kit. The video I watch was somewhat helpful but I pretty much just googled anything I didn’t fully understand. I finally got everything put together & used the practice skin.. it was nothing like what I expected so I decided to just wing it and tattoo my arm. I’m very happy with this kit & my first tattoo didn’t turn out bad!! 100% recommend for anyone potentially interested in this profession to see if tattooing is for you. 😃
