Awesome Birthday Gift

A birthday gift for my four year old girl. She loves it and so do her little sisters 2.5yo and 7 months). The two older girls figured it out right away. Their favorite part is the working microphone. It has a great, sliding volume control so you don't have to worry about hearing it all through the house. The keyboard has a ton of fun songs and sounds.

This is a hit!

This is a great toy. We love VTech toys! My kids love music so this toy was perfect for them. They spend hours playing with the keyboard, the many music controls provided, and the microphone with a recording function. They especially love playing with the recording function, recording their voices saying silly things and playing it back over and over again. Some toys are kinda junky, but this toy definitely provides a lot of value (and fun). I highly recommend getting this toy for your kids or as a gift. I'm pretty sure it will be a hit!

Excellent gift for baby and Grandma

I bought this for my 2yr old because he is super fascinated by piano/keyboard. At the first it's a little scary but now he knows how to play and enjoy it very much. Not only that Grandma likes it a lot too! One more communication between two generations - music! A bit expensive but definitely worth every penny.

Awesome Keyboard

I love this keyboard and so do my kids! It does SO much! Aside from most of the features that most have, it has many additional features my kids are loving. The pre-recorded songs are great and there is a large variety of familiar songs. The additional instruments (drum, electric guitar, etc.) I didn't really care about when purchasing are actually lots of fun. Without a doubt my children's favorite feature is the recording microphone. It records them singing and all of the instruments they play at the same time. It's very easy to use, picks up all the sound, and records for a very long time. My kids love just making up silly songs and making silly noises and recording themselves. I love recording myself and and reminiscing about the broadway career I should have had. It's fun for all of us - much more so than I expected!

Music Maker for Little Ones

This was the "hit" of the Christmas gathering. We got for a 5 1/2 year old girl but everyone played with. Seeing an 8 year old and her aunt singing with altered voices and then playing back was priceless. Then 3 girls doing the same was so cute. There is a wide variety of sound. This is a toy so do not expect professional sound, but it is fun and kids love it with all the sounds and especially being able to save and play back. This is complete into itself, it is not tied into downloading or uploading. The little record is just for creating a sound when brushed with the fingers, the playback is internal. It is a fun toy for its age group and for the young in heart that play with them.

Fun for Everyone!

Bought this for my almost 2 year old and she enjoys playing with it (so do I and so does my almost 6 year old son, ha ha!). There are many fun buttons to play around with. You can sing and record your own music. Definitely recommend!

Great!

My daughter is 3 and loves music so I thought this would be a great gift for her. The kidistudio is easy enough for my 3 year old to use and like it. She loves playing on the piano part more then anything. Now my 4 year old and my 10 year old, yea my 10 year old, like everything with it. My kids love being able to record on it and change the sound of their voices with the microphone. I like how the volume is easy to adjust because they can get loud on it. I didn't know if this would be something my 3 year old would like but it was a winner with all my kids. A week later and they are still playing on it every day and the batteries that came with it are still working, so shouldn't be an endless battery changing machine. My younger kids aren't exactly easy on toys at times and they have carried this thing by the microphone/dropped it and everything still works as good as the day I got it.

I have my own recording studio and play every instrument so obviously want my son to grow up to learn everything too. i bought this thinking it was cute he already has drums let alone tries to play mine and my guitars and keyboard so i thought this would be a nice addition to his collection. once receiving and playing with it myself i realized that this item is so much more... you can actually record mix sing along and record vocals even process you vocals to be high or low. this device is amazing with guitar sounds dj drums keyboard . even the keyboard has multiple sounds like drums violin, guitar, orchestra, midi, etc etc then you have the play along songs that will light up and teach your kid how to play the song on the keyboard, there are about 20 songs to learn ranging from rock,techno,seasonal,jazz, country and pop to learn and you can record with all of them . for a kid that likes music this is the ultimate toy/musicians training tool for them . only thing i would add is an output cable so i could record my son. for $19 this is an outright steal vtech hit a winning home run with this one. so happy i bought this for my son.

Other than the migraine I occasionally get and the sincere wish that the batteries will die, this item is a big hit! My son never puts it down! He loves the mic and plays his recordings over and over! If you want to get your money's worth and keep your kid active, this is a winner! My 12 year old even gets carried away when she plays on it with my son ( who is 2 1/2 and the gift was intended for). My only recommendation would be to stock up on tylenol :)

Perfect for a toddler

My grandson is 2 years old and loves to play with my keyboard when he comes to visit. This one is perfect for him. He was able to figure out some basic instructions very early, but it has lots of options that he will learn to use as he grows older. This keyboard should keep him busy for a couple of years before he needs an upgrade.
