This is a great steamer! I use it very regularly, heats up great and does the job! After only having it for a year it suddenly stopped working... This steamer has a 5 year warranty and the customer service was AMAZING! Got me a new machine very quickly:)

Highly recommend

The steamer works well. Steady stream of steam makes it easy to get wrinkles out. I use the steamer on suits and slacks all the time. It works great in between dry cleanings. It even does a decent job on cotton pants and shirts. The steamer did stop working after about 23 months. The owners reached out to me directly when they learned of the issue and replaced the steamer. You can't go wrong with such amazing customer service. It provides added confidence when making a purchase to know a company really prioritizes customer satisfaction.

Too many accessories but powerful steam capabilities

For an inexpensive steamer, this thing is great! It heats up super fast and the steam is strong and consistent. It was a little annoying to set up because there are so many accessories, but once it's up it feels pretty solid. I was not expecting the steam to be so powerful. I haven't had any problems with leaking like other reviewers have mentioned. For reference, I am a professional stylist, so I know my steamers. I bought this for my office, and it's compact enough for the small space. I love it for office/home use, but if I showed up at a shoot and this was the steamer they had, I'd think it was amateur hour, even though it does have a stronger steam than some of the industrial steamers I've used.

Excellent steamer

This is not my first steamer. I started out with a cheap one. It put out very nice steam, for about 40 seconds, then would take a 1 min break, then start again. That's what you get when you buy a cheap steamer. This PurStream is NOT that kind of steamer. It's strong, steady and is a breeze to setup. I set it up first, read the manual after. Not the smart way to do it, but just a testament to how easy it was. In my excitement, I steamed about 9 shirts and 6 pants in about 15 mins! It's SO fast. I will say, all the extra attachments that come with it: those are training wheels. If you're not good with a steam iron, the pants attachment will help you get tighter creases or whatever. I found that all I needed was to hang my stuff up on a hanger and go to town. This thing is a breeze and I highly recommend it. Now, the last test: how will it hold up over time? We'll see. So far I'm blown away.

After going through so many reviews, I decided to get this steamer just last month because of the wonderful customer service feedback. I'm glad I did. When I received this product, it was missing a couple of the supplementary pieces, the crease maker and the small board for shirt pockets, and the manual. I thought then that It would be difficult to get them, because of the terrible experience of other customers using other steamer brands when it comes to getting parts. Well, Again, I'm really glad I went with Pursteam because the customer service I got from Natasha was really exceptional! I got a response to my online query 30 minutes after submitting it with a soft copy of the manual, and I got the parts with a small token for the trouble within 2 days. :) On the product, again, I'm very glad that I wen twitch this product. It's very powerful and it has made steaming a pleasure. I'm able to go through my husband's long sleeved shirts, pants, and my dresses very quickly. It takes wrinkles out very well and the crease maker is my favorite since it really works! Here's a sample, my husband's red button down shirt, wrinkled from being stuffed into his carry on. After less than a couple of minutes with Pursteam, the wrinkles are gone and I got to crease the sleeves.

UPDATE: Customer service was amazing and they are sending me a new machine - no hassle. I am so hopeful that this was just a defect machine and that I won't have issues with new one. It really does work so well so as long as it lasts this round, I am thrilled. I loved this product until I didn't. Started sputtering water everywhere even though I exclusively used water recommended for machine. The extension mechanism on one of the parts also broke. This is essentially useless to me right after the return window closed.

Makes life so much easier

I looked through many reviews on different steamers and decided to buy this one, and I'm SO GLAD I did. I would seriously spend 2+ hours every single load of laundry ironing out the wrinkles left behind. Not only did I constantly have to refill the iron, but it would leave little white water residue chunks on the clothing and it would sometimes leave marks on the clothes. This steamer is extremely easy to put together. Right out of the box I was AMAZED at how well it worked. Just running the wand end 1/2" over the shirt in a vertical motion took the wrinkles instantly!!! And the hanger attachment is THE BEST. The quick release on the hanger lets you put a shirt on so quickly. I really am so happy I bought this steamer, it has eliminated my need to iron and cut the time in half. I would recommend it to anyone. A+

Updated Review based on Revised Installation Instruction

Disappointed with this steamer. The post does not stay on which makes it useless in hanging your clothes to steam. I dont understand why this feature was not tested properly. The device itself works ok when steaming ligthly wrinkled clothing, but on heavier clothing such as cotton or linen shirts it takes a long time for it to take out the wrinkles. 10-17-2014 Pur Steam's customer service called me today and apologized for the problems encountered on the steamer's defective post. They are shipping a new one out to me today and it will be here this coming Monday. Mr. Ash, service customer rep/owner, also indicated that he will personally walked me through the installation of the replacement steamer to ensure that the post is working properly. The fact that the company cared enough about ensuring that their customers are satisfied with the product will make me change my review from one star to three stars. I will update this review once I get the replacement up and running and testing it on a whole basket of clothes waiting to be steamed. 10-23-2014 Pur Steam's customer service came thru as promised. Mr. Ash walked me thru and sent a visual addendum on how to install the steamer's pole. He promised that the addendum to the installation manual will be included in all of the product. It made a world of difference. I now am able to steam all of the clothes with ease and I am revising my previous statement on its perfomance with heavily wrinkled cotton and linen clothes. Having the ability to hang the clothes made it easier to direct the steam where it was needed. With the pole installed properly, I was able to work thru a basket of wrinkled clothes in less than 30 minutes. Much faster than ironing. I've changed my review from one star to five stars

PurSteamer Garment Steamer

The PurSteam garment steamer arrived as scheduled. The booklet that was included had good assembly directions and pictures. The steamer included attachments. After setting it up, I steamed a half dozen men's shirts. I didn't have to refill the tank. I liked the plastic pocket gadget that helped keep the pocket flat and helped straighten collars while avoiding burning yourself. The hanger has a bar to hold it in place, but then can be slid over so the hanger collapses. After use, I had no trouble following the dismantling and cleaning directions. The unit is compact. The company included a coupon for a free travel size Downy wrinkle releaser. I need to email them and the sample will be sent in 5 days. I used distilled/filtered water which was recommended to prolong the life of the steamer. I'm very satisfied with the steamer.

Great warranty

So I purchased this steamer over a year and a half ago. I will tell you I use this every single day when I get home from work and clean it as directed. It’s a wonderful steamer. My review however is for the customer service. I had an issue with the steamer. I’m sure it was just a “one off” problem. I checked my paperwork and noticed a 5 year warranty. I called on a Saturday and explained my issue. After a few short questions, a new steamer unit (minus accessories) was enroute to me. I received it in about 5 days, and I’m back to steaming again. Thank you very much for standing behind your product
