These are one of the greatest new base products for the kitchen created - I use as potholders and then trivets to set hot pots on my table and when they get dirty, usually wash off; otherwise I throw in the top of the dishwasher and they come out ready to use. It was time to pitch all my worn cloth potholders so the timing was perfect to find these. I am surprised how well they protect your hands, even at 450 plus! The only improvement would be to offer them in packs of 4 but one color. Enjoying the bright, happy colors though!

What I didn't consider when buying these was the saved storage space. But when I gave them to her, since they are so much thinner that the cloth ones she had been using, it didn't take up as much space in her very shallow drawers which she loved. She loved the bright and various colors. So far, they've been great! I tested how much heat transferred under the pad and after a full dinner of holding a casserole dish that had come right from a 425 degree oven, the plastic cover was only slightly warm.

Probably thee best product I have ever purchased on Amazon! I love these. I bought mine in November 2016, and I am back today to buy more. My uses: Pot holders (although sometimes you really do need a mitt) Trivets, especially for granite counters Bumpers (use between ceramics and other baking dishes to avoid cracks and chips) Coffee Coasters Jar openers (both at the bottom and top of jar to avoid slipping and getting lids off easier) Bumpers in the cast iron sink to keep dishes from cracking Frisbees (go ahead and throw them at the dog!) and lastly, a place to put my marijuana pipe when not in use! You can hand wash, put them in the dishwasher, or even the washing machine and dryer! I love love love these silly little pads~!

GREAT ITEMS .....I got four sets of these....One for myself.....Three as Christmas gifts for family and friends.......I use them all the time. My friend said after first seeing them that they looked too thin to actually work as hot pads......like for picking up the hot handle of a cast iron frying pan........she was sooooo wrong. They work great for that and are not thin at all. I did burn my finger a little using them to remove a hot pan from the oven........not the pad's fault......I accidentally had my fingertip on one of the holes in the pad that you can use to hang them up.......only did that once. The colors are so nice and bright and they clean off so easily.........look like they will last for years.

These pot holders are perfect for picking up hot dishes or casserole dishes and also serve as a very nice hotmat trivet for under kettles or saucepans, some reviewers have mentioned they melt but have had no trouble with mine, I've used in hot ovens and microwave ovens absolutely no problems and they grip onto the dishes I am using them on, originally bought these for my electric kettle but thought I'd use them for casserole and hot dishes as well I am pleasantly surprised by the usefullness and the heat they can handle, you just can not go wrong with this brand they promise and deliver on what the description says. Don't be misled by some negative reviews, they are too good to pass up. They are also good for mini placemats for under your hot dishes from the microwave oven foods you heat up. Anything that happens to get on them can be washed off under the faucet and they are good to go again when dried with a cloth or towel

It does what I wanted it to do.

I actually use these for "licky mats" for my dogs. I take plain (no fruit or stuff in it) yogurt or peanut butter or mix of both and spread it over each holder, freeze it and then later give it to my dogs. they love it! Great for some enrichment time and not having to buy expensive fattening treats all the time.

LOVE THEM! These are a great deal! I received 4 very bright vivid colors (1 red, 1 blue, 1 orange, and 1 green). They are flat on one side and on the other they have small little stubs that stand up so it is not laying flat on the table. They are about 1/4 inch thick and stack beautifully in a drawer. They are good size for even a larger pot or pan, but are still small enough for a drawer. However, I do use 2 of them for a large 11"x17" casserole dish. I have had others before that have stuck to my counters and tables, or are hard to pick up because they lay so flat. I do not have either of those problems with these. I would highly recommend these to anyone!

Color is off, but still very nice

Great! These are a little thinner silicone than I was expecting, but still seem very nice quality. Being thinner will make them better to use as potholders rather than trivets, but should service either purpose just fine. The colors are beautiful, but at least on the set we received, the orange is not true orange as the picture shows - it's more of a schoolbus yellow, very similar to the stars in the Amazon review ratings. It still goes nicely with the red, green, and blue. Love the large hole for hanging, as we like to keep these out within easy reach of the range at all times.

love loven silicone potholder etc...

this item is wonderful, I was looking to purchase something that could save me time and make peeling garlic easier, and came across these pot holders. They work perfect for peeling garlic. I placed 2-3 cloves at the edge of the textured side of the pot holder and rolled them in between the pot holder and the skin around the cloves comes off immediately. I have also tested it as a trivet and on hard to open jars and once again I must say they do the jobs listed for uses. I am very pleased with these items( 4 in a package).

Excellent Heat Protection

Excellent Pot Holder, they can be washed with a soap and water rinse. They are also table protectors for hot plates and dishes. I Absolutely have never felt any heat transfer to hands when handling hot pots and pans coming from stove top, oven and microwave.
