I love This vaccum
I love This vaccum. It does great on any floors . The attachments and the upholstery brush is the bomb . It gets the carpet really clean and it is easy to maintain , It is not heavy . It turns the carpet and picks up so much dirt . This investment is worth it . My Kirby third generation did not pick up half the dirt this thing does. I researched all the shark vacuums and I am happy with this one , easy to swivel , but if you detach the container , the suction goes with the container , you cannot take the container off so you can vaccum under something, the pic is misleading in that , you would need a proper attachment to go under something.

Great vacuums
This is my second Shark. My old one had a small hole in the hose and since Shark no longer makes that model, I couldnt fix it. I got it last night, vacuumed with my old red and white. Then blue. Then vacuumed again this morning with blue. Ew. Dogs, and carpet is so gross. I do feel better knowing that Shark is really sucking up a LOT of small matter though

Awesome vacuum! I love it!
OMG! I think I am in love! I just got my new vacuum delivered today. It's a Shark lift away deluxe. I paid $160 for it on Amazon (thank you Aunt Barbara Thropp) my other vacuum is a $500 Kirby I literally just finished vacuuming my floors when UPS showed up with this beauty. I took it out of the package put it together and vacuumed my floors again! I can't believe all the extra dirt and dog hair it picked up it's crazy. My floors even feel better under my feet!

It just works!
One of the reviews I read had this vacuum beating a $500.00 model. I now believe it. My wife and I have both noticed that our carpet is now softer feeling. The swivel "steering" makes for easy control. The sound is so much quieter than our old one that our dog now walks away instead of running into the next room! The first time I used it, I had to empty it 5 times as it got up so much more dog hair, etc. than our old one. This is one fine vacuum. And I am glad I ordered an extra set of filters as the manual states to wash the filters when they get dirty and then let them dry for 24 hours. So now I can rotate their usage. All in all, a great value. Highly recommend this vacuum.

Truly changed how I feel about vacuuming
We've been using this for over a year and it's completely changed the way I clean our small house. I was set on getting a cordless stick vacuum and ended up changing my mind basically on a whim, and I'm so glad about this choice. Before this we had a decent vacuum that was heavy and always smelled dusty because it was hard to clean, and I dreaded vacuuming. But this exceeded expectations, especially for the cost, and the first time we used it we were truly shocked at how much dust and pet hair our previous vacuum had missed. Like, couldn't decide whether it was amazing or horrifying. I really like the narrow profile and swivel for getting around furniture. It works really well on our hardwood floors as well as our carpet. I have three very minor complaints about this design: 1) debris tends to get caught along the left side of the canister, which takes away from what's otherwise a super easy process to clean it out; 2) you can't detach the hose from the base without fully unwinding the cord, which is occasionally annoying; 3) it's fairly top-heavy, so my toddler can push it over easily if he can get to it.

Terrific Vacuum
Before I buy anything, I always read reviews. I was concerned by reviews that said this vacuum had limited maneuverability and a short cord. Some said to bypass this model for a Dyson. Given the fact that I could buy 2-3 of these for a Dyson I decided to purchase the Shark. I'm very glad I did. I want a vacuum that is going to make my life easier and be quick and efficient so I can be in, out and done. The suction power of this vacuum is truly amazing. I sucked up a frightening amount of dirt that had been left behind by my old Hoover that admittedly was on its last leg. The suction is good enough to clean right up to the wall without using a tool. The suction is SO good that I have to switch arms while vacuuming to keep pulling back against the suction. The vacuum is also fairly light weight so lugging it up and down the stairs is not an issue. In regards to my concerns from other reviews, I have very large rooms and I was able to strategically plug in the middle of the room and make it without having to move the cord. The cord is shorter than prior vacuums I have owned but it is workable. In regards to the maneuverability, I can vacuum around a circular table and stay right at the edge the whole way around. I'm not sure what others were expecting but I am thrilled with the way it corners around table legs and other round objects too heavy to move. The dust cup is very easy to empty and stay clean doing it. My only real issue with this machine is the small size of the dust cup. I have kids and dogs and have a lot of teenagers through my house daily. I am having to stop to empty the dust cup a couple times in my larger well used rooms. I guess if I have to stop so much to empty the cup it wouldn't be a big deal to move the cord.... All in all with my goal of a quick efficient machine to make my life easier, this Shark totally fits the bill. I will live with the small dust cup and stopping to empty it frequently - it means that it is working well. As long as the machine continues with its powerful suction, this is a terrific vacuum.

I love this vacuum
I love this vacuum. I've had expensive vacuums before... and hated them from the second or third use. I've had cheapo vacuums that worked for a bit but crapped out within a few months. I have never enjoyed vacuuming. I always vacuumed as little as ~absolutely~ necessary. With the Shark Navigator I actually enjoy vacuuming! (I mean, I'm still not doing it for fun ;) but I'm also not actively avoiding it!) I end up vacuuming the whole house anytime it's out just because it's actually not an insufferable chore with the Shark. And I'll usually end up doing something extra like the cobwebs in the corners or dusting a shelf while I'm at it because the attachments are also easy to work with. I often end up buying a tool that I think will be ~the~ solution to all of my household problems (when really the solution would be to just DO the work!) and then the tool just sits there because the problem is ~me~ not the tools but with the Shark I have been pleasantly surprised that it actually HAS helped just because it's so easy and comfortable to use.

YASSSSSS🙌🏼
I truly am a real reviewer, so you can trust this rating (I know that sounds like something a fake reviewer would say lol but I’m genuine I promise! Lol) Anyway! I give this vacuum 5 stars not because it’s perfect but because for the value you truly do get an incredible vacuum. This vacuum does the job very well, is convenient to use, and emptying the bin is easier than ever! I’ve had other vacuums where you empty the bin but there are still things stuck deep inside where you have to break your fingers to get it out. With this vacuum I simply open it over the trash and everything.. yes EVERYTHING falls right out, then you put it back on the vacuum and it’s ready for the next use. The tools it comes with are awesome as well and overall you can’t go wrong with this vacuum. I return everything I buy if I’m not satisfied with it, and I’ve had this vacuum for close to half a year now. Now would I have liked the wires to rewind? Sure.. but not a big deal.

Just like everything else I buy on amazon
Just like everything else I buy on amazon, I read the reviews on products until I confuse myself as to what I should buy. I am glad I settled on this vacuum, best amazon purchase I've had in a while. It can detach for portability, suction like a boss, attachments that come with are great but I also bought an additional kit, it is easy to clean and it is not super bulky. You can reach any spot in the house! What more do you need? Just make sure you empty the vacuum after use and shake out the filter and this thing will treat you right!

It's a beast!
I've had a Dyson dc07 for ever and ever... Till the plastic clips got too brittle and broke.... Turns out they do lose suction.... I had no idea how bad it was until I got the little beauty! Half way.... HALFWAY through one room I had to stop and empty the canister. Also, the pull when you turn on the brush is considerable! I have ancient horrible carpets and they looked a good 8 years younger than before. The assembly of the guy is soooooo straightforward and easy, a child could do it. If there is anything I would change it would be the placement of the release clips for emptying the canister. Dyson got this one right with the trigger on the top instead of a clip at the bottom.... Otherwise, this thing is perfect! And for the price, I'll deal with a little awkward canister clean out.
