Works Great!

My wife is diabetic and is on Metformin, which, in her case, causes diarrhea (one of the possible side effects). At home she uses Kaopectate liquid, but at work and on the road, she uses Kaopectate caplets. She has tried other, less expensive OTC relief, but this one always works the best. Costs a bit more, but so worth it.

effective, convenient to carry

more convenient to carry the pills in pocketbook, than the liquid version. Tho the liquid seems to work faster. the convenience is a big plus. I'm on a few blood pressure pills, that inflict chronic diarrhea. The kaopectate is a life saver. I take one of these pills every time I eat and before i go to sleep at night. helps me get through the night without the misery of "accidents"

Perfect for traveling! A must buy!

Boy were these a life saver! I packed a full box of these wonderful pills for my trip to Thailand last month and it was the best decision I made. I got food poisoning a couple of times while out there and these did the trick! I’ll spare you the details, but when I say these are a life saver, I mean it. Next time you go traveling I highly recommend grabbing a pack of these. For the price, you can’t go wrong and the pills are completely tasteless and easy to swallow which is always a plus!

Kaopectate tablets NOT Pepto!!

This has been a miracle for me. I have had microscopic colitis, specifically lymphocytic colitis, for over 10 years. I have tried just about every prescription, supplement, diet, etc to make the hell stop. The only studied treatment for MC is the “Pepto protocol”, bismuth subsalicylate 262mg. I tried the protocol with all forms of pink Peptos and it did NOT work. It was SO disappointing. I noticed that Kaopectate tablets also contained bismuth subsalicylate and I gave those a shot just for shits and giggles, ALL puns intended. It WORKED!! But I wondered why?? I set out to find all of the forms of the pink Peptos inactive ingredients and Kaopectate inactive ingredients (see photo). All of the pink Peptos contain sugar alcohols which are known to cause bloating and diarrhea (WTF??), other artificial sweeteners and artificial colors. Kaopectate contains none of those. Artificial sweeteners and artificial colors can be triggers to people with MC so it all made sense. Switching Kaopectate tablets for Pepto in the protocol has worked for other patients too. If you have diarrhea caused by inflammation I encouraged you to try Kaopectate tablets. DO NOT TRY WITHOUT THE DIRECTION AND APPROVAL OF YOUR DOCTOR.

Not the original kaolin formula, but great for my dogs!

I bought these for my dogs thinking they were the original kaolin Kaopectate in pill form, so I was surprised to see they weren't. However, I looked it up and these are safe for dogs, plus they also help with upset stomach, and soothe their intestinal tract -- which is what I really need for my puppy who has severe intestinal adhesions, chronic intestinal problems, and a very sensitive stomach!

Life savers

Upset stomach, gas, queasy...whatever we’ve got these have helped us! They’re hard to find so we try to stock up. Especially if we are traveling. Never leave home without them.

It's worth it

I have pretty bad gastritis and this really helps me out when I start having a flare up. The taste is a little weird and they take a little bit longer to work than the liquid version. Overall, I do recommend this product and will be purchasing again.

Gives comfort fast

Kaopectate pills seem to ease my IBS-d symptoms when other comparable products do not. Great price!! **update: I've already reordered 4th time!!

Did you know...

I use this for my critters all the time ..upset stomach or liquid stools ... Half if a pill for medium to large dog ... Back to solids the next day ..happy pet mom.
