I do my nails at home because I'm in school full time and professional nails are out of my budget. I'm getting better because I research and try things out. If you've ever wondered how professional nail artists get nails to stay on weeks after they place them on your hands like me, THIS is one of their secrets. Nail dehydrants are used to seal acrylic or gel nail solutions to your nail beds and are perfect for nail tips that accompany acrylic and gel applications. I've used primers of every kind, cleaned my nail beds with alcohol - one of the main things needed to get acrylic or gel nails to stick is a clean nail bed - and could NEVER get my acrylics to stay on! Until THIS!!! I did my nails TWO WEEKS AGO and they are STILL SECURELY AFFIXED TO MY NAIL BED RIGHT NOW!!! I'll have to remove them like professionals do: using pure acetone. Using just primer, my nails would snap off after at the latest four days. If you're an at-home nail tech due to budget constraints such as myself, please, PLEASE try this. I promise you WON'T be sorry. It'll change your LIFE.

Bought this dehydrant along with other Mia Secrets products(no burn acid free primer, a few basic colors acrylic powders and builder gels) and I'm LOVING IT!!! Almost a month ago I did a full acrylic set on myself and figured I can just strip it of with your usual soaking and e~filing but nope, the product was so strongly adhered onto my nails it literally took me all night going back n forth soaking and e~filing lol. Yes I said "Aaall night" it was daylight when I got done. I guess I should've ust refill 😂 But 3+ weeks is your average to redo do and I wanted to do something totally different so needed to change it all the way down to the nail bed. Bottom line, the product is so good I'd go as far as saying 1 your many with the acrylics 'will" last over r amonth. Mia Secret has a new lifetime customer here. The color acrylic powder are really pigmented you can do a lot of mixing with them. Gotta say I've never had a full mani that lasted so long then didn't even wanna come if. And I had wash dishes, clean and do everything with my bare hands. Highly recommend and will definitely jeep purchasing Mia Secrets products

Its actually good. Please don't confuse it for primer. Its exactly what it says a dehydrator. Please do not listen to the idiot reviewers claiming it to be alcohol only. I assure you its not.

This is VITAL and is not just alcohol.....

To anyone saying this is just alcohol, it's definitely not!! When you open it, it smells like nail polish, so there is definitely more than alcohol in this product. It's definitely worth it. I had a ton of lifting with Mia Secret until I got this. This is absolutely vital if you want your nails to last!

Works great .

I used this to do my nails. When I do arcylic and paint them with regular nail polish I have very oiled nail bed this worked great the same as expensive stuff I got at Sally's. I recommend it

Far better than more expensive options

I bought this and another nail primer that was 15 dollars. This one is far superior. It has a light smell that is not over powering and is super easy. I use it before putting on acrylics and it helps the nails stay on longer i feel. Just be careful not to get it on skin it hurts like a b****
