Awesome velcro, great product, works great, would buy again
Great value, works perfectly. Got tired of my car's toll transponder falling so I cut off 3 inches of this and now that thing is affixed to my window with effective irrevocability. I don't know what I'm going to do with the other roughly 117 inches, but with the strength of this stuff, I am ok with the suspense. Would recommend to someone who really loves velcro.

Good enough to make some points with the wife!
Bought these to affix the trays to the side of the console in my wife's Tahoe between the seat and the console to fit in the gap so she does not lose her phone, pens, pencils, lipsticks, keys and other stuff down in the gaps. So far the velcro strips are working just fine ad she is happy. If she is happy, so am I.

Great, non-destructive way to mount acoustic panels!
VELCRO Brand - Extreme Outdoor - Extreme - 4" x 1" Strips, 10 Sets - Titanium I just bought a condo and converted a dark, ugly bedroom to a light, bright recording studio. After four coats of paint (primer followed by three coats of peach) I was NOT keen on putting 32 large screws with drywall sleeves on them into the walls to hold up acoustic tiles and panels! The acoustic fiberglass panels seemed lightweight enough for adhesive Velcro strips, but I wanted to be sure they were the strongest available because those panels need to hold for years. I came shopping here on Amazon and bought these. Got everything mounted today and so far, so good. I'll report back in a few weeks, and hopefully tell you how well they're holding up, because I just can't put those huge holes in my pretty, freshly painted wall. UPDATE: Well, sure enough, a couple of the panels have fallen. Luckily, they came with metal backs which I've attached to the panels, and then just reapplied the Velcro strip, this time not to the panel back but to the metal "impaler." Sticks there much better than to the fiberglass on the panel back.

its VERY STRONG. I am so very pleased.
oh my goodness, I can't love this more. VERY STICKY-VERY STRONG. I had to make a long 19' X 21" Rolled up awning cover. Our Sunsetter came with one years ago, held on with 9 oval grommets and twist keepers, spent 2 wk's looking for the right size grommet to fit the 9 keepers, forget that! I used a older huge pool cover, cut to fit. Used 4 ROLLS of the 10 ft x 1" size Listen, it stuck to: the old (20 yrs) weather warn 2, 1x6's across the top AND rough looking underside, I used a soft iron, about 200 degrees, to help it adhere to the aged pool cover, (might not have needed it but it would hurt, melt temp of the tarp is 365 degrees) I've looked every day and its still there!. will up date this in the spring when its time to open the deck. AS for Velcro, I use a lot and its VERY STRONG. I am so very pleased.

I did add super glue when sticking the pieces onto the camera
I was looking for an alternative to hang a security camera outside without having to put screws in my brick porch. I did add super glue when sticking the pieces onto the camera, but not when sticking the camera to my porch ceiling. The Velcro stays together very well. These are amazing. Very strong. I’ve had the camera up since I’ve received this Velcro and it’s survived wind, rain, heavy snow storms and extreme cold temps. This is extremely heavy duty and sticks like it’s glue.

Industrial strength for sure
Bought these to secure my portable compressor to the sidewall in the trunk of my car. I attached one strip to the bag of my compressor and the other velcro side to a plastic portion in the sidewall in my car's trunk. I connected the velcro pieces and everything seemed good. I drive like a maniac around curves sometimes so I expected to hear the little 4 pound compressor rolling around the trunk, but that's not the case. 1 Velcro strip of these and all is good, the compressor sits connected to the sidewall in my trunk while everything else flies around in the trunk as I take curves.

So impressive
I use this velcro to keep the net over our fish pond secure. Last year we stapled the net on to the deck over the pond but if we needed to get in to the pond for any reason, such as when our pump got clogged, the net would rip. This year, we wanted something that wouldn't have this issue and this velcro has been the perfect solution. Despite the crazy amount of rain this year, the velcro is still holding strong. The net isn't even sagging. We've pulled the net back a few times, including taking it off for a party, and it attached just as nicely as before. It doesn't seem any weaker from multiple removals and reapplications. I'm really impressed.

VELCRO holds up my curtains!!!!!!!
I've been fighting w curtain rods since I moved to this apt; every window is a different size, plus the kind of paint used has a shiny slippery finish plus (& you may be shocked with this) I'm on 1st fl so when cars go back to park my window panes tend to slip slowly during the winter...honestly I do not know how I came up with using VELCRO, but I did. I purchased 2 rolls of Extreme Outdoor, because it was thicker & firmer in hold power. The soft side was stuck on curtains, the rough side was placed on window frame and voila, I stuck up 3 sets of heavy (under 10lbs per panel) of curtains in bedroom windows. You have NO idea of the snugness, the warmth kept in...No expensive rods that eventually slip and fall. This is ingenious!!! VELCRO take note, your Extreme Outside tape is invaluable for inside jobs as well. I'm 64 yrs old, so there's lots of Hope for you younger DIYers!!

Not exaggerating with the label "Industrial Strength" - these could hold up anything!
The Velcro brand is not exaggerating calling these fasteners "Industrial Strength." All too often, brands will make an "extra strength" version of their main product, that ends up not being very different, if at all. But these Velcro fasteners are far beyond the quality and strength of regular Velcro brand fasteners. I am extremely impressed with their strength! I purchased one of those hangable, mesh screen curtains to put in my sliding glass doorway to my apartment balcony that doesn't have a screen. My ceilings are taller than standard, so no screen door on the market would fit my very tall sliding glass doorway. The mesh screen curtains came with a few pieces of Velcro fasteners enclosed, but after installing one and having it fall down overnight, I was very frustrated. I would have nailed the thing to my wall or ceiling, but the way my door is positioned, it is all metal doorframe around it, impossible to use nails with. After browsing Amazon I found these "Industrial Strength" Velcro brand fasteners and hoped they would work. They worked brilliantly! These fasteners have extremely dense, tightly woven pieces of each type, that can hold a lot of weight. The adhesive on the back is also industrial strength, and will stay put wherever you stick it, without falling down or even starting to peel off a tiny bit. One word of advice - be sure where you want to stick these before you stick them on a wall, because once they're applied to the wall, they are extremely difficult to remove (I had to use a knife to pry a piece from the wall and I had only stuck it there moments earlier). These Velcro fasteners have kept my mesh screen curtain in place perfectly. In fact, they worked so well that I decided to install additional mesh curtains in some of my other very tall windows that do no have screens. Out of 3 mesh screen curtains I have installed in my apartment with these Velcro fasteners, none have budged even a millimeter, despite recent storms with heavy wind. So if you need to hang something heavy with Velcro but are worried whether the Velcro will hold, buy these and you won't be disappointed. Please note that my photographs only show a portion of the total amount of strips that are included in the box, as I had already used some when I took the photos. This box comes with ten (10) sets of strips.

Which is it?, Industrial or Professional?
This product works but I feel that theres a misconception in either the ad or the compatibility. it clearly says Industrial in the title, yet nowhere on the package does it state this. the entire rear portion of the package says PROFESSIONAL which is a lesser grade of what I specifically purchased. The package has 3 squares each of Hook & Loop pieces of 4x6 inches, yet the Box states Max hold @ 1lb per square inch. If each plate is 4x6 inches, thats 24 square inches or 24lbs potential hold before failure. Overall the product is excellent, you can even sew through it to fasten it to any material. and it cuts with a really good quality pair of scissors or shears. for the quality you get, its worth the money.
