Good for Base-line Reading

Very nice to have baselines for temperature and Specific Gravity. Very well made, though the calibrations for the temperature was quite difficult to read due to its size but there's a "green zone" that tells you when the readings are within a safe range. Works the same way with SG reading.

As expected

Exactly what I expected. Works as expected.

Works well, only about 7.75" long

This thermometer / hydrometer works great and it's smaller than I expected. From the pictures I was thinking it was about 12" long. It's only about 7.75" long which is nice. It's also great that it comes with a fairly nice case so it doesn't get broken. So far I have had no trouble with this. I'm using it for a slightly salty tank (not even brackish) for mollies and fiddler crabs.

Inexpensive and simple to use to calibrate the salinity in my brackish aquarium.

It works. For in the ball park readings ok by me. Unsure of complete accuracy .. Similiar reading to the coral life hydrometer
