Great stand! I don’t recommend putting anything other than a speed light on it. Fully extended it does not have the ability to hold a larger strobe (Flashpoint AD400pro). It is light weight and easy to bring around with you.

I bought this mainly to use with my ring light. The stand is very strong and holds up through add ons and adjustments and different angles. It keeps great balance even when extended all the way up, no falling over ever occured.

I just bought this to go with my new panel lights and my older ring light. I needed a taller stand with a better height range and this stand does just the trick. Over 6 feet! The price is a great deal, under twenty dollars, for how sturdy and well placed it is. The design is basic but that's what makes it so great, it's really simple to unfold and adjust and pick up and down and move it all around.Awesome stand for holding lightweight equipment.

Super tall light stand! This extends all the way up to a max height of 6 feet! Excellent range to work with in between for lower standing. Supports a lot of weight, can handle over 13 pounds of equipment without falling over. Successfully can hold and stabilize. cameras, monitors, reflectors, and all kinds of lights. Collapses easily (when i want it to) and folds up Simple and basic design but gets the job done well.

I was a bit hesitant to try a brand which I have never heard of before, but recently I got into a lot of Neewer products and for the most part they are consistently high performing for their modest price. This light stand that I bought was my first and I didn't quite know what to expect, but, I'm fairly happy with it's quality. The only improvement I could think of is making it some how easier to keep tipping over in windy conditions. The larger Neewer octagon softbox I got for it is like a big sail. I'll probably try tent pegs the best time I take it outside on grassy fields, but the idea of carrying around sand bags to weigh it down isn't that appealing. Still, this stand is great. I just ordered the 7 ft one.

Super light weight and straight forward stands. They are a little clumsy in the loosening/tightening of the twist clamps but it’s the best you can get at this price point.

Great Stand! No complaints! You can move up and down.

With big batteries, LED lights can weigh as much as older lights, so a well-designed tripod is mandatory. This one fills the bill.

I use this with my ring light that uses an adapter to attach to the light stand and it works great. My ring light is rather large ... around 18 inches in diameter or so and it holds it well.

It's a light stand. It's cheap. It's not going to hold up a big light and massive modifier at full height--but if you don't have a gigantic rig like that, this thing works great. I have a little Falcon Eyes SO-28TD LED light. This Neewer light stand is perfect for it. Just like the product description says--it extends to 6' has a good stable base, folds up nice and small--overall a great little stand. The only thing I wish it had was a carry case--but hey--it's small enough I can toss it in the trunk of my car and take it with me on a shoot--so no biggie. If you need a decent quality, inexpensive light stand--go with Neewer--you won't be disappointed.
