A little goes a long way, our chickens are very happy & the coop smells heavenly!

Just adopted 4 adult laying chickens and decided to give this a try to encourage happiness and laying while our chickens adjust to their new home. I had some lavender I harvested from our many backyard lavender plants last fall to tide us over until this arrived. It is pretty strong smelling so I only sprinkle a little bit in the laying boxes so as not to overwhelm the chickens, plus is makes the coop smell heavenly. The directions say to add ¼ cup to each nesting box, but that would be way too much. Given that a little goes a long way it makes this little bucket worth the cost and is much easier than me trying to harvest all the herbs myself. Our new chickens each lay 1 egg a day (with only 1 day off each week) and haven't missed a beat since we picked them up last Sunday. Apparently, they are happy with their new digs and wonderful smelling coop and nesting boxes.

Love it but at 50.00 a bucket...won't be ordering it again. Got lucky and got the first one at 32.00 with Prime ship.

Relaxing, wonderful treat.

Amazing!!! We love putting this inside the coop and nesting boxes. We have one broody, cranky hen, and this seems to calm her and make her a bit more comfortable. We noticed it also helped with mites, and has such a relaxing, calming smell. Worth the money. A little goes a long way.

Now this is pricey but I have to admit that ...

Now this is pricey but I have to admit that it really makes a difference in our chicken coop. Every time I clean it I sprinkle some of these and the coop smells fabulous, I almost want to put this in my bath water and take a steam bath. A little goes a long way so the price is reasonable.

So far so good, no mites or bugs. The smell of this stuff is out of this world. It would make a great potpourri! I think the chickens love it too!
