Great Oven-to-Table Pot!
When I first got this pot, I was a little disappointed because I thought it was going to be bigger. However, the first time I cooked in it, I realized it didn't need to be any bigger. Then, the first time I used it in the oven, I fell in love with it. I love that you can take it from stove to oven, then from oven to table. There are so many things you can make in this pot! I bought the whole Rachael Ray set. I just loved the color, plus the cookware is very durable. This pot is one of my favorites of the whole set. Great pot!

Multiple uses
This is exactly what I needed -- a multi-use pot that can go from stovetop to oven at 500F. Most pots that you can put in the oven on high heat are very heavy, which I don't care for. Since purchasing this item I've found it to be quite useful for many cooking purposes on the stovetop. It holds 4 ears of corn. Perfect for rice. Sauté meat (e.g. I sauté pork chops in garlic, paprika, salt until brown, then add sauerkraut, cover and cook. Delicious. The color is nice, too. Easy to clean.

I really like it
It’s a great little pot. I like how light weight it is, but the handles do get extremely hot. Make sure you have a potholder when handling it.

So far I've made 3 things in it and it couldn't be more perfect for my needs
Due to physical limitations I can't lift a regular dutch oven. Purchased this in hopes that it would work instead. So far I've made 3 things in it and it couldn't be more perfect for my needs. Perfect on the stovetop. Worked like a charm in the oven. And best of all, for me, I was able to lift it out of the oven myself, without having to call for help!!! Nice size handles, easy to get a good grip on.

Great sub for a dutch oven
I bought this casserole dish as an attempt to sub out a dutch oven. Not that I didn't want a dutch oven...but 1. price of this was more friendly, 2. this one is significantly lighter and space friendly, and 3. just seemed to have more utility for me. My first attempt at using this was actually to bake artisan bread (also for the first time!) and I can attest that it worked out great! The only concern is the handles which get very hot. They actually got so hot that upon taking out the pot, they scorched the silicone on my oven mitts which can only withstand heat to 465F.

Love the color
Love the color, love that they are not heavy, just got them today so time will tell if I like them or not. I have had many pots and pans over the past 40 years, nothing as good as the Guardian Service my grandmother gave me. Back then I was young and hated them and used them for dog dishes as they were so heavt..Gosh what I would give today to have those back! I'm just hoping these hold up a couple years atleast. (The color is actually darker then here)

Even passed professional chef standards! Plus non-toxic coating
My hubby is a professional chef. When he first saw this he rolled his eyes because its an extremely lightweight pan. We had just moved and weren't ready to invest in a larger set at the time. I needed something light because a health condition limited my ability to lift heavy items. This pot is very light weight and very non-stick, plus it looks great. My hubby ended up using this pretty much exclusively to cook in for several months. We even threw it in the oven. It's definitely not heavy duty, but it works really well for what it is. No need to lift heavy cast iron enamel anymore!

you'll like it!
I don't know what they did to the cover of this pot, but I hardly need to stir when I'm simmering something; definitely keeps in the moisture and the flavors. It's also a breeze to clean -- nothing sticks. Buy it, you'll like it!!

love! It's like La Cresuet on a budget!
Enamel on cast iron cookware like this, was, until recently, only available from makers like Le Creuset. Lately, several lower cost makers have come on the scene, like Target and Innova. The new budget priced rachael ray is in the same price range as the low cost alternatives but completely out performs them. I have all of the brands I have mentioned. The Lodge is the same weight as the Le Creuset which is much heavier than the other budget models. The ridge where the lid and sides meet is a matt black porcelain on the Lodge and Le Creuset but is just exposed cast iron for the other budget models (which leads to rusting if you are not careful). The porcelain resists staining (even tomato sauces) in the Lodge and Le Creuset but the other budget models stain very easily. And finally, the Lodge and Le Creuset maintain a very polished interior finish that resists sticking which others do not. So, I see no performance differences at all between the Le Creuset and the Lodge whereas the comparably priced budget models are certainly inferior. The rachael ray is the way to go!

Rachael Ray made another great item
I had the option of ordering a "used, very good" Rachael Ray cooking vessel. It came and I inspected it for the few scratches that were described, but there are none! Putting that aside, the item is really nice. I love the color, the size (I got the 4.5qt), and the interior's non-stick surface is of good quality. Now... using it makes cooking easy when you need something like a chicken, roast or even if you want to cook your chili or stew in the oven (I've actually lived my 50 years without a Dutch oven type pot...Idk why...) It is really nice that it is lightweight, not like a real Dutch oven would be. I would recommend purchasing this if you're thinking about it.
