Impressive Relief for Muscle Aches and Pains

I ordered this device on Prime Day and it was delivered within two days. It arrives in a well designed and nice box. In fact, the packaging is surprisingly nice (see pictures). The device itself is small (fits into your pocket), is very light, and is pretty straight forward. The cords are long enough to make it very easy to use on just about any part of your body. It comes with a charger (it does not use batteries) and achieves full charge pretty quickly. Compared to the other products sold at grocery stores that offer a similar experience, this product blows them out of the water. In fact, in my experience, half power on this TENS device is about the same as using full power on the Icy Hot Smart Relief or Aleve Direct Therapy. Furthermore, the pads on this device allows for greater flexibility to reach problem areas (dynamic) rather than the stationary (static) approach the other brands provide. So, if other brands provided some relief, but you felt like it could have been better, this might be the right product for you. The modes are times, so you don't need to stare at a clock to monitor the amount of time you've been using the device. The instructions are included. Best money spent for pain relief yet!

I have owned this product since May 2017. I originally bought it after seeing virtually the exact same item for sale at a vendors show. At the time I was suffering from migraine headaches and the sales lady did a quick demonstration. I was impressed with the size and ease of use but the price was astronomical. As we walked away I was actually debating buying one the smaller packages but my wife convinced me to check Amazon. Within less than 40 feet from the vendor I found this at this price. It looked identical to the show version. Figured I had nothing to lose and ordered it on the spot. Flash forward to the present day. I swear by this item and can not recommend it enough. Have told several people about it and showed them on Amazon. Funny thing is that I still see the same vendor still selling the overpriced show packages and shake my head in amazement when I see someone buying it there. I can easily attest to the performance of the product but am always amazed that people do not stop to comparison shop first. I use this for headaches, neck and shoulder pains, lower back pain as well as knee pain. I am 52 and served in the US Army for over 24 years so my body rarely doesn't have an ache or pain. This allows me to eliminate the pain without the use of medication and the relief is usually almost instant. The modes allow you to choose the type of nerve stimulation and the power settings refine it even more. It starts at a 10 minute phase but pressing the "T" button adds increments of 10 minutes which I really like. Trust me, you will not regret this purchase.

Amazing! Just as good as the physical therapists (PT) huge machine. I would have paid hundreds for this, since PT charges that much for one treatment. For this price, you have nothing to lose to try it. Bought some gel to go with the pads. 7 is as high as I can go, but I'm fixed after one treatment. I've been managing back pain for over 20 years. I'm only 42. I feel like I've had to deal with back issues practically my whole life since emergency back surgery at 19. This is what was missing in my routine. I have a trusted massage therapist, I know the PT stretches and exercises (and a $5,000 bill I'm still paying), I have the large ice and heat packs, I have the pain meds, but this! This gets in deep where I cannot get to when I am in pain. It helps to untangle the damage and I am beyond grateful. Thank you, thank you, thank you Healthmate!

Relief at last.

Small but mighty. I had it on my back as soon as I took it out of the box. Don't place the pads too close together or you will only feel one. Love, love, love that it is so portable. Can do normal activities while wearing. Muscles bunch up from pain, this helps loosen them and gives relief without medications. I liked it so well I bought one for my sister-in-law as well. She has suffered from lower back pain for most of her life. She got relief in physical therapy with stretching exercises and the tens unit they used on her. Now she can do her own therapy at home. Thank you for making this so affordable and portable.

Works exceptionally well

Bought one to replace my IQMassager that failed while overseas. It works great. I loaned it to a friend of mine that was having shoulder issues and he is buying one to replace the one I loaned Him. I bought another one to send to my friend in Switzerland. I like the product immensely. My only problem is with the warranty. Was told in the paperwork that my warranty would be extended to six months vice three months if I would register online. I tried several times to do that but the program will not accept the registration. Thanks for listening, you have a great product!! Lynn A. Postel

Helps all of our aches and pains!

We had another brand of electrical stimulation device that ate AAA batteries like crazy! This one holds a charge for several hours of use and it's wonderful not to have to continually buy batteries to keep using it. It came with a set of 6 pads that really adhere well to your skin and are larger in size than our previous device. I really like the little smooth pad that was provided to place 2 of the pads on when not being used. It's so much better than the thin plastic sheet that came with our other one. This has 6 modes and the little booklet that came with the device covered some of the areas we like to treat. I use it almost exclusively for carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands and it really helps to use the device when my CTS is bothering me. I also love the size of this device, as it's quite small and will fit into your pocket and you can walk around while using it with no problem. I finally figured out that I could run the cord inside my clothes while wearing it to prevent the cord catching on drawer pulls, etc, when I'm up and around when wearing it. LA DUH! It's quite powerful, and neither myself or my husband have been able to turn it up very high during use, so there's lots of room for adjustments if needed. We love this little thing and we had no problem operating it after just skimming the instructions. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an electrical stimulation device for home use.

Impressive Service and Quality

I am thoroughly happy with the customer service and quality of my Healthmate Forever Tens Unit. It's the perfect size similar to an Ipod Nano, so lightweight and easy to operate, and the USB charge last forever for multiple uses and only takes less than hour to recharge using the included adapter or my computer. I am very pleased to save money no longer needing to purchase replacement batteries as with my prior Tens Unit which lacked also the multiple modes I have available with this product purchase. The modes are easy to switch and I appreciate the feature when switching modes the unit will revert to the lowest setting preventing shocking intensity between settings. The timer is really cool too and allows you to extend it before shutoff if needed. The accompanying chart is informative suggesting the various acupuncture locations for relief of different ailments. And most of all the company responded very positive to suggestion for improving the user manual for those who may be first-time users unfamiliar with differences in the modes offered by this product. My Physical Therapist was very impressed with this product and plans to purchase for her personal use and other clients in the office expressed their interest too. And my husband who inherited my old battery operated unit is jealous, so I will be making another purchase from Healthmate Forever soon.

Trusted the positive reviews here and glad I did. This is my first encounter with a TENS unit and it's excellent. The unit is small and very lightweight. I use it mainly for my lower back so I only have had experience with that mode but there are modes for feet, knees, hands, etc. Once the battery is charged it pretty much stays that way meaning it lasts a long time. I've been reusing the pads and they still stick fine. Really happy with this!

Finally... pain relief

For a year I've been coping with annoying muscle pain in my upper left arm. Enough to be uncomfortable, not enough to seek professional help or intervention. After researching various methods of relief, I found these devices. I researched various manufacturers and devices and found this one to meet my needs for an unbelievably reasonable price. After one use my pain was noticibly and significantly relieved. It's been just under a week of use, and while I'm not at 100% yet, I can say the difference is night and day. Best $30 I've ever spent! Depending on how this process moves forward, I'll either stick with this device, or upgrade to another Healthmate model. UPDATE: The only drawback of this device is the charger. For some reason they've opted to include a charger that has, what must be, one of the world's brightest LED lights. Whatever you do, don't use the included charger if you're also trying to sleep. However, if you need to divert aircraft, perform roadwork in the dead of night, or simulate the light level of a green sun, then this is the charger you should employ.

A Great Product. At A Great Price.

Every now and then a product arrives that's above my personal expectations. This is one of those products. I've not gone without this tens unit for any real length of time. This is the 3rd. I've owned. The 1st was years ago, battery operated and VERY expensive (around $600) The second, more recently, is a compact, battery operated unit, with "fixed pads" . A little tricky to use, gravity pulls it down, settings are vague. But this perfectly made, simple to use/ set-up, long life, and rechargeable too! Packed nicely, with 2 pair pads with cables to run 2 or 4 pads with separate cables for each pair. Or a 4 lead cable to run all pads on once . Also included is the USB charger and cable, a plastic paddle to store pads on when not in use. Instructions etc. I'm using it right now. Easy to fall asleep while using. It arrived the day before a flight and helped my back on the trip. A lot. Easy to select one of 8 settings. Easy to increase strength. Easily the best I've seen.
