Exceeds expectations

Bought this wonderfully constructed trunk along with a larger Rhino one For my college bound son and they were both received enthusiasticly for both their quality and style. They will protect costly items well and double as furniture. I anticipate they will both last for at least several decades and be well cherished as antiques one day.

Perfect Size and Great wheels for moving when loaded!

Perfect Size (wheels work very well on a heavily loaded trunk - easy on and easy off). I just moved my daughter into her college dorm and this trunk was a perfect addition to her suitcases. It now serves as a snack holder and looks very attractive in her dorm room at the foot of her bed.

Expensive, but a high-quality product.

Phenomenal quality. This trunk can support me standing or sitting on it and I'm about 170lbs. The wheels lock right onto the trunk without much effort. It's worth mentioning that it doesn't look like you'd be able to apply stickers to this. It's got a textured surface which is presumably more durable but, I'm assuming, not-so-good for stickers, if that sort of thing matters to you. It's a little expensive for what it is, but you get what you pay for.

Very well made trunk

They call it the camp and college trunk, but anyone with roommates can also appreciate this item. I bought it used from a third party, with the disclaimer that it had "some scratches on bottom," at a very substantial discount. Well, if you looked real close, you could find a couple of scuff marks on the bottom, which in no way impaired its functionality, or appearance. It is extremely well made, The lid, latches, and central hasp all line up perfectly. All the hardware is properly secured and does not rattle when the trunk is moved. The wheels are easy to attach, stay in place, and function as they should. The description noted that it was solid enough to use as a step stool, and I can verify that I have tested that with my 200+ lbs, with practically no give on the trunk's lid. Its solid construction make it a bit on the heavy side (about 25 lbs empty, I think). The interior is unlined, and although I happen to like it, the absence of fabric covering may put some people off. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase, and I expect this trunk to outlast me.

Very rock and roll! I don't know what my son will use it for in college and beyond, but it will get used a lot! Very sturdy construction and heavy-duty hardware. We have it crammed full of dorm stuff ready to move in a couple of weeks and it rolls like a dream. I see this in his dorm and guy-space for ever. Here's hoping!

Great Trunk

Because of the price, I hesitated ordering this for my college bound granddaughter. However, after receiving it, I was very happy with the quality of the trunk and the sturdiness of the handles and wheels. I will probably purchase this trunk again if still available.

This trunk is built solid. I'm 200 lbs and stood on top of the trunk and it held up no problems. I know it will hold up if my daughter sits on it in her dorm. Bought it for my son who is heading to military college in August. I spent a little more based on reviews on this and similar trunks. This one exceeded my expectations. Top notch materials and hardware. My guess he will have this well beyond his college years.

Incredible!

I love this trunk! I'm a singer in a rock band, and I bought this so I could put it on stage to stand on during performances. It supports my weight and probably well over it. I stand on it for a decent amount of time, and I'm rocking out...this thing is SOLID. I was very concerned about the quality, but the other reviews led me to believe that I wouldn't be disappointed. I'm definitely very satisfied with my purchase! The only problem I've had is one of my wheels flew off when I was rolling it down a curb, but I can't fault the trunk for that. It's an added bonus that I can carry my show equipment inside, as well.
