I already had 2 good quality hand mixers laying around, but I love the snap on case that keeps everything tucked away together for storage! It takes a tiny bit of practice to get the case to snap on, but it's really not hard & everything fits perfectly, including the cord. I had no problems using this mixer & I liked the way if felt to hold - not too heavy. I would definitely buy this again!

I am a baker. I bake ALL THE TIME. My coworkers get treated with everything from meringue cookies, banana bread, key lime pie, and chocolate chip cookies to French Macarons, lemon cake, and puff pastry. This hand held mixer has been a god-send. It was reasonably priced, comes with a container to carry the attachments in that clips onto the base itself. As far as hand mixers go, it has the most powerful motor I've seen, and it's survived falling off the counter more times than I care to count in the 3 months I've owned it. I use it daily, and it is my go-to when I need to whip up eggs or cream, and I don't even hesitate to use it for items such as cake batter that doesn't really need to be mixed by power. Long story short - I would buy this again if it gave out of me tomorrow.

I absolutely loved using the mixer for my Christmas and New Year's Eve pies. At first glance I thought the beaters looked kind of thin and would warp against the sides of my stainless steel bowls. However, they worked perfect. The beaters reach the ingredients at the bottom edges of the bowl, so there was no need to scrape with a spoon. The mixer is a bit heavy, but I do have carpal tunnel, so they may not seem heavy to a regular user. I love being able to put all the pieces and the cord in its own container. Will update when I make cookies...my last mixer was almost 25 years old and just could not handle another batch of cookies.

This was bought as a replacement for my old mixer. I wanted stainless steal attachments because the old ones beaters started to rust. This has been a great item and all the different pieces of it work well and don’t rust. The container clips into the bottom of the mixer itself which is space saving and convenient. It has a very powerful motor and I was surprised that it was so light to hold. All the features advertised are exactly as represented. I’m very happy with this.

This mixer has been doing a great job since I purchased it a couple years ago. I like all the attachments and how compact everything is once folded and put back into the gray case that clips into the bottom of the mixer. I've made cakes, cupcakes, mashed potatoes, pavlovas, etc with no issues. If you're an everyday home cook, this mixer will suit you well.

I bought this thing a while ago, after I had once decided I wanted to bake something and wound up spending a half hour mixing the ingredients by hand and still couldn't get all the lumps out. It sat in my cupboard out of the way, occasionally coming out to make a sauce, smooth a better or whip some cream. Anyway, today, my son asked for crepes. I pulled it out and realized I had not written a review on it yet, so spent sometime thinking about when I have used this thing, while I lazily mixed the batter. If I were doing it by hand I probably would have had more time to recollect, as it was the batter only took a couple of minutes to finish, so I barely had time to think about what I was doing let alone daydream about the sauces of days past. Well, this thing comes in quite handy for the home chef. I don't do enough baking to justify a stand mixer, so I got this little guy, because of how easy it is to keep everything stored together. I am a big fan of the pulse function. I plan to write it into my book of sauce recipes, I think it sounds like a secret move in a video game that unleashes magical powers, the pulse takes your sauce making and baking to a higher level. Okay, maybe not, but what a gimmick huh? Anyway, good mixer, great price.

I just got my Amazon package. I only opened the box and I'm already giving this 5 stars. EVERYTHING stores in the snap on case, including the cord! Easily. And it has 2 bowl rest notches on the bottom! The one I replaced was not really that old but it had neither of those features. I've never been disappointed by Hamilton Beach products. I can't wait to use this. I'll update when I do. Update: I've used this a couple times. I still love it. My only concern is the beaters. They feel a little more flimsy than the old school ones. But they are working great. I can also still fit everything back into the snap on case. Leaving the review at 5 stars. It totally deserves it.

I really like this product. I was looking for the most affordable mixer I could find since I don't bake so often, but since purchasing this product I love baking and making pancakes, and use my mixer around once a week. It's easy to clean because the mixers pop off, and I just wipe the top off with a wet paper towel. I like that this included a dough hook but I haven't used it yet. I've mixed things both in metal mixing bowls and glass measuring cups and there's no damage or annoying scraping sounds. And no matter where I mix my food, the mixer props itself up nicely. So I thankfully haven't toppled anything over while stepping away from the mixer. I also like how the attachable storage box has a door to insert the whisk attachments so putting them away after washing them is low effort.

I live in a small apartment so having appliances that are space savers is a plus in my book. The shipping time was pretty fast (ordered on Thursday and received the following Monday). I’ve used this mixer a few times and it’s done more than I expected to. It mixes really well and because of its size, I was able I store it in a small space in my cabinet. The storage case that attaches at the bottom makes it easy to keep all the attachments together. Very happy with my purchase.

*** UPDATE*** I have now had this mixer for 6 months, and still feel like this is the best money I've ever spent on a small kitchen appliance. I still use it 4 - 7 times a week, and have had zero issues with the durability. It still works as good as it did the day I pulled it out of the box. *** Yes! I had this 30-year-old Oster stand up mixer, and the motor finally fried on me. I didn't want to spend the money for another stand up, and there have been many situations when I really wished I had a hand mixer. I purchased this after reading many reviews and looking at features and prices of different products. I am VERY happy with this purchase. The attachments were quite a bit smaller than what I'm used to and I worried about them holding up, but they have done fantastic! I bake cookies at least twice a week, and this mixer has made that painless. No more pulling out the stand mixer! I also bake bread on a daily basis for my family of 6, and this has handled all the bread dough I've tried, even very heavy wheat bread dough. It cleans easily, and is easy to handle. I love the storage container for the attachments. It totally rocks my world not digging through a drawer to find them. The only con, (which is not enough to lower my stars) is that the lowest speed is pretty fast. I have found that when I'm mixing flour in, to keep the attachments low in the bowl and use on the pulse to avoid spraying flour all over my kitchen. This is a pretty minor setback for me, since as soon as the flour is reasonably mixed, I can up the speed with no problem. Very happy I added this to my kitchen appliances. Like I pointed out above, I use it on a daily basis.
