I’m changing my first review. I was disappointed to see that you can only use “THE” bowl sent. I see no replacements. I had a great Sunbeam for years. I felt it the best. I have now bonded with my Hamilton Beach 63390 and used it to mix cookie dough. This mixer rocks! I love it. I wish they would sell the bowls so I could have two for easier mixing.

The Mixer is very powerful and does a very good job mixing all kind of ingredients. Christmas baking fas more fun and less pain thanks to this !

Always wanted a stand mixer, but they are always so much money. Decided to give this one a try and I'm now happy mixing and baking away. It's not as heavy duty as the more expensive ones, but it hasn't stopped me from making all sorts of things. Thanks Hamilton Beach, I owe you some home made chocolate chip cookies.

I wanted a stand mixer but didn't want to spend the dollar amount that the very nice stand mixers cost. I read the reviews on this one and decided to give it a try. I'm very pleased with its performance when I mix a cookie dough or something stiff that needs to have more power than a handheld mixer.

Loving this mixer so far. Baked a delicious cake for my family this weekend. The machine did a wonderful job mixing all the ingredients and reaching the bottom and sides of the bowl with very little help from a spatula. I also made a whipped cream frosting and it turned out perfect! Good alternative without having to spend hundreds of dollars. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this purchase.

I was about to make a mistake and return. I researched further about KA and after making cookies in no time, I decided to keep my purchase. Also, it's Great for limited counter top space with a 300W engine. I will re-update as I get to my bread recipes. Great warranty as well, better than KA.

I am so glad we purchased this! Just used it today, trying the sugar cookie recipe in the back of the manual. Wow! This thing creamed cold butter in no time and the cookies made my husband's eyes roll to the back of his head! I'm sold! I think I'll be baking more because I have a great tool to do so!

Not a heavy mixer to lift. Does its job well. I wash blades by hand after reading too many reviews of all brand mixer blades having the finish come off in dishwasher. Mixer suction cups hold well to our Italian slate countertops and stay in place during mixing on high speeds or dense ingredients.

Clearly HB is going up against the titan of gourmet kitchen's everywhere, the KitchenAid mixer. And there's no denying this is a powerhouse of a competitor surely worthy of your consideration if not your dollars as well. But one thing that struck me (and made instant sense) about this mixer is the plastic. Everything (except the mixing bowl) is plastic. The KitchenAid unit is made of steel (and weighs a frigging ton because of it!). But being made of plastic isn't necessarily a bad thing. For the price, you get something with nearly the same capacity, the same attachments, a better bowl-locking mechanism, a better locking mechanism for the blade being used, and a thoroughly thought through appliance. Yes, you could get all of that from KitchenAid and you'd get it heavier duty, but you'd pay factors more for it. The down and dirty is, if you're a happy cook, if you love making meals for your family, friends, and special ones in your life, this is going to get it done for you and get it done WELL. You'll be extremely happy for the life of the appliance. If, however, you're a professional cook/baker, and you need something that will be used 8 or 10 hours a day, 300+ days a year, you should probably pop for the KitchenAid. I LOVE cooking and have used my KitchenAid whenever possible...but now, it's time to let it go. I love everything the HB has given me, not the least of which is the savings on such a high quality machine!

This is an awesome stand mixer for the price. I have had a KitchenAid but gave it to my daughter when I downsized thinking I could get away with just a stand mixer. Guess Again! I really missed my stand mixer but didn't want to pay the big bucks again. After reading many reviews I decided to go with this one and I'm happy I did. It is quite simple to use and it works great. I have used it for cookies, biscuits and banana bread and all turned out excellent. Love a great product at a great price.
